Absolutely amazing! The food was awesome. We had the canoe for two which had 5 different appetizers, the carnivore platter, the seafood treasures and topped it off with chocolate banana bread pudding and pineapple upside cake. The service was awesome, the restaurant was clean. Definitely a place to try - at least once.

Experience was great as usual; same goes for the food. The employees are always so kind! The restaurant maintains a friendly/ home vibe to it. I Love it!

Outstanding service & well executed entries. Locally sourced ingredients. Lovely atmosphere. Some constructive feedback. 1.Blackened Ahi tuna salad was seared not blackened. Thus the flavor profile one would expect was missing. This made a difference in an otherwise nice dish. 2. Roy's gift card purchased at Roy's on the mainland was not accepted. We were told that Roy's mainland restaurants are no longer associated with Roy's on any Hawaii locations. Who knew? Interesting.....

Food was amazing. We were advised by our tourist with Hi5 told us about their amazing food and the best Pineapple martini he had near our resort. We were not disappointed. The drinks and food was great. The waiter was friendly and tentative. If ever near there again will go back again. The price is high but the food is worth it.

This place is fantastic. A little on the pricey side, but when you're eating food from a famous chef, it is to be expected. I had the brisket, and it was absolutely incredible. It was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the butterfish and it was delicious. The drinks were very good. Our service was great, and we did not have to wait to be seated. I love this place, and I would absolutely eat here again.

Roy's is an excellent high end restaurant located at Ko Olina Golf Course. We were treated like royalty checking in and being seated. Our party of four was waited on by two servers. After some discussion with the waiter we all chose the fixed price menu with the wine pairings. Every thing was perfect. Expensive but well worth it.

Ordered the three course Prix-Fixe and enjoyed every bite. The flavors were highly complex, thoughtfully executed, and balanced. The service was excellent before we even reached the door as they held it open for us and welcomed us. Our server, Norman, was attentive and professional but also had a personal touch. The support staff could be seen everywhere, filling glasses and checking on meals, so there was never a missed opportunity to order another cocktail or ask about the menu. The open kitchen was running smoothly and quietly even during the busy dinner hours. Lastly, they brought us some wonderful berry tarts for free as a congratulations for visiting on our honeymoon.

A beautiful restaurant to celebrate at! My wife and I enjoyed our fifth anniversary dinner here while vacationing on Oahu. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had, and my wife’s salmon was fantastic. The chocolate soufflé was a showstopper, the highlight of the evening for sure. With a beer and tip our total was about $200, so a bit pricey, but perfect for a special night!

This restaurant has some of the best service I’ve ever received. Every single person we encountered was so friendly and helpful. It’s obviously well-managed, and they clearly hire great people. All should be commended. Their food is also amazing. There’s so much on the menu that looks great.

Located conveniently next to the golf club, Roy’s Ko Olina offers the perfect respite for golfers seeking a cold drink and good food. On a late afternoon visit after a round of golf, we found the indoor tables mainly empty. However, we were ushered to the patio seating instead, which came off as slightly odd considering the apparent availability indoors. But any initial disappointment quickly evaporated when we met our server. His upbeat demeanor and exceptional service made our experience enjoyable and relaxing. We timed our visit with their Aloha Hour, granting us half-priced options on some of their food options. We chose the Roy’s Canoe for Two, an ensemble that exceeded our expectations. The Dry Ponzu Dusted Honey Dipped Wings and Spicy Ahi Maki were other winners on our table. However, the impression of value may have been different had we paid the full price. The excellent service and quality food during Aloha Hour make it worth a visit, but the regular prices might give one pause. Overall, though, Roy’s Ko Olina is a pleasant spot for post-golfing indulgence.

Invited to dinner here by a friend while visiting Oahu. While it is on the upper end price wise, it is totally worth a visit here for a date, special occasion, or just a really excellent dinner. We enjoyed every dish that came out from the appetizer to dessert! Would come again next time we visit.

This place is tucked back in the golf course but the views are very good, the staff is super friendly and the food was great! Prices were very reasonable during happy hour as well.

Overall 4: Food 4.5 Fresh ingredients. We’ll put together dishes and combinations. Food was heavily seasoned. Service 4 Server was friendly. Because they were distracted with other staff attentiveness was lacking. We sat outside and had issues with flies. As we were constantly swatting, finally midway into dinner a manager noticed and brought over the fly fans to our table. I wish we knew they had them. Ambiance 4 We were in Hawaii so we wanted to sit outside. The paint on the tables were chipping and were in horrible condition. Did they forget to put out a table cloth? When the ukuleles started playing and signing the stress went away. Next time we’ll sit inside because it’s lovely in there and would have probably lent to a different experience.

We are on vacation and this is one of our favorite restaurants in multiple states. We found out Roy's was minutes from our resort so we had to dine a few days later. Everything was delicious and the golf course views were amazing. We will definitely return for happy hour before we leave next week.

We had mixed experiences with the food. My sea bass with crispy belly pork and mushrooms was delicious while my wife's Poke was too salty for her taste (probably because of the mayo sauce). Other than that we had a great time and the atmosphere was the star of the night - we got a table outside and had dinner surrounded by stunning golf course views.

This was an amazing restaurant. The view outside was incredible and very picturesque. The pink snapper and butter fish were favorites at the table. The chicken spring rolls were delicious, highly recommend! For dessert, the chocolate soufflé was decadent and worth the wait! This restaurant won’t disappoint.

Serious Eats! I knew going into Roy’s was going to be a financial heart ache but I can now say it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought. More importantly you got more than your moneys worth. DO NOT snack before you go. Our group of 4 from Illinois knew we were going for good food and an experience of a lifetime with great friends. We started with cocktails and complementary edamame, great start. Wait staff was outstanding and described many offerings that were not on the menu as well as some of the signature dishes. Very tough decisions to be made from here. We started with 2- Canoes for Two and Compressed Watermelon Salad. Personally, after the fact I can say I could have just had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. Very light and refreshing vs. egg rolls and complements For the entree, I had Chinese Style Opakapaka. It had bits of sausage and mushrooms sitting on baby Boc Choy. I have to say it was the best fish I have ever had, being from ILLINOIS remember. Then I tried my friends Misoyaki Butterfish. OMG, this fish was amazing. If you are a group of 2, these would be the two dishes to get so you can share. HUGE portions that are double the size for the price we would get in the Midwest. The last entree was the Grilled Japanese Hamachi. Delicious fish, huge portion but just didn’t amaze me like the other 2. We had coupons for desert. The Lava Cake was such a good way to finish a Celebratory meal with great friends. Drinks, Mai Tai was the favorite over the Martini. The lady’s loved the Chardonnay.

Underwhelming. The seafood sampler dish gives you really tiny portions of mediocre dishes and the ribeye was good but not $70 good. I've had better ambiance at long horn. We were celebrating an anniversary and this place didn't "hit" that romantic vibe. Also, the staff was super friendly but completely clueless about how to approach a celebrating couple. The chocolate souffle was almost good enough for 4 stars, best I ever had.

Visited Roy’s for our wedding reception. The outdoor seating area was gorgeous, beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere and a convenient outdoor bar for drinks. Food was amazing, our party was around 20 people and everyone raved about how great the service and food were. The drinks were tasty as well. The event planning team were courteous and extremely helpful with all of our requests/questions. A truly great spot for a meal, escape from the resort or an intimate event.

The Butterfish is very good and lives up to the hype. In general, the flavours are intense - don't let the fish on the menu fool you, you'd better enjoy rich food! Well worth the price on every level - service, ambiance, taste, presentation, creativity. It was a great night out.

Our whole experience at Roy's was extremely nice. The food is excellent, on top of the alcohol being great. Our server (Bryson) and the entire ambiance were amazing. There is nothing there that can't please you.

Everything was amazing! They were able too squeeze us in at the bar after our previous plans were cancelled last minute. We were given excellent service. The butterfish and chocolate soufflé was incredible.

Went there for lunch with my wife on the last day, and everything was excellent. Food was excellent, the Roy's Prosecco was great. The outside deck for dining was perfect over looking the waterfalls on the golf course. We even had a few feathery friends to walk up say hello and fly away.

Best restaurant in Hawaii. Service is always amazing. Food is absolutely delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything you order.

Our dinner here was one we will never forget! The atmosphere was great and the staff was beyond exceptional. Right off the bat the cocktails we had at the bar while we waited were excellent. Each course of the meal was delicious, the quality of the food and the ingredients were top notch from start to finish. My wife had the prosciutto wrapped scallops, there were only 4 scallops (wish there was a few more) but the flavor was incredible. I had the Banana jam lamb chops, they were cooked medium rare and we're tender enough to cut with a spoon. The flavor of the was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, the banana jam complimented the lamb very well. And to top everything off the chocolate souffle was the best I have ever had.
