This place needs to be shut down!! We arrived on Friday and stayed until Sunday. We were there for My Way wrestling. Got to hotel at 9:30 pm to find our rooms not cleaned nasty sheets, nasty microwave, no pillows, bedding ripped off with burnt holes through blankets and sheets, no toilet paper, no towels. But wait it gets worse we go to front desk to get a girl and her 3 kids that come to clean it and tell us there is no pillows, blankets, or towels to give us along with we never got to go in room till 11:30 pm. We had to drive to Meijer to buy bedding and pillows. Then to be told at checkout we can give you a 20 percent discount next time when our stay should have been free. It was absolutely awful if there had been any other hotels available we would have gone but do to it being states all were booked. RUN as fast as you can don't stay here they don't care. Not Sanitary we had rooms 203 and 207. No management to make it right. I want it to have zero stars but in order to leave review I had to put one that it doesn't deserve!!

The staff was nice and helpful. The room was similar to the pictures, just not as nice. The room also seemed to have been cleaned partially because the garbage was full and no towels upon check in. There was also no bath products available for showering except soap. It was a nice getaway for the night and besides the few things said we had no issues at all, but if you are looking for something extremely nice for a night, maybe keep looking.

This was literally the WORST hotel experience in my entire 31 years of life, and I’ve been to many hotels. This one is SO run down and grungy. The staff were very unpleasant. The carpet is filthy and has a weird residue on it. When we got into our first room, it smelled like an ashtray. They gave us a new room which was slightly better but still had a weird smell. The whole place smells like weed. They wouldn’t give us a plastic fork when asked, didn’t have ANY hand soap and told us to “just use shampoo”, no toilet paper in the room, and I found what looked like a pubic hair on the bathroom floor. They charged our credit card 3 times and were extremely difficult when we tried to get answers. I will never stay here again. Or probably any other Wyndham hotels. Don’t recommended it to anyone!

You pay for what you get ladies and gentlemen. The general manager at this location is awesome! He is very intelligent and knows the Wyndham system well. As a college student who can't afford a $300/night hotel, the $88/night suited me well, as I only needed to be in Kalamazoo for 1 day. My bathroom had nice/undamaged countertop as well as a nice tub that wasn't disgusting with mold, hair, etc.. Two things I didn't like: #1 there was 3 live bugs crawling on the walls and #2 the lamp shades need cleaning. Hair and dust accumulation on the lamp was pretty nasty.

This place is the filthiest. From the moment we walked in. The lobby was filthy. We had to wait for them to finish cleaning one of the 2 rooms we booked. It was 5:00pm. There were guest who just checked in coming down asking for toilet paper and other supplies. We go to our room and one of the employees even said this is the worst hotel the ever seen. Someone was even shot there. The rooms are a pay by the hour look. Literally, we left after 1 minute of being in there. Absolutely disgusting, I am sure there are bed bugs as well. Do not stay here. We went across the street to a newer hotel, then said we were the fifth person that day from this hotel. Also, we asked for a refund the manager said they would reverse the charges, never did.

The room smelled like an ashtray, trash piled outside other room's doors which was still there the next morning. The light in the bathroom would flicker and sometimes work, sometimes not. Curtains very trashy and dingy looking and only partially hanging. Holes in the lamp shades. Desk chair broken. Coffee maker was missing the tray to put coffee in. When we first checked in the guy at the desk was friendly and professional, but when we returned to the desk to request a different room due to the cigarette smell he said "I only work here". He did give us a different room, but unfortunately it was just as trashy as the first one. At this point we were running late for an event and just dealt with the poor conditions. Otherwise we definitely would not have stayed here! We felt like we were in the ghetto!

This is by far 1 of the worst places I've ever stayed. The room was fairly clean, minus the towel in our bathroom which had something red, resembling blood. The lobby area was more like a hangout area for the extended stay residents (the people that lived there). People had their laundry hanging out of the hotel windows drying. It seemed more like an apartment complex than a hotel. Usually Wyndham Hotels are MUCH cleaner & not a hangout spot. We were very disappointed and will NEVER go to this location again. It was so bad that we're questioning if we'll ever go to another Wyndham hotel period

This was rough. When you walk in your are greeted with the musty aroma of cigarettes and flies circling around the front desk. There were some sketchy looking people hanging around. Go to the room to find stains on our bedsheets. The lady at the desk was kind enough to give us new sheets and let us know if we run into any other issues. But room service either has visual problems or does not care at all. The highlight of the stay was SpongeBob playing on the TV at 6am. The bathroom was a sight to behold as well. Looked like some form of cheese on the curtain. This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

This place has to been the worst! Dirty, smells like smoke everywhere. Garbage as soon as you park. Beer bottles and garbage there all weekend, We had to change rooms, twice no ac / next toilet didn't flush, no clock, microwave did not work, remote did not work. There was no blanket just 2 flat sheets. Breakfast - Only waffles and a few bagels. Not even creamer for coffee. 5 People smoking weed by front door regularly, only 2 towels and 3 hangers?! Il never stay here again! We should have never prepaid!

I later read lots of bad reviews. I, too, was surprised that a Wyndham place was so shabby. Fortunately, I didn't require much. The bed was comfortable and the shower rod did not fall down. Desk chair was broken. Breakfast was over quite early for a Sunday. I thought the clerk said it ended at 9, and nothing in the room to advertise rules, hours, etc. At 10, when I checked, it looked like it hadn't even been there.

If it wasn't for the new second shift receptionist the stay would be hell. She actually cares about her guest well being she strives to make your stay and awesome one and always make sure you have what you need.. she's also kind and intelligent and loves making you happy while you're staying there. If it wasn't for this receptionist they probably wouldn't have no business so I recommend this person to receive an excellent pay grade and hopefully a promotion. Thank you for coming on board at Baymont East I hope you I hope you never leave. And they only have two cleaners who enjoy their job. Thanks Tiffany and Stephanie for a job well done. The management is poor and racist, not a hotel for the urban community. Lack of respect,

Absolute trash- do not book. I did not feel safe, so I actually booked a different hotel for the evening and ended up double paying, rather than stay here. Incredibly run down property, dirty, do not waste your time. If I could, this review would be -10 stars.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! We ended up switching rooms thanks to the young men that work the desk at night, they were absolutely awesome! The first room had mold on the floor, bugs in the tub, no blankets sheets only no towels. Serving room had no blankets, urine in the toilet bugs on the floor and in the tub. The third room was not all that great either but a lot better than the other two. We had to bring our own cleaning supplies to clean the room. I pray that next year when I visit again I won't have to stay here, just ridiculous.

Low cost is a great option when you only spend 6 hours in the room. Unfortunately, this price range comes with a population a long term residents. It feels like you are staying at a homeless weigh station. This place is really due for an update to continue to support travelers. No breakfast. No cups in the room. Half the TV stations did not work. The savings does not justify the property; it is worth staying elsewhere.

Room smelled absolutely terrible and fridge did not work. Sheets and pillows were visibly stained. Asked to be moved to a different room. Second room was worse than the first. Water damage and peeling ceilings. However, manager was very nice when we asked for our money back.

Physical property is falling apart. I’ve seen swamps with cleaner water than the pool. When we checked into the room,The couch was broken and had dead bugs in the tub. We went back to the front desk and asked for our money back. Bay mint should pull their franchise.

TV doesn't work. No toilet paper in the room. Took over 2 hours to get toilet paper. Not even a trash can in the room. No laundry room for the guests. Big mistake! Never again. Will be checking out today instead of staying here till Tuesday.

This Baymont inn is similar to my other Wyndham experiences in regards to the facility, I was happy. The area seems very safe, the building is nice, and the rooms are decent size. The carpet in my room had a weird stain (spill) by the door, but nothing that altered my usage or overall opinion.

Great staff but horrible hotel. We saw roaches as soon as we came into the room. We reported it to staff and was reassured that a new room would be safe. The new room was much better but as we looked around we saw that the mattress looked like a crime scene happened on it. The price is good but trust me, spend the extra $20-30 on another location. You’re welcome.

Booked a room for two nights. My girlfriend name was listed as sign in guest. Upon arrival Olivia turned her away and cancelled the room. She was too incompetent to find her name as the sign in guest. Wyndham assured me it was there . Iwas able to recoup my points but my card on file was charged $70.71. everytime i call im told no manager is available yet they tell Wyndham my card wasn't charged.. BS.. so needless to say this hotel is a low level dump. Don't get caught up dealing with this drug infested place. Im now having to go through channels get my money back.. Test assured i wont stop because id literally rather flush that money down the toilet rather they scam my card!!!!

I do not recommend this one!!! We booked a non-smoking room but there was a strong smoke smell in the room we were first given. The person at the counter said “Ya, our rooms are all non-smoking but people do as they please”. They seem to have no system in place to keep that from happening. I don’t think they care. Asked for another room and the key didn’t open the door. Asked for our money back and were told to call Wyndham and speak with the manager. We went to Sleep Inn 10 minutes down the road for a good night.

Very shabby condition. Only sheets on the beds, no blankets or bedspread. No trash can. No coffee maker. No toilet paper or facial tissue. Noisy. Heater only blows cold air. Smells dirty. Never again!

If I could leave zero stars I would. We changed rooms 3 times. The first room we walked in and the lights didn’t work, & there was no LOCK on the main door. The beds in the room has hairs, boogers and stains. The second room, there was SOMEOME AND THEIR WHOLE FAMILY. The third room; main light didn’t work. Bugs on the walls, floors are soft about to fall threw. Never will be staying here again. The heaters / ac in all room smell like their gonna catch fire soon. Sad and disgusting..

I was there for family weekend for WMU. I would never stay here again. The place is filthy, smelled all weekend of weed, there were domestic fights both inside and outside of the hotel, had barking dogs, and outside doors either didn't lock or the keys would not work. Stay at your own risk.

Place does not look like the pictures that were on the website. Looks a little ran down on the outside and a little on the inside, weird smell in the hallway but tolerable! Room is okay! Didn’t have much issues: couch looks sunken in & my air conditioner cover was broke and on the floor when I walked in but air worked AMAZING! I had an iron but no ironing board. Didn’t have a lot of plugs in my room, so glad that I packed my extension cord or I wouldn’t have been able to plug in all my items. Loved that it was right off the expressway for me, especially after driving over 2 1/2 hours to get here. Loved that it was also only 7 minutes from the conference destination that I was attending!

I had an issue with the card I used to reserve my room. Thankfully the properties general manager was working the desk that night and he was incredibly helpful. He made sure the issue got straightened out and that I was able to get my room . Very welcoming and customer oriented. And the room was in decent shape despite the repairs going on at the property.
