I recently visited this Waynad with my family and friends.. What better place than Rocky Nest Homestay?! Abdul and his family were really sweet and kind and made us feel home. Abdul informed us about many places and also was patient enough to join us along. The rooms in this Homestay were also really tidy. Abdul's wife prepared few authentic Kerala dishes which I had never tasted and got a chance to eat them to my heart's content. Also got to taste proper Kerala feast on banana leaf which was specially prepared for us on Abdul's insist. Amazing place of stay, amazing people. Really worth the stay. Would definitely go back again🙂👍

Hi All, I really happy to write review for the rocky nest home stay because my experience was really very nice there. The Rooms are very spacious and clean & well maintained house The host Mr.Salam was very caring and friendly and he supported us in the planning of our trips in all kinds of ways. He did not hesitate to call all his friends to somehow support us or give necessary information He treated us as his family member. He guided us to visit more places. especially the food provided by his family was very nice. we will visit wayanad again and choose Rocky Nest for sure. Thanks Mr.Salam...

Rocky nest is located at the heart of the Kalpetta town. This can be both a good and a bad thing depending the way you look at it. Being at the center, every attraction is easily accessible from the homestay, but the location is not very scenic and a typical town place. The highlight of the place has to be the owner of the place, Mr. Abdul Salam and his family. They're very friendly and willing to go distance in making your experience the most helpful. They're cordial and make you feel welcome at their place. The rooms provided are spacious, well-maintained and very clean. The rooms also have adjoining kitchen. The food provided is simple, but delicious. If you stay for a long time it can become repetitive, but if you're not looking for fancy food, it's sufficient, if not satisfactory. Overall, I'd recommend the place for easy access, good hospitality and all-in-all a good stay.

Nice homestay at kalpetta town , without the disturbances of township. Very warm n pleasant host mr salam and their traditional food items......so yummy
