The Mahakaleshwar Shiva Temple is a hidden delight. One of the rare temples where Shiva lingham is sleeping. This is the first time I have seen this. The temple itself is very spiritual. The priest was welcoming and helped each of us do a puja and abhishekham - offering water to the lingham I had heard of this temple and came to visit as part of visit to Amritsar. It took about one hour by car. You can get a map for Gurdaspur and Kalanaur is on the map
