It was a gorgeous drive up to the distillery, and the grounds/view were even more fantastic once we arrived. The tour itself was quick (covered just enough information) and interesting. I've been on many similar tours, but this was the first time I got to see the bottling, labeling, and packaging in action! I recommend a visit, just be sure to check their website for tour times.

A fantastic stop for any Maui vacation. They easily have one of the best views in the Up-Country, the spirits are delicious, and the tour is not only affordable but comes with a souvenir shot glass. Our tour guide Joe was phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. We also stopped in the Cafe and the fresh made juices and Banana bread was great. It's free to come in and enjoy the area and visit the shop, Cafe, and grounds. The tour is an optional addition.

When I was looking for places to visit in Maui, this was not a place that showed up on any travel blog or website I searched. Which is a HUGE mistake. This distillery is truly remarkable. It sits perched on the side of a mountain near Haleakala and you get a great view of the sunset. We did the spirits tasting and tour. The tour was brief but informative and fun. Followed by the tasting, which was both really fun and engaging! We definitely have a new favorite rum :). In fact, after the tour we ended up coming back again the following day for sunset with food and drinks. They have an excellent menu and even better drink menu (of course!). The place was filled with locals and all of their family and friends for sunset. Truly an enjoyable experience! 10/10 would recommend anyone looking to experience something off the beaten path and especially away from the beach!

I came here on the recommendation of a friend who lives on the island, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The tasting experience is about 45 minutes and walks you around the farm before leading to the outdoor tasting room. These were some of the best and most unique rums, vodka, and gin I’ve tasted. There’s also a restaurant on site with an incredible view, great cocktails using the farm’s spirits, and hands-down the best pizza flatbreads you’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend adding this to your itinerary on your next Maui trip.

I was really impressed by our tour of Hawaii Sea Spirits. The tour was informative. Not sure I learned enough to be a moonshiner but we did learn a lot. The teasing part have you an idea of the quality and flavors of the rum and vodka. The rums are great! Very smooth. They do not have a chemical or harsh quality to them. The same can be said about the gin & the vodka. Ok, so then we had lunch! The Poke bowl was super. Very good. The outdoor venue is beautiful. Have a cocktail, eat some great food and enjoy the view. Highly recommended!!!

We did the tour, but the star of the show here (besides the view) is the bar and kitchen. The mixed drinks were delicious, but our favorite part was the flatbreads (though that opinion might change once we crack open what we bought from the store). Well worth the drive to this beautiful venue for lunch and some drinks.

A really informative tour, make sure you do the taste testing. The tour guide was fun & knew what he was talking about. Take the time to have lunch there & take in the beautiful views. Don't forget to buy the alcohol as well 🤗

Wonderful tour and tasting with Patty. She was very entertaining, tour and comedy all in one. The Cafe had amazing cocktails and we shared a pizza, delicious. The views are 360degrees beautiful can see shore to shore on Maui!

Beautiful Cafe at the Ocean vodka ranch in Makawo. Came for dinner one night with a friend and didnt realize how beautiful this place would be. The pictures don't do it justice. We ordered a pizza and banana pops to share, grabbed a few chairs and found a spot on the yard to catch the sunset. It was a beautiful view and great food. I will be back but would bring a blanket for when the temperature drops.

Great place to spend your late afternoon and sunset! The tour with Joe was educational, tasty and fun. Who knew there was so much science in distilling spirits. Pattie in the gift shop was super friendly and helpful and Cameron was so much fun and a great conversationalist. The farm fresh, organic food and cocktails are untouched anywhere else on the island. With the combination of great food/spirits, friendly service, a bi-coastal view with the sun setting over western Maui, I have found my new favorite spot on the island.

Tasting was great as you get to sample 5 of their spirits (rum, vodka, and gin). Our tour guide Patty was hilarious and explained their distilling process that uses mineral rich ocean water. The sunset view was great alongside the fabulous food they serve at the bar/restaurant. Would go just back just for lunch or a cocktail.

Great views from the lawn out front. There are some picnic tables covered which are great. Bartender was a bit rude when I first came to order drinks. Place was empty so I'm not sure why. She was trying to shuffle us over to order. Put up signs for ordering and pickup if you want people to stand in a certain spot.

This place is an outstanding venue to visit while in Maui. The commanding view of the island from here is stunning. Plenty of room for kids to play. The cafe has good food and cocktails. The distillery tour was incomplete for us because of Covid but the tastings were great! The gift shop has some nice swag and will wrap the spirits up for the trip home. Close to the Surfing Goat Dairy for a combined excursion.
