DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS. I've been to Red Roofs Before, but this was easily the worst experience in both customer service and cleanliness I have ever had at a hotel. It's a Red Roof Inn, I don't expect much except for the company's pet friendly policy and clean bedding, well clean was not what we received. The sheets and bed were all stained and obviously very old. It wasn't just my room, I booked three rooms in total and they all had the same problems. It wasn't just stains, there was obviously some blood on the sheets as well. On top of all of this, we decide to go somewhere else and the person at the front office says they cannot issue us a refund because we have been checked in for over 15 minutes, and not just that, "you have been checked in for over an hour". We had been there for 20 minutes. I do not appreciate being gaslighted into thinking I had been there so long when all I did was bring my luggage upstairs, check-out the room, then come back downstairs. This could have been quick and easy, just give me my refund, but now I'm going to have to go through a dispute or chargeback. Also, I was informed that the owner of the hotel owns "like half the hotels in the area" so you might want to think twice about anything cheap in town. Cherry on top, right as we pulled out of the parking lot, two cop cars came flying down the street into the hotel.

The only positive thing I will say about this location was the front desk staff was very nice. I rely on Reviews quite often to narrow down my Stay in a hotel.. After a long day on the road,, and my original hotel being over booked, I quickly found another room online and arrived.. This $120 room was filthy. Bedding, toilets, floors, showers. Very unsafe. Parking lot filled with alot of activity. Police in and out the entire night. I'm honestly not even sure how this facility is staying open. I should have just opted to sleep in my car. DO NOT stay here.

Ended up cancelling my reservation and booking at the comfort inn downtown. The outside appears run down and the area by the vending machines was not the cleanest. I arrived around 1415 Thursday afternoon but was told the room wouldn’t be ready for another hour however, most of the hotel was vacant. The staff were very friendly and courteous but I was able to find immediate availability at a hotel more central to downtown for only ten dollars more per night

I love this place and always stay here. I feel safe and comfortable and confident if I have any thing to complain about it is going to be handled appropriately and efficiently. Also it's affordable and the location is easy to get to

Second time staying there. First time It was HELL! Rooms were Nasty! Inside & out! So many people, drugs, yelling, loud music, kids running around screaming all hrs of the nite because parents didn't care. 😡 Last week, I stayed 1 nite by myself, it was a complete turn around. 😊 Very Quiet, staff was great, room smelled good & very clean! No noise! No complaints besides should start providing breakfast, that would be great! Thank you, will return soon! 😁

Toilet paper holder had been ripped off the wall and there were just holes left in its place. Other than that everything worked great for a place to stay after the concert we attended. We didn't try the shower so I'm not sure how well it worked but the bed was decent.

Very nice and clean room for the money. The manger at the desk was amazing with me so helpful and very friendly. The room is very cool. Automatic lighting and updated sink. I love it. My place is being remodeled and we are going to stay here for the entire remodel

The hotel staff at check-in and check out were courteous, friendly and accommodating. Both staff members at check-in and check out inquired about the reason for our stay and helped us find a location we were looking for. Kudos to both these gentlemen! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable and clean. We spoke with the cleaning person who was very friendly as well. No complaints!

We have stayed 20 years plus. This is the last time we will ever stay there. The floors were so filthy, just walking from the door to the bathroom in our stocking feet, turn totally black. Towels and wash ctoths had big grease like spots on them. Totally disgusted with it. Shame on you Red Roof for those conditions!!

LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. Do not stay here unless you have any other option. My friends and I decided to try it out as we were low on options and it had some okay reviews. All three rooms we booked were completely disgusting, biological stains on beds (including some concerning red stains), eyelashes/hair on pillows, stains on sheets and floor, cigarette burns in the comforter of one room. We showed up, got the keys, checked the rooms, found them completely gross, and went to the front desk to get a refund. We were told that we had been there "almost an hour" (though we had been there about 25), and due to being there "almost an hour" that a refund could not be issued. This place is a scam, avoid for your own sake.

We paid for a king bed and were given a double bed which has a bedspread covered in giant burn holes. The room looked clean, but when we took our shoes off, our socks were filthy from the floor. The entire room was damp and no amount of AC helped. One of the bedside tables was missing. Overall, gross.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is the best motel in Kalamazoo and honestly the best Red Roof I've ever been too across the country!! Rooms are always phenomenal, staff are very helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect right off the highway. If I could rate higher I would, this place understands quality. Thank you!!

Great staff. Most of the time rooms are clean. But never had a major problem with this place. I go there every month

The walls are thin so you can hear everything next door, the ac wasn't the easiest to use, there are bugs, thr cleaning staff doesn't clean very well. On a positive note it's, cheap and close to a 24hr Dennis

There was a lot of damage done in the room. The remote control didn't have batteries and the bed wasn't very comfortable but I was too tired to look for something else at that hour.

DONT STAY HERE. Traveling on vacation and needed a night to rest. When we arrived at 930pm the air smelled of weed. The front desk clerk reminded me of a club bouncer. The room was smelly, the bedding was dirty. The characters hanging around the hotel were not very welcoming. Left within 10 mins. Never stay here.

Staff are great. Rooms are okay. Tenets are worrisome - a few people waiting outside their doors, I think many of them are likely staying long term and down on their luck, so it comes with loudness, someone was smoking on the steps, etc. I would NOT leave a single belonging in your car. AC, locks, lights work. Bed is super comfortable. Shower works. If it wasn't for the tenets and the fact everything from your washcloth to your drying towel is the same size, I'd probably stay here every time, but with cheaper rates come people who are struggling / treat the place poorly / might not care if they're being rude or not, so I can't blame the hotel for that.

Had a good stay! First room was good, 2nd room I wasn't happy with. Stayed a total of 25 days. Will be back soon. Front Desk Staff was Wonderful 😊 Thank you to you All! Laundry Staff was always right there during the day if you needed anything. See you soon! 😊

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. The room smelled like 20 year old smoke. It was damp. There were weird stains on the bedding and pillows. 🤮 We ended up using our camping equipment and slept on top of the beds. Mismatched towels... one of them was brownish in colour because it was so old. Dirty bathroom. Definitely not a great environment for families with kids. Loud music. People yelling. Dogs barking. Basically, it's somewhere to crash if the other hotels are full... which is what happened to us. Just bring your own bedding and towels.

Experience so bad that we left a day early. Took a few tries to get us a room that functioned and didn't smell like dog piss, but the noise from neighbors kept everyone around up until 7 am. Management didn't even book us out when we turned in the keys. Waste of time and money when it comes to this location. Never had an experience this bad at a Red Roof, so will just keep it in my personal notes to never stop at this one ever again.

This is a: don't touch surfaces, strip linens, sleep between sheets only, don't look at the ceiling, get in late, leave early, only because you booked 3rd party and can't get a refund. In other words: take your $70 and find a mom-pop motel where pride of ownership actually exists. Shower had great pressure.

The bed was the most uncomfortable I have slept on in forty years of traveling every week. The carpet was torn and not cleaned. Two pillows had stains on them and looked like they weren't washed.
