We are here for a week. From the time we checked in our experience at Anchorage and Kalbarri has been positive and pleasant. The sites are large, grassed and well maintained. The amenities are excellent The park has a relaxed atmosphere and is well cared for. The river is across the road as well a beautifully maintained park with a kids playground. (We found all the green spaces in Kalbarri are well maintained). It is a short, flat walk to the beach and the town. We made a point of having coffee at a different coffee shop each day... sharing the love!! We went to IGA, the butcher, the bakery and more. Everywhere we went the service from the locals was second to none; helpful, friendly and polite and at a time when there are lots of staff shortages. We also encountered a number of locals who were happy to chat, give some local tips and keen to hear our story. Thank you Anchorage and Kalbarri, you have been the consummate hosts.

We stayed for a week in our caravan, big enough sites. Really good drinking water from mains water. The shower block was great, very clean and newish. I didn't have to crouch under the shower head to get wet. Shower head was about 2m height from the floor. Bloody great. Right next door to the park is a beaut cafe called. The Gorges. Great breakfast and coffeeeee. 👍👍👍

We stayed at the caravan park on a river front site. I loved the site, it was a short walk with the kayak to the river. The ablutions were clean handy laundry and camp kitchen. The only reason I didn't give the site 5 stars was due to yapping dogs 🐕

We loved our stay at Ancourage! Best caravan park in Kalbarri….beautiful views of the Murchison. Walking distance to shops, clean bathrooms and great amenities. I highly recommend it!

Very helpful and friendly staff on the phone when booking. Site was very clean & green. Beautiful location right by the river. Cafe next door and a few shops. IGA a short walk. (Opposite end of town to medical centre was only 30min walk) Amenities were good and always clean. Camp kitchen was enclosed with plenty of tables. Think there might’ve been an issue with one of the 2 cooktops. One night live music was available and great night was had by all. Site was always very quiet by 9pm. Pool was well maintained (but cold in May!😉) Really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of sites available end of May. Had to take our awning down first 2 days due to very high winds and rain. Other than that weather was lovely.

Fantastic place to stay. Grounds keepers keep the place so tidy. Lovely hot showers, clean toilets and great laundry facilities. The camp kitchen looked great too. Beautiful pool area and a Cafe next door for food and cuppas.

We Are very happy to provide a review for this park The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Your wonderful workers on the grounds were tireless and ensuring that everything was tidy and clean. This includes the facilities. Kalbarri is now probably our most favourite place. So much to see and do. Fantastic!!!

After a break for a couple of years we arrived back to discover new facilities. The showers, toilets and laundry are clean, with good hot water system. Good shade cloth on site to keep sand down that is vac blown after each visitor . The camp kitchen and outdoor shaded sitting area is large and works well. Recycling of bottles and cans and rubbish are cleaned away twice a day. We lucked a great spot overlooking the Murchison River. Close to bottle shop Cafe and fuel. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Kalbarri, but not the Caravan Park. 1 - The site we got give was on a slop, not good when you have an 41yo van, surely it's not that hard to level out sites, and the sullage pit was up hill to out site, so we could not use it. 2 - We got put behind a very young family, both nights we got woken up between 1 - 2.30 am with there baby crying, goes on for 30 plus minutes. Then both mornings the kids are up at 6 am running around screaming, playing, parents not bothering to try and keep them quiet. Maybe you need to put all the young families together, away from people that like a nice quiet night sleep and a bit of a sleep in? Everyone should be allowed to enjoy there stay, and a lack of sleep, was not enjoyable for us. It's a shame when you get a reply to your comments from the Park Management and it makes no sense at all, our site was right next to the toilet block, we didn't complain about that at all.

Lovely family orientated caravan park with clean facilities and the river literally across the road. The wind can be strong in the afternoon so be sure to make sure tents awnings and shade is tied down properly be for setting of for the day. Within 30 minutes of all of Kalbarri's tourist attractions (naturals window, Kalbarri skywalk ect)

First time visiting Anchorage but loved it and would recommend to everyone. Great location and park was clean, tidy and well looked after. Reception was friendly and helpful, overall good vibes at the caravan park - felt safe and comfortable.

The lady in the office (not the owner) needs a lesson in customer service and how to communicate politely over the phone. Not only did they put us on the wrong site we had to move the 1st day out of our 3 because there were regulars booked on the site they put us on. Then the site we were to be moved to there were people already booked on it… SO RUDE and no Organisation !! when discussing with other guests they laughed and said we were not the 1st to complain about this particular employee.

One of our favourite stays along the Coral Coast - Anchorage is a great spot to park up and enjoy Kalbarri! The caravan park is clean, safe and well-maintained. We felt very at ease and found some awesome, laid-back company. Great location!

What a great little hidden spot just on the edge of the beautiful Kalbarri. A lovely caravan park with great facilities, very friendly staff and beautiful views of the Kalbarri water. It felt so safe and really enjoyed the overall vibe of the whole site. Would stay again!

We’ve been coming to this park for years and it is still the best caravan park in the area! We absolutely love it. So clean and well maintained, friendly staff, awesome facilities. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a great stay. Always so fresh and Beautiful green grass everywhere, parks for all ages of children, friendly smiling staff everywhere you look. Cannot fault it. Such a credit to the managers. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, the surroundings are beautiful and well maintained. Very well run park with fabulous views !

Very beautiful and scenic caravan park. You have incredible views of the river from your campsite. All you need is within walking distance. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The amenities need a little TLC but still clean.

Fantastic park perched right on the Murchison river with clean, plentiful facilities including a pool and situated right next door to easily the best cafe in Kalbarri town! Staff were super friendly and accomodating also! ☺️ Have stayed here three times in the last five months it’s so good and can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you.

Beautiful caravan park. Cleanest facilities we have been to. Spotless and new. Gorgeous view. Big sites. Kalbarri is lovely small town This caravan park is highly recommend

Stayed 5 nights here at the lot facing the river with my family for the school holidays and we had an awesome time. The caravan park itself is clean and big. Customer service from the front office to the gentlemen mending the ground were very nice, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Kalbarri Anchorage Caravan Park to anyone vissiting here and if the drive is not 6 and a half hours long I would absolutely come back again.

We stayed 1 night. The reception closes at 6 pm. The bathroom was clean, but deserves the renovation as well as the kitchen area. Walking distance to shops and just across the road from the boat. Paid $42 -2px /per night

Loved this place. Easy access to the beach and river walks. Big sites, excellent ablution bock and camp kitchen. Everthing you need in walking distance. Ideal base for tours as well as just being not doing!

Great camp kitchen, hot showers, lady hostess at front desk very helpful, nice tidy caravan park. Despite some people posting personal vendettas I recommend a visit to this park. Enjoyed our stay.

BEST location right near the water, CUTEST cabins, with a stove top & all cooking needs. LOVELY (& patient) staff that genuinely made me feel cared for. Enough beds to house a family in cabins! Yet still feels spacious…. HOT showers & able to do Laundry! EASILY 10/10 Avocados 🥑

Beautiful grassy shady site we stayed at over Christmas NewYear period 2023 Grounds staff keep the sites tidy and watered. They also don’t mind telling those doing the wrong thing the park rules Will definitely return to this caravan park again

It was our 3rd time staying there and would defenitly book it again for our next Kalbarri visit. Amenities are clean / nice sheltered BBQ area / short walk to the beach / amazing cafe nearby. Better wifi would be a plus - but we don't mind a bit of online detox.
