The service here is horrible. I had placed a pickup order and the woman on the phone was very snappy and rude. We got there to pick it up after the 15 minutes (that the woman specifically made sure I was going to be there at) and I had to wait and extra 10 minutes. The bar and dining areas were not busy either. The brunette at the bar had my card with her for the majority of that time while also being snappy with me. The food I received was disappointing. One of the items was completely incorrect and a sandwich only contained a chicken patty and cheese. It's obvious that the staff is neglecting their customers.

Came here because of the reviews . I ordered the fish and planks. The fish came out cold and raw. I had to ask for silverware. When I told the waitress about the food, she said "what do you want me to do". She said I'll just pay for it. I said that's okay but what about the fish. She said oh, you want that too? Uh. Yeah, I would like to eat! I would NOT recommend this place. Horrible service! The waitress made me feel like I was putting her out. The coleslaw and fries were tasty.. Once they brought my fish out, it was finally cooked, it was pretty good. Wont go back though!

Never been before but really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The pasties with signature brown gravy were excellent and very affordable. We also had the clam chowder which was different then we are used to but was full of tender plump clams. I would definitely eat here again.

The pretzel dipping sticks were really yummy with a strong mustard sauce but it’ll start to get overkill. The huckleberry lemonade was super sweet and I loved it. The pub steak was cooked to medium rare but it seemed more like rare and we needed to add a lot of salt and I would of rather had wings but they didn’t have any.

I felt a bit like I was inconveniencing the staff because they were so busy! Food was great and service was good for only having two waiters. But the food is hard to enjoy when you feel like you should be helping out.

Four adults (all of whom had good experiences at Brannigan's multiple times previously) showed up at 4:00PM on a Saturday when few customers were there. That was intentional. While walking right by staff in the upstairs portion of the pub with a one-year-old we were ignored. When I inquired about a high chair I was told in a blunt, unfriendly manner that there were no high chairs or booster seats anywhere in the building. We left and we won't be going back. Adults and young children accompanying them DO go to establishments that serve alcohol. Brannigan's apparently doesn't see it that way. There are plenty of competitors that do. Brannigan's lost a minimum $100 meal and drink tab, and we tip at least 20% when in a full-service establishment. The place was almost empty when we arrived. We were happy to go elsewhere, where we received a nice welcome and superb service with a smile.

This was a fun little pub to visit as a family of 5. Our server was very attentive and entertaining. We shared the pretzels and Guinness gravy and pasties…delicious. Had my first Irish Bloody Mary made with Jameson which was good. I’ve only ever had it with vodka and Guinness so I got to teach them something. They had a great beer line-up but unfortunately I believe 6 weren’t available. Fish and planks were great. Didn’t love the chowder or Tartar sauce.

Great food, really reasonable prices for food and drinks! The outdoor space was dog friendly for our pup.

Great atmosphere, Great service!! The food is awesome! Beer is cold, What more can you ask for? The shrimp au gratin is stellar. Clam chowder is great, come here the next time you're on a date.

Brannigan's is a great spot in the limited night life and eateries of Kalispell. It is always clean and the service has been friendly. The upstairs area has great seating options for groups of friends. The pasties are very tasty and fit a good budget when paired with a strong dark beer! Cheers!

I am 4gen IA (Irish-American) and the first time I went there I was "embraced by the place" it felt like home. I joined in songs I have known for years! The food is Ahhhhmazing..and the staff are fun and prompt! Please go visit..enjoy!!

DO NOT GO. Food, 5 star, maybe? we think. Horrible wait on Thursday night, 70+ minitues for a salad, 1 sausage & a chicken sandwich. We cancelled orders, walked out & went to Wendy's. Only about 75% tables full. A singer in the corner? Huh? 96 degree day, 80+ inside. Good server - not her fault. Would only recommend if you bring your lunch to wait.

We stopped in here on a whim for a quick lunch before leaving from our vacation. What a gem we found! First, the staff was fantastic. Obviously long-time employees who enjoy their job and are on good terms with the owner. Then, the food! Homemade soup options that are delicious! I had one of the best burgers I've ever had. But the real secret is their fries. We have NEVER had any this good. No joke. Not sure of the secret but don't substitute! The decor is upscale and beautiful and well-maintained. What a great end to a lovely week in Montana.

It took just under an hour from ordering to get served sandwiches at 7:15 on a Thursday night. When we got them they weren't hot, fresh or good. Probably because we were initially served the wrong food and when she returned it to the kitchen we got our food that had been sitting around unclaimed. Atmosphere and beer is great. It's another classic story of understaffed - one waitress, one bartender and two kitchen staff . I'd wait awhile before eating here.

We were just in Kalispell one night on our way back home from Glacier National Park, and had dinner here. Pretty good pub fare, I had the banger sausage sandwich which was tasty enough and my husband liked the brisket grilled cheese. Service was rather slow, no doubt because of staff shortage like every other place these days - so not gonna fault them much for that. Our server was nice, but had no knowledge of the wines they carry - I know, it's a pub and wine isn't the focus there, but it would probably be good if she knew what the house wines were.

1st time going here. We met up with others for St. Pats day and had a lot of fun. Live music was great but the music started with older 70s-80s rock, which wasn't bad, but I'm glad we stayed for the last band, who was fantastic! Beer is good, quick bartenders which were amazing AND friendly. Went inside for food... Not too sure what it was. The gravy tasted funny. I was told that it was Guinness beer gravy. (Not too good) the meat, we were told was beef but I'm not convinced.... We will visit again soon to try the mystery food. Hopefully I'll remember to take pics... Have a great day.

We love Brannigans - upstairs bar/restaurant area! Food is always great! Their cottage pie is excellent, as is the wedge salad, prawns & planks, fish & chips, I can go on! Our favorite bartender is Annie, she is the best, treats you like family!

The food was fantastic! Bangers and mash…phenomenal! The authentic taste and the pasties will have you coming back for more. Pair that with the cold beer selection and I could spend a whole day in there tasting it all.

On vacation stopped in for a meal. Food was fantastic, I had the hamburger and fries with had the Mac & cheese!! Service was excellent, live band on a Thursday night. Fun place don't miss it.

My family and I love this place. The food is amazing. Shrimp tacos...Huckleberry sandwiches...soup, flathbreads et. just a really nice variety for literally a few dollars more than McDonald's The owner is phenomenal and extremely charitable to the community. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Just simply good people! An absolute gem of a place

We came across this restaurant and loved the atmosphere. We sat down and we’re greeted immediately by Ben. Awesome personality ( which is so rare these days as we travel the country) and he took such good care of us. The food was so good. Honestly we could have stayed for longer to enjoy more time there but we had our dogs in the car. We highly recommend this place and when you go… ask for Ben. He also cooks too if needed .😊 Had the Corned Beef based on his recommendation… fabulous! Thank you Ben

Service is good, not enough wait staff so the service can be slow. The food is worth the wait though. Good drinks, good people, night atmosphere 👍 We sat upstairs, warm by the fire. Note to Manager/owner Time to redo the seats in the chairs, I'm a tiny person and my butt goes through the thin seat "cushion". Add a board across the bottom and more cush and it will be much better. I had the chicken wings with a side salad. Very good with leftovers. My girlfriend's split the Reuben. Always a great choice. I've enjoyed their meatloaf, a burger and stew before and it's all been good.

We showed up on a busy Friday night and sat in the bar. The atmosphere and our server was very pleasant. We ordered food only, no drinks other then water. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. It was delicious, then 2 minutes later our food showed up.....COLD. I got the meatloaf dinner. The veggies and potatoes with gravy were not even warm but cold. While the meatloaf was hot and delicious the others fell par. We are from out of town and saw online that the food was great and locals love and recommended you. Our experience could have just been a fluke.

Our appetizer was undercook and doughy (onion rings) the main dish was not seasoned and bland. The waitress after dropping off the food never came back. She did not ask if we needed refills and we had to ask for the check.

Brannigans is open for dining-in as well as carry-out. Ate there yesterday and I was glad to have my old faves again. So yummy!

This place is amazing! We are traveling to all the national parks this week, and were looking for someone playing the UFC and they were extremely accommodating and have the best service. The food is also amazing, we tried several different things and everything was delicious!

Fantastic! The locals know this is a great place for dining and beverages. The place was packed. We wanted to get some trout before we left the area. Every part of the plate was perfect. Trout, green beans (done to perfection), rice pilaf and I got a salad. Center St and 1st St Kalisoell MT.

My family and I have been here several times with subpar results. The service has always been slow and the food was mediocre, at best. This past Friday we decided to give them one last attempt at redemption. The result ended in one of the least enjoyable experiences we've ever had at any establishment in the Flathead area. The waitress/bartender was very rude and had a bad attitude as soon as we walked in. We waited 20 minutes at our table with not even a glance from the waitress for any chance to ask for drinks or an appetizer. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Unfortunately, we have decided not to return...that was the final straw.

I've been to Brannigan's many times and it's always good. I had the Balsamic Crunch salad tonight and it was excellent. I'll be ordering that again. I've found Brannigan's to be very consistent in terms of drinks, food and atmosphere. It reminds me of home.

I lived in Kalispell for almost a year and travel through Montana for work. Typically when I have a poor experience I dont go back and of the hundreds of reviews I've done nationally, I've only given a handful of one stars. -I tried Brannigans AGAIN after an absolutely turrible experience the first week I moved to the flathead. I didnt go back. Almost a year later I returned because of the beer selection and a friend's request. Miraculously it was just as bad. Inattentive service, an expensive menu and Nickelback on the radio.
