Great panoramic views just a short walk from the car park, ~20minutes round trip. There is a downhill grade to the outlook so a small climb return but track is well maintained and I think a pram could manage. No toilets.

A very nice place with a very nice view over the entrance of the bay. Great walking area and then take a rest on the beach.

Absolutely stunning views on this short walk. Well worth the stop! Too bad there aren't more signs letting people know it's there, we found out from the attendant at Rawene caravan park. Would've had no idea what we'd missed out on!!

Great view to stop at, if you are passing by. The trail to it is pretty short and well maintained, so it should be easy for everyone to get there.

We were watching a crayfish boat going out of the Hokianga Harbour entrance just before the sun set. It was amazing. Absolutely stunning walk to the Scenic Track. People had the right idea they went to Opononi Fish Takeaways and ordered their meal and came to the lookout to eat. Clever. The view was well worth going. Sorry I did take photos of the sunset. You do not need a ticket to visit it is free for everyone to go an visit. You do not need to wait to enter. Just make sure you take your money and backpacks with you. to be safe.

Excellent easy walk 15 minute round trip. Great views opportunities to do walks to 2 other beaches or coastal hill walk.
