Such a great experience. The food was delicious, as we're the endless drinks. The entertainment was great as well. The fire dancing was the perfect way to end it. We could tell that the dancers were enjoying themselves too which made that much more of a difference to my and I.

This is the second time I have been to this Lū'au. Both times I have visited Kona I have made the show. Production quality is 5-star. Very well orchestrated. The show people are professionals and so a great job. It is engaging and entertaining. The food is very good and it's all you can eat and drink. If you go to the event, parking is only 5$ with validation. There are 2 options for seating. I have done the general seating the first time and the restaurant style seating the second. If you're there just to do it the general is less expensive and fine. Not a bad seat in the house. However if you are there for a special occasion, the restaurant seating is up front and offers some tables for 2 but you have to get there a little early to get checked in and be ready to get out to the eating area near the front of the pack. The restaurant seating is seated first, then the general seating.

Very nice evening dinner and show. Food was great, staff was fantastic. The show had a great mix of history, music, dancing and fun as we spun through a number of different Polynesian cultures. Our kids had at least as good a time as the adults did. Highly recommended.

Lots of fun! The food is great and there's more than you could possibly eat, the open bar has awesome Mai Tai's and some local beers, you learn a bit about Hawaiian and Polynesian history and culture, and the dances are very impressive. Tickets are a bit pricey but for everything you get it's worth it.

The Luau is held in a great location as the water glistens behind you. I was impressed with the great organizing with so many people for the event. We were greeted with a mai tai and a laid before taking our seats. Food was appetizing and plentiful; easy to get to from one's seat. I appeciated that all drinks were included in the price. The program was varied and maintained interest. Very worth attending.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the final act, the fire guy, was amazing. The open bar was horrendous, there was little variety and the drinks they did serve were not good. The entertainment was mediocre, dancers weren't even in sync. Definitely not worth the money, much better options on the island at that price point. Suggest doing more research and looking elsewhere. The food was okay but I'm not a big fan of buffets.

We really enjoy the show and the food. The check in was quickly. My wife drank gin tonics and I drank beers. I wish the show would last longer but it was great

Overall, wonderful experience and time at Island Breeze Lu'au. My partner and I had a blast and enjoyed all the food, drinks, and cultural entertainment. The only minor setback was the toilets for both men & women were flooded and we had to go back to the hotel lobby bathrooms which were a way. Other than that it was a wonderful time and thank you for showing us part of your beautiful history.

Great space. Food was good. Dancing was fun. MC was a little hokey, but that's okay. Overall, a really good time.

So excited to experience a luau while in Hawaii. There were many options from the two islands we visited. Island Breeze did not disappoint. From the history of the islands to the performers to the food and atmosphere. It was an evening I won't forget.

This luau is worth the money. I highly suggest getting the upgraded package. My three boys and I had a front-and-center table (reserved seating), and we didn't have to wait in line. Get there early if you want to participate in the kid activities, and make sure to validate your parking.

What a wonderful experience we had! We were able to book our luau over the phone with ease. Upon arriving at the resort there was plenty of parking. We had no problems entering the resort to check in. Arrive early is key. The waiting was minimal only because we had to wait for the rest of the guest as soon as everyone showed up they marched us right in. Upon being seated we were let loose to go enjoy the buffet. The food was amazing. The entertainment was well rehearsed and enjoyable to watch. The whole experience lasted 3 hours. Warning all you can eat and drink.👌🤙🍹🍻💯

We had a great time at the Luau, the location and parking were very convenient and the grounds were perfect for the show. The food was good and had a variety of Hawaiian dishes to choose from. The desserts were the best part. The Royal court entrance was very cool, make sure you stand for the procession and don't get in their path! We had a hula lesson and she made it look very easy, start with simple moves and then add a few more and speed things up, it was a lot of fun to do. They took us around the different Polynesian islands with dances and performances from each one culminating in a fire show that was spectacular! I highly recommend the show, the performances were high energy and very well done!

Figured we would try out this luau. While the respect to the land it is held on as well as the luau performance (and performers) was fantastic, the food and drinks were very lackluster. The fish was, well fishy, which no fish should be. The chicken was so-so and the meat, while flavorful, was tough. Granted no luau is 5 star quality, but for what you pay, you would think the food quality would be a lot better. While the beer choice was Kona Longboard, the Mai Tai was definitely geared towards the inspecting Hawaiian tourist who thinks Mai Tai's are nothing but pineapple juice and rum. The service after we were initially seated was just about non existent at our table. Not once did anyone come by to ask if we needed anything or to clear our plates. Not sure if that had more to do with a lack of staff or what.

You go to Hawaii once and you probably need to do a Luau once. We chose Island Breeze based on some online recommendations. The food was just ok. The entertainment was ok. We expected better I guess. We were just a bit disappointed. Maybe it was us though.

Fun experience. A bit cheesy, but entertaining and the food was really good. We were so pleasantly surprised!! They handled having a lot of people, especially during Covid, really well - tables spread out; everyone had a good view from what I could tell; buffet tables spread out. drinks were good. they do shut it before the end, but probably not a bad idea. open plenty long. everyone very friendly.

Such a great experience. The Hawai'ian culture is just so interesting. They honor their past and bring it too us with a wonderful show. All you can eat buffet and drinks (MAI TAI's!!!!) and an incredible show. A must see.

The show was great. Food was geared to many types of tastes. Buffet included the traditional poi, lomi salmon and poke. The pig cooked in an imu was very good. Drinks were unlimited, but you had to get them yourself. I was told by locals this show was just okay, prior to booking. Honestly, it was my second choice. I've seen several luaus, and the show didn't disappoint my first time visitors. The host has a gift of storytelling. He took the audience down a path of the Polynesian Islands. The dancers were very good with the fire eater/fire twirler being the star. The waterside location was a plus. If I had a criticism, it would be that the host hotel did not tell us how far the event venue was located from the hotel entrance. I had a handicapped person and would have ordered a wheelchair. Heck, I needed one for myself after the hike. Not taking stars off for the show, since they had nothing to do with it. The staff was very attentive to helping my mother to her seat after her very long walk. The chairs were fold up, short and very uncomfortable.

three stars for the main show and the Oceanside location, but only 1 star for the rest. I do not recommend this luau. First off, when you get there there is no signage to where you need to go. There is a luau concierge desk, with nobody at it. The signage at the front of the line is so small I wasn’t able to see that there was a separate entrance for the more expensive tickets, so we waited in line like everyone else, but waited at the end because my mom had a walker. The tickets said nothing about special entry, so that was a big disappointment that we somehow missed that. The food was like something you would find at a family reunion, not a Marriot hotel. The was four stations, and lineups for each station. We stood in line for the salad station, then stood in line for the meat station etc. There was only one place to get drinks, and, of course a line up for that too. We paid the extra to get a table up front, but because we had no idea the extra money also helped us skip the line to get in, by the time we got there there was no table set aside for us, and we had to wait awkwardly while they put one together. The entertainers were great, and we could tell they enjoyed working together, but for more than $300 (CAD) a person this was a big waste of my hard earned salary.

The location of this luau is everything. The performances were amazing too! And the host made the show top notch. The way he was narrating ... I honestly felt like I was watching a Disney film!!! Very well organized luau! Loved it!

The whole event was well organized from beginning to end. All the staff and performers were pleasant and welcoming. The food was well prepared and good tasting. The performance was very well put together. I highly recommend this luau.

This was a miserable experience. It rained so hard that all of the plates were flooded. At $170 a person, the Marriott should be able to afford outdoor tents. My whole family paid $500, got ready, and drove 40 minutes to sit in the pouring rain for an hour. The performers were drenched and ended the show half way through. They failed to provide what was advertised. The staff said nobody could get a refund. Date of experience: June 2023

Lots of fun, good (and plentiful) food, and the highlight for me was the cultural experience with songs and dancing from around Polynesia.

When you think of a Lū’au, what do you think of? Well whatever that may be, (fire, hula girls, amazing music, etc) this is THE Lū’au to attend! The resort has incredible artwork with Hawaiian history you have to checkout! You get a photo taken walking to the show and then are greeted with an adornment of wonderful foods and drinks! The staff here were so fun and the bartenders made the night feel so special & authentic! There is food for everyone, from classic dishes to chicken nuggets! It’s unlimited food and drinks so for the price, it’s absolutely worth it. THE SHOW! I don’t even have words, the music, the dancers, the fire, it really leaves you speechless! I highly recommend this Lū’au!

Best Luau show I have experienced. food was fresh with a good variety. Only issue was they ran out of pork and replaced it with an inferior pulled product pork. good poor on drinks.
