Awesome deals for happy hour. Many local beers on tap. Loved the coconut shrimps and volcano fries, very spicy 👌🏻

The food was absolutely terrible except for the burger. The Buffalo wings had no flavor at all. The smoked meat had no flavor and tasted bad. That artichoke was just a complete dissapointment. They even burnt the bread. I never like giving bad food reviews but this was the blandest and worst food I've had at a restaurant that was supposed to be fine dining.

Stopped by for appetizers and drinks at happy hour. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Great setting. Happy hour menu a bit scarce, but still a great experience.

Very fun spot for happy hour! We went a few times in our 5 days in the area. The bartender slings tons of drinks and gives fantastic service.

Very nice! Large portions served and svc with Aloha spirit. Wonderful open air seating. A must stop in Keauhou shopping center. A Hui Hou!!

The staff was wonderful and friendly and gave us excellent service. The food was very good and the menu had a lot of options to choose from. We sat at the bar and the tender was attentive and made us bomb drinks!

The food isn’t anything special but the device is TOP NOTCH! So depending on your Hawaiian experience you might notice people operating on “island time”. We had an incredible bartender, working solo with the entire bar filled with patrons a majority of them ordering food. His attention and speed was incredible he would be exemplary in LA or New York City, very impressive if I may say so. The drunken shrimp was good not great. Other things were closer to average or good.x the beer taps and beer was on point where some other bars have their kegs too warm but not here. Also I forgot my credit card for the tab and the bartender gave it to me in the parking lot. Much appreciated and that’s going way above and beyond. The staff is incredible here.

Typical open air tropical weather sports bar and restaurant. Burgers are large, we share, and the fries are crispy and hot. Really enjoy the calamari and the steak salad as well.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and our waitress was excellent she checked on us often to see how we were doing and see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend with place to sit back relax and enjoy good good.

Food was good! Service was a bit slow but I enjoyed the tacos and ribs on hh.

Came here for drinks and dinner and had a wonderful time! Our server was charming and funny, plus the food and drink were on point. They have a good list of Hawaiian beers on tap at reasonable prices. For food I got a Caeser salad with crispy chicken and it was exactly what I wanted. Chicken was cooked really well. Would come back again!

I went for happy hour for drinks and tapas. Great service and friendly staff, but ok food and drinks. Skip the cocktails and go for beer or wine instead since there is no taste of liquor in the mixed drinks. The Margarita and Mai Tai didn’t have any liquor taste in them. The Tapas menu was a nice variety with good presentation.

Food was decent two nights in a row but nothing to write home about. Service was excellent. Great place if you're hungry and close by.

We went to the manta ray night your by 6.30 pm. A your guide recommend this restaurant and called ‘local taste’. Just wasting money. No joke terrible terrible terrible food! I could not eat anything in my plate(skippers plate) other than fries. My husband ordered off the hook. He hated it(he is disposed of normally and eats everything. The only good point was our server. She is kind, friendly, and smiley. I guess her name is Haley. I do not know islanders but if you are a tourist like me and are here to have a couple of good days and tasty island food, please do not come here! Cocktails had no taste either. !

our meal, it wasn’t offered. The waitress said I could order salad instead of fries with my burger, but failed to mention there was a $5 up charge. (We don’t mind the up charge but feel we should be informed of one.). The burger we ordered the menu mentioned on the menu it came with avocado & we didn’t get it. When I asked the server about it, she argued with us, and said we could pay extra for it until I asked for the menu & showed her. She then brought avocados for us. We were charged over $78 for 2 burgers, 2 salads & 2 beers. Our bill had an additional $11.78 tip added for a table of 6+, and we only had 2 people. When we asked the server for a receipt, she then reduced it to $66. An IPA beer was $8 during Happy Hour. Food & service was mediocre; won’t be back!!! This place is poorly managed.

Food was quite good, but we found our server to be very annoyed with us. Ordered grilled chicken on a caesar salad, and got crispy chicken (after we mentioned a gluten allergy...) and she literally snarled at having to take it back to be fixed. There were 5 of us and we asked for the bill to be split in three separate bills... we were told "the menu says no split checks." FYI it says "no split checks for groups of 6 or larger" 🙄 she did split it, but not without making it known what an inconvenience it was...

Found this place last year and went back again this year. Burgers, chicken, pork, brisket, and seafood are all great, can't go wrong ordering anything here. Drinks and drafts from the bar are well made and they have something for everyone. Sorry I didn't get pictures of the food, but here are a few of the views.

Usually our service is quick and easy and the atmosphere is always chill. Tonight for some reason, it was off. We walked in just before 7p, got greeted and sat down at our table with our two kids. We waited about 8 minutes for anyone to finally approach us. But while we were waiting we noticed a server who was checking on tables around us and talking to the bartender but never came to our table. She saw us sitting there for some time but did not acknowledge us. As the server from the other side of the restaurant swung by the bar, it looked like she asked him to take our table. It didn’t make any sense that he would have to take one table on the opposite side of the restaurant when his section was clearly on the other side and the female server wasn’t busy looking. She was mainly standing at the bar talking. The female server did not say anything to us and just kept acknowledging tables around us and getting drinks and food out quickly. Two more tables got seated after us in her section and she immediately served them. Throughout our dinner, things were delayed because our server was busy in his section across the restaurant where it seemed like he couldn’t check on us as easy. I wish I got her name but didn’t. She wore a black Ola brew shirt and black shorts. It was very disappointing to have experienced this type of negative vibes from this server at a place we normally get good service from.

Very mixed experience. It was strange. We got there about 1.5 hours before closing. As we arrived, the two women ahead of us asked for an outside table and were immediately shown outside. We asked for the same from the young man hosting but were told “I’m seating in sections now” and were shown a table inside. Okay. We happily took the table he offered. The inside was mostly empty, the seats around the bar were about half full, outside was also about half full. Our section was pretty empty. There might have been one or two other tables in use. . Our lovely, lovely server came to the table and brought us beer and food recommendations. The beer came quickly, followed shortly by the food. The brisket fries had really good fries, with decent miso gravy, brisket, mushrooms, and onions. I was pretty happy. Hubby’s pork salad was fresh, with a very mild vinaigrette and slightly chewy but pleasantly flavoured pork slices. He was happy, too. The server checked on us several times and before we finished our meals asked if we wanted anything else. We said “no” so she brought the bill and we settled up. I think she may have gone home because we never saw her again. We sat listening to the live music and finished our food and beers. After a few minutes, I waved the host over and asked him how long the musician would be playing and if we could change our minds about leaving and get another beer. He said he would have to ask our server if that would be possible and disappeared. Ten minutes went by. The only other server we saw wandered by a few times delivering food to others but our original server never came back. No indication anyone was going to answer my question. The area we were in was completely empty so, again, I think our server was gone. After 10-12 minutes, I asked the host again if we could get a beer. I offered to move to the bar if there were two seats together. He said he didn’t think so and walked away. I thought he might go speak to the bartender or even the other server but he didn’t. We sat for about 5 more minutes and left. It was about 35 minutes until closing. The outside section was still half full, the bar seats were almost all full, food was still coming out of the kitchen, and the inside was almost empty. I’m not sure how this went wrong but we really wanted to stay and listen to the music with another beer and could not figure out how to accomplish that.

Shrimp linguine was awesome. I had the scampi style sauce. Great waitress and service as well.

Decent happy hour with plenty of beverage options. Ordered the Kimchi burger and was fantastic. Cannot beat the views with full ocean visibility!!!

Thank you so much for the amazing food and virgin Caesar was delish! amazing staff, we didn’t get the name of the lady that drove us back to our place but thank you soo soo much! We are from Chilliwack, BC and will definitely be back. But here till the 8th.

We were snorkeling nearby and got hungry. Tropics popped up on our map app. Quiet. Clean. Good selection of food. Service was great. Prices are right for the area. Very friendly and helpful. We’re snorkeling again in a few days and will most likely pop back in for lunch again.

The day started off fabulous with Lynn as our server. The food was good. However Jessica, the restaurant manager does not do a very good job of managing the restaurant. After our girl went on break, we sat for over an hour trying to get served. When we went to the bar for a drink, the bartender said a waitress had to get us our drink. However, he was generous enough after seeing that a waitress hadn't come to our table for a while he did bring a drink over. However he said the server would have to get us our food. She never came. The dirty appetizer plates remained on our table for over an hour and we were never able to order additional food. Jessica, restaurant manager, was seated at a table doing administrative work and not managing the restaurant. The sad thing is the restaurant was not that crowded. It is definitely poorly managed. I am just thankful we were able to take care of our server prior to her going on break. Lynn was an excellent server!

The food was delicious and great selection of beers. What made the experience 100 times better was Misty! Her amazing level of service is beyond what we have experienced in industry. We would ask for drinks or water and I kid you not she would run and within 50 seconds it was on our table. She made some great suggestions for food and some beers….. so gracious and pleasant. She had the whole family smiling within minutes of meeting her. She kept an eye on us and as soon as we finished something she would come by to make sure we didn’t need anything else.

One of the best places I tried in Kona. Delicious food with great service and good collection of local beer collection at a reasonable prices. Brisket fries are a MUST try. The portions are huge so consider yourself warned
