I've never had a mango curry. Had to take a chance. Very tasty! Summer rolls had great sauces. Massamun good too.

I was sad to see that Bangkok House changed ownership, however Kiri Thai picks up where Bangkok House left off. The panang curry was fantastic and I'll be coming back when I visit Kona.

Fantastic Thai. I have tried several in Kona Town and this one is the one to beat. The family who runs it is so nice and they serve Ola beer on tap. We got the mild pork green curry for takeout and the takeout quality is very high! I highly recommend this place for both takeout and dine-in. It is in the King Kam mall.

Had Mango Curry and Massaman Curry. Both great flavors. Mango my favorite and so unique! Medium spice was just enough kick to no overpower flavor. Mango sticky rice yummy. Summer rolls had really nice peanut sauces. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

I would love to give a good review, but it would not be honest! I know that there are a lot of good reviews, so go with your gut! The food was just ok!! I’ve had lots of Thai food, and this was definitely not the best! I could have eaten mine and been ok with my experience, but my biggest issue was, my oldest son got food poisoning! We where never asked wether we liked our food as is fairly customary! When someone leaves there plate full of food, you would think you would be asked wether you liked it or not! Nothing was said! We said nothing due to trying to be nice and not cause an issue! But after experiencing my son projectile vomiting and dry heaving all the way home and being sick for two days, I was compelled to write this review! Hopefully this is the exception and not the rule! The staff was nice! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤙🤙

We came here for dinner for our last night in Hawaii and it was fabulous. Most flavourful food of the entire trip. Having spent a fair amount of time in Thailand we were impressed with how authentic the food and flavour was. Pad Thai reminded me of Bangkok. Would definitely recommend.

The look on the waitress's face was like "oh God, why do I have to wait on this guy!!" Fake smile and insincere greeting ...food is good... overpriced though..buy everything is these days

Food was good but not amazing. Decent portion for the price. Service was bad. The waiter was impatient and rolled her eyes a few times when we asked about the soup broth content. Got our order mixed up. Probably won’t come back during our stay.

Kiri Thai in Hawaii is a decent spot for a relaxed lunch. The menu offers a range of Thai dishes that are flavorful but not too spicy, catering to various taste preferences. While the food may not reach the heights of greatness, it still delivers satisfying flavors and decent portions. One advantage is that the restaurant is not typically crowded, making it a peaceful and laid-back dining experience. If you're looking for a casual lunch spot where you can enjoy a meal without the hustle and bustle, Kiri Thai is worth considering.

This is not a 5 star restaurant more like 3-4 or whatever you would grade average. The portions were decent and so were the prices. One server taking care of the smallish restaurant. Nothing memorable about the ambiance. The neighbors fried rice looked like nice portion.

A+++ We walked in about 15 minutes before they were about to close. We kindly asked if they would still serve us and the staff member was incredibly kind. She said “yes of course, we don’t want you to leave hungry!” She sat us down and told us not to rush ❤️ We started with the shrimp summer rolls. So so delicious. It came with 2 dipping sauces, one was peanut based and the other was fish sauce based. We loved it. Then we ordered chicken larb—ground chicken with spices, lime, fish sauce and ground rice on top of chopped romaine. It was really refreshing and seasoned very well. The flavor was fantastic but he wished the lettuce wasn’t chopped and instead like “cups” that he could scoop the larb into and pick up to eat. Otherwise it was top notch. I got the massaman shrimp curry.. WOW. This blew my mind. The flavors, spice level, and shrimp to veggie ratio was perfect. The jasmine rice on the side soaked everything up and made it that much heartier. If you don’t have anything else, I highly recommend this dish. Thank you again for a great experience and delicious food. We live on Kona and will definitely be back!!! Mahalo

Our waitress was prompt, sweet, and made sure that we had everything we needed! Service was impeccable. The food though? Let’s get this straight. I was blown out of the water. The larb had a wonderful spicy and tangy flavour to it. The ground pork was perfectly cooked and the herbs added beautiful Thai overtones. I’ve never had anything like it before! We also had the crispy duck. Perfectly crispy and ultra juicy. The sauce was a tad sweet but also savoured in umami. The Pad Kee Mao was exactly what I had expected based on the other orders. Purely delicious. Definitely worth the $5 squid add-on, as they piled the dish with the protein! We also had the mango sticky rice at the end. Tasted like other Thai restaurants in Canada, so therefore, a perfect recipe! Overall, we’ll definitely be back. Loved it here! Such a nice break from all the other touristy foods I’ve had lately!

Really good curry, I don't favor coconut milk so happy to find that there wasn't too much of it. Mango curry is really special and highly recommend to try out its hot mango. Green curry is flavorful but a bit salty.

This place was a hole in the wall but a fantastic place. The food was so flavorful and spicy but tolerable and enjoyable. We got 3 dishes for 2 of us. Mango curry, pineapple Curry with shrimp and Also something with rice noodles which was great too.

Hands down one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had! Most authentic and hit home! Even though there is shortage of staff the chef even helped out occasionally! The service was the best! 🙏🏽 I’ll visit again.

Reasonable priced, delicious Thai food. Small restaurant with good service (hard to find these days). Lunch specials on weekdays. Everything we ordered was excellent. The veggies were cooked to perfection, spice level perfect (they as you, mild, med or very spicy. We will be back and recommend to friends and family.

Robert and Mot are amazing. This is some of the best Thai I’ve ever had… so fresh and delicious. We will be back again! Mahalo for the amazing hospitality and exceptional tastes!

Monna Massu curry with chicken and potato was excellent! Pad Thai was tasty, but on the dry side. Could have used more green onion and lemon or lime. Would go back again.
