Nice hidden away beach discovered after living on the North Shore for 30 years. It was small but a nice lunchtime stroll in the sunshine to this upper harbour beach.

This reserve is next to Soldiers' Bay, which is a very natural place of transition from harbour to mangroves to beach to unmodified wetland. That is, unmodified apart from the weeds. A good place to see beautiful sunsets.

Kauri point domain, has earned its place as one of Auckland’s best short dog walks. From the beautiful pathed course traveling to the private beach you can smell fresh ocean breezes bouncing off the Hauraki, in the distance you can see small water vessels and the occasional avid sailor out on the water. Our dog gets to meet plenty of new characters and had a field day marking up every tree until his bladder had run out of juice. At the end of the walk the dogs can dance in the sea together while white pasty men are seen floating around in bay. Sterling Arnet Kakapo Business Sales

Amazing dog park in the north shore. Always with an amazing view, you can sit by the pine trees and watch the time goes by while your 4 legged friend run free as the bay is enclosed and there’s no risk of getting a runner. There’s also a path that takes you to the bay through the bushes if you’re keen on a bit of adventure.

A great spot to take the dog for some exercise. Just 15-20 minutes pleasant bush walk from the road, and you come upon this lovely beach playground.

Great place to walk your dog. Off leash allowed. Wide but gravel path leading to a small beach.

Great little beach and bush walk which is off leash all year round. Go when the tide is out if you want to walk around the bottom of the cliffs.

Really nice place, a 7-10m walk from the road/car park, the beach looks private with excellent spot for kids and dogs to play.

Awesome place to walk the dogs. Nice clear bath to the beach and if you wish to adventure off the path, at low tide you can walk around the small headland from the beach back to the path.

Nice place to walk your dogs all the way to the beach 15-20 minutes to get to the beach. The only thing needed here for the many families that frequently visit is toilets.

Not easy access to the beach, steep and stoney. Slippery when wet. Convenient rubbish bin on the beach. Secured area for the dogs to play.
