Well-worth the 2hrs drive from Ubud to come here for sunrise dolphin watching! 🀍✨ Seeing them up close was such a magical experienceand I can't believe it cost less than $10sgd?! (Booked via Klook). If you want to support the boat driver directly, you can WhatsApp Gede at +62 813 3729 7472. Meet-up was 6am near Lovina Beach. Sunrise dolphin watching only cost $62,000idr and it's $70,000idr with snorkelling. Don't forget to tip the boat driver! It means a lot to them coming out of the pandemic 🀎

If there is anyone telling you the beach is nice in Lovina... ufff i dont know... we have done whole Bali and in general, Bali is not about beaches, but Lovina is faaaaar faaaar from place that you "must" vist because of the beach... if you want to see grean nature - lovina, if you want to see waterfalls - lovina, if you must go dolphin watching and chase the poor animals with another 30 boats.. okie.. i am no greenpeace but this is not how you want to watch them. And everytine they go above water there are 5-7 boats with full speed ahead so again those poor little animals are back in water hiding... But back to the beach... ufff.. full of boats, dirty, full of ppl trying to sell you something, and more dirty ....

Pretty beach to watch sunset and sunrise. There are several fishermen boat. Although it is a famous tourist destination, it’s not as touristy as beaches in the south of Bali. You can still relax and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. You will meet some locals who will offer you dolphin tours.

Very nice, clean relaxing place really liked it there. Nice beach safe for children. Can go out to see dolphins early morning and see the plankton glowing in the evening. Some nice bars and restaurants there along with some well priced hotels I like My Lovina Hotel very close to the beach and restaurants. Nice drive through the middle of Bali, stop off at the lakes for lunch.

We really enjoyed our stay on the beach. The sand is black and there are no waves due to there being a coral reef out to sea. So it makes for easy swimming. I would suggest that you wear sand booties as there are urchins deeper in the ocean. We snorkeled and saw small fish with lovely coloring and lots of coral. The coral is scattered with pretty colours. Don't expect a spectacular vibrant reef... it's not that. Just keep an eye on the boats chugging past you. Give them a wave. One of the restaurants on the end lets you use their canoes if you have a drink there. There are shower spots on the way to clean off before heading back. We had rain which lasted 30 minutes and got hot again. It isn't a large wide beach, so if you want that, this is for you. The beach restaurants have beanbags to sit on the beach. So that's lovely 😍

the probability to meet the dolphins is like 95:5 according to the boat operator. and ofc i met them. and theres also a tourism code of conduct applied near the enterance, anyway if you wanna meet the dolphins please follow the code of conduct so the dolphins will be there until next and next generations bcs it is a conservation area.

Quiet beach but not with white or golden sand. There are a lot of shops and food places around if you are looking to relax on the beach. Swimming in the sea wasn’t best experience as the water was grey on the day we went.

This is for Lovina the beach 🏝️ There are several toko’s where you can buy street food and some stores for accessories. In the middle of the square there’s the statue with a dolphin 🐬 on top witch is nice. The beach itself is black and not so clean like a lot off places in Bali.

Black sand beach. If you have enough time then only you can go this place to see the black sand. It’s very rare. We went to see the sunset and it was really good experience. You can take boat ride to view dolphins 🐬

Lovina was amazing especially with our private guide Popeye. He brought us to less crowded area so we could catch the dolphins up close😍

Spent 3 night in Lovina beach. It’s really nice and quiet with few tourists in November. The beach is awesome for snorkelling and swimming. Since there’s so few tourists the locals selling things on the beach was really intense. They are quite relentless and were unfriendly when having to say no to them regarding buying their products. Overall it’s super cool here, just a bit too intense pressure from locals at all hours of the day.

My experience at Lovina Beach was nothing short of magical! I booked a dolphin tour with a knowledgeable guide, and it turned out to be an unforgettable adventure. As the sun began to rise, we set out on the calm waters, and soon enough, we were surrounded by playful dolphins. Seeing these incredible creatures swimming alongside our boat and even witnessing them do flips was a breathtaking sight. It felt like a scene from a dream, and I couldn't help but be in awe of the beauty of nature. The tour didn't end there; we concluded our day with snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Lovina Beach. Exploring the vibrant underwater world was the perfect way to cap off an already remarkable experience. Lovina Beach truly offers a unique and enchanting encounter with nature. If you're ever in Bali, I highly recommend booking a dolphin tour here for an unforgettable and magical experience.

The beach is a little small and there a lot of tour boats with your guides constantly asking you to see the dolphins.

Love the beach. Feel very sad that during our visit there were almost no activities by locals and tourists due to pandemi restrictions. We hope Bali will return.

Quiet village in December very hot. Tourism is based on non eco dolphin bothering bit like a circus no education no giving back to dolphins. Tourist should make it point to ask about this before supporting it. Snorkelling tour to Mengingan Island was highlight.

I have no idea why but there seems to be less tourists here than usual which means that the few that are here are constantly plagued by touts. Before I had parked my scooter I was told that in this spot I need a ticket for parking and a guy pulled up beside me to ask if I wanted a dolphin tour. Within 20 mins on the beach I was asked if I wanted to try mangosteen by one, dolphin tour by another, snorkel by the next, sarong, massage... I think there were 8 tourists that I counted. The beach is pretty average but it's about 40k for a cocktail on a beach beanbag so not bad.

Although very peaceful with a beautiful scenary it's a little run down, I was hoping for a lunch of fresh fish. Unfortunately the only fish meal I could get was fish and chips or a fish curry.

Snorkeling in Lovina is exceptional ! Not only you will see the dolphins but you might also cross Whales. My experience was unforgettable and i recommend to go at Sunrise and stay until 9am to see all the marine surprises 🐳❀️

Chasing the dolphins and swimming with clown fish in the morning. Take a boat with the local fisherman. Heading to the spot where the dolphins appear.

Great hotel for family fun Near the beach and any swimming pool At the evening we had enjoyed sunset with a music and had dinner near the beach The hotel room is comfort and completed amenities , ( balkon area, coffee and tea, hairdryer, refrigerator). At the morning before sunrise, we can see the dolphins using a boat and the ticket for it can be bought at the receptionist hotel (on the spot for buying ticket).

Clear water but doesnt look blue because of the dark sand but the beach is so great. The wave is calm so definitely not for surfing but you can bring kids to swim here with no worries.

Great beach with plenty of parking spaces available. Best to visit during sunset & the highlight of my visit was the ice-cream stall near the carpark area. A much needed refreshing break.

Located in North Bali, famous with the dolphins, Black/Grey sand, the air temperature is a bit hot during the day. That's a little characteristic of Lovina Beach. But this place is very quiet and safe for vacation. Very easy to get all kinds of food, especially seafood as my favorite, there are many choices ranging from salads, fish soup, fish satay, grilled fish, fish peppers, and other various seafood dishes. Everyone I met was friendly. For me the most important thing of all is that the standard of cleanliness here needs to be appreciated because it makes us feel comfortable.

Black sand beach in the Northern side of Bali, the place for dolphin. You can rent a boat to go to the sea to see the dolphin. Usually they appear in the morning.
