Anna’s House in Kalamazoo is amazing! I had the best breakfast EVER! Our server, Liz was outstanding. I had all vegan food, pictured, my husband did not. We both loved our food and experience.

My goodness this establishment is dismal. It had been a while since I visited Anna’s House, because the last time I came, it was pretty bad, and the most recent visit was… worse. The food is extremely unremarkable, and considering the price, pretty terrible. The presentation is kind of gross. My French toast was .. hard ..? Almost as if it was dipped half way in the egg. Hard and crunchy. The eggs, extremely over cooked. Presentation was poor. My friends that I ate with got breakfast potatoes and they were hardly cooked. Cold and rubbery. I’m embarrassed I brought my buddies here. One of the worst breakfasts I have ever had.

We are gluten free and soy free. The prices are a little on the high side, but for special occasions we go here. They have good handicap accessibility too.

Five star service, our server or waitress was great. We brought all the kids and had pancakes, bacon and eggs. The coffee was good and they even gave me a to go cup to go at no extra charge. I will definitely be back for another round of great breakfast in the future!

The best gluten free and vegan options period! The food and service is always on point and I love how they have a separate area to prep the gluten free items. And the gf cinnamon roll is everything!

Wonderful breakfast restaurant! Strong old-school diner vibes here. The menu is huge and everything we ordered was delicious! The breakfast lasagna was a unique meal, like a breakfast pizza! Hash browns were nicely browned to perfection. I caved and got a pumpkin spice latte with almond milk. SO GOOD! The hot chocolate and Con miel were also hits at our table.

Upon first walking into Anna‘s House, I noticed how very clean it is. Very friendly, hostess greets immediately with a smile, and the servers give friendly service. The servers had no problems with answering all of my questions about Anna’s House. All the employees are very polite, very courteous and very professional. The bathrooms Mel & Flow are extremely clean. The food is extremely good really enjoyed the Ruben sandwich and the sweet potato fries, my guest had a cheeseburger which was extremely good as well, there’s a lot of history on this wonderful establishment. The decor is full of beautiful toaster and teapot throughout the whole establishment giving such a very earthy, but nice vibe I would definitely recommend Anna’s House.

We came in for my grandmother's birthday and we surprised that she was able to receive a birthday cinnamon roll with her meal! That made her day! The food was delicious, our server made some great recommendations, and had great things to say about what we wanted. If you get sat in the far side of the restaurant when it's cold outside, be sure to keep your coat or a sweater handy, it is pretty chilly in there by the windows. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable meal together!

FAVORITE breakfast and brunch place ever!! Wish we lived closer and could eat there every day. So tasty!! Their diet restriction meals are incredible. So many gluten free options!

Very welcoming atmosphere with bright colors and lots of natural light. Perfect mood for breakfast food which is the true highlight here! Although somewhat pricey (at least $10 per entree) the quality is definitely there. They even serve water street coffee! And if you have any dietary restrictions, this place has the most friendly menu for vegetarians, vegans, etc that I've ever seen. I highly recommend a skillet, one of their giant omelettes, or my personal favorite, the waffle. One of best breakfast places in the area, for sure!

So, this was our first time here and it was an absolutely lovely experience. It was very busy and there was a short wait. That level of business implies decent food and it was worth it. We had corned beef hash & eggs, chicken 'n' waffles and a half order of twilight french toast. The french toast is a true standout here. Amazing isn't an adequate adjective! The eggs were perfect. The corn beef hash was cooked crispy and not too salty. Our server was amazingly positive and he never let my coffee get to the bottom. I quite literally can't say enough good things and plan another visit to try more of the menu. This is a Kalamazoo "must visit"

Atmosphere and service was fantastic and family friendly. They had a well organized menu with a dedication to special diets (alternative options). Food was okay and some flavors were a little off. Serving sizes are large enough for leftovers. We went for breakfast and ate inside. Would recommend trying at least once.

Service has always been great - from the hostess to the wait staff to the table runners. The food is very good with unique flavors but not consistent and always too sweet. Portions of frosting/cream cheese filling .. etc .. are always too much. No consistency in the kitchen with this. Fresh juice is good - but depending on your waitress/waiter you may get half a glass of juice with half a glass of froth. The vegan sausage is phenomenal. The atmosphere is clean and open and airy with a good “happy” and “bright” color pattern - great for mornings. I’ll go back and I do recommend but it’s not excellent. .. but still very good on a lot of things.

Great place for breakfast/brunch! Their food is very good. Better than you would expect from a diner. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is cute and kinda “old-timey”. We got the corned beef hash and the avocado toast.

One of the go to vegetarian and vegan breakfast spots in Kalamazoo. Always great to have an entire section of the menu dedicated specifically for vegan. Had a breakfast sandwich and it was solid. Recommend this spot for veg folks.

This restaurant was very clean and looked very nice. The service was outstanding, I never had to wait for coffee refill and the food came out very quickly. The food was amazing it looked like the pictures online. The taste was very good, it was hard to decide what I wanted because it all sounded great.

I am sitting here shocked about how amazing the food is. I came today with my mother and son. I ordered the French toast combo with sausage patties, scrambled eggs with cheese, and strawberries. Everything tasted amazing and super fresh. Like they took their time cooking as well as picking ingredients. My son even said they cooked their food with love. Best breakfast from a restaurant I've ever tasted. Will be telling all my friends and family about this restaurant.

Anna’s house Great food, good service, decent value. Our first time here and they had something for everyone. The kids loved the s’mores pancakes, the wife raved about the Candied pecan and banana French toast, and I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of corned beef and hash. The biscuits were home made, huge, and amazing. The gravy was dark, rich, and boldly flavorful. The corned beef hash wash fresh and with a twist, an amazing dish (see photos).

Creative menu, great atmosphere, affordable. Monkey bread is for 6, but delicious.

I was skeptical of a place touting "number one in Michigan" but I came away with an exceptional experience. On a Sunday morning the place was packed but the waiting list procedure is top notch. Constantly updated "place in line" and waiting time expected. First rate. Once inside and seated, quick and pleasant service with an exceptional variety of breakfast items. All well made were those we had at our table, and a special order that came out wrong was quickly remedied, and caught by the waitress before arriving at the table. Great coffee! Kudos to the whole staff for an exceptional breakfast experience.

Super adorably decorated place. Just a sweet diner but with better food than a greasy spoon place. I had the veggie quesadilla which was great. Fresh! Fast service.

I am allergic to many things including gluten and soy. Anna's House, Kalamazoo had many choices that were safe for me. I arrived within an hour of closing time, and I didn't feel rushed. The waitress was very sensitive to my allergies and assured me I would be safe. I finally decided on the Monte Cristo french toast with ham and melted swiss. Their house-made raspberry melba sauce and powdered sugar topped it off. The food arrived with tiny wooden sticks with allergy printed on them, showing me the cook was aware of my allergies.I also went with the hashbrowns, which I ate before taking the photo. This was my first time trying this restaurant. I will definately be eating here again soon! Everything was great!

Wow! I have a new favorite restaurant. Our whole family went here for lunch and it was fabulous. Great service and the food was incredible! I will be back when we're in the area (or when they open a location in Bay City) I got chicken and waffles!

Such a fun experience with a great menu selection. Something to meet nearly every dietary need. Flavor of food was on point. Our family has eaten here a few times while in the area. We are never disappointed.
