Bought cute fabric, staff at the time went out of their way to find me another square of the same fabric. Then a few days later, when my bidding sewing skills let me down, the awesome manager was kind enough to give me a little tutorial on how to thread the bottom bobbin properly on my sewing machine. This is why I keep coming back to Spotlight at Wairau. Always feel that they go the extra mile.

As a male who for some reason buys way more crafting items than I should I bloody love this place, they always seem to have what you need and if they don't you somehow will find something you can use as an alternative. Could not recommend it more!

What a service on pre-Xmas day. Really poor coordinated, rude and unhelpful staff. 5 people came to me to say that dogs are not allowed while there was no sign at the door and I’ve been there 10 times before with the dog and no one ever said this to me prior. Clear you rules first and then send your annoyed staff to customers. I was a regular and will never come back again.

Staff were helpful enough. No real experience to speak of. Stuff was kind of hard to find. Woman at counter was a little short with me.
