I almost never write bad reviews for small businesses, but this was...not a great experience. I'm honestly floored - I expected it to be good, based on other reviews/photos. My friend and I each ordered a half sandwich on sourdough, and we both got extra mayo. Both of them were completely soggy and the bread was falling apart. We ordered at the counter and then ate in the car in the parking lot, so it's not like they were sitting for a long time. It was not a typical fresh sourdough; honestly, it tasted, looked, and felt like white bread from a bag. I had mashed avocado on mine too, which made it even soggier. Like, I could feel how soggy the bread was through the paper it was wrapped in. I cannot express how soggy these sandwiches were. The ingredients were falling out all over the place, too. It genuinely seemed like it was the first sandwich someone had ever made, LOL. It was like a sandwich you'd make for your worst enemy. IMO, extra mayo does not mean *half a jar of mayo dripping out of the sandwich*. Also, it should be a crime to charge $3.50 for a cup of KRAFT MAC AND CHEESE. You can see in the photo - that is unmistakably Kraft (and it wasn't even that cheesy). The veggies/meat/cheese were fresh and tasted fine, and the staff were very nice. I liked the latte I ordered too and my friend enjoyed her iced tea; I'd just stay away from the food here if I were you.

Brought my family friend and we just loved the friendly atmosphere and wonderful service! Tasty food—great place! Wonderful selection of pastries with good portions, coffee drinks, smoothies and fantastic sandwiches! A must try if you are in the area! Something for everyone—gluten free options available as well.

Wheat Montana is a great lunch spot with friendly service and good food. My wife had a grilled cheese and cup or tomato basil soup. The grilled cheese sandwich seemed a little lacking but the soup was really good. I had a pulled pork sandwich, chips, and a side of Mac n cheese. The pulled pork was great! The chips were also a hit with everyone. The Mac n cheese kinda looked like boxed Mac n cheese but it's been so long since I've had it I can't tell you either way, that being said it was still good. Finally, the chocolate croissant was phenomenal warmed up. If your looking for a good lunch that has hot/ cold sandwiches and great pastries this is it.

Good food and nice service. If you're looking for giant cinnamon rolls then this is definitely your place. They were fresh and tasted great. Coffee was fine. Breakfast sandwiches were good (made fresh to order).

Each time I come I’m happy with the food and service. Their cinnamon rolls are giant and delicious. The breakfast sandwich was hot and perfect. I love their local made Montana products and gifts. A truly unique find!!

I absolutely love Wheat Montana. I order from doordash probably every couple days at least. The cream cheese cinnamon rolls are amazing! The sausage pepper jack croissant is amazing! Their sandwiches are amazing. The drink menu is good, I can get a latte and something to eat. And today I ordered half a sandwich and I got this. It made me smile. I was having a little bit of a rough day. Thanks for the smile guys! I 💙 WM!!! And of course, I'll be back.. in a day or two. I gotta come in to the store someday.

This is our favorite place to go for breakfast as a family. Try to get there early for the best selection of flavors of their cinnamon rolls. Their bear claws are also amazing, the savory croissants, muffins. We bring in a big group and it’s never an inconvenience. We’ve also done their holiday ordering and love it. It’s very easy to call ahead of time and order 6 or more cinnamon rolls. All the workers are very nice and accommodating and the owner is just a lovely lady.

Great spot for breakfast & bakery. Ordered the bacon egg cheese on croissant and hit the spot. The huckleberry bear claw was the real sweet deal! Def recommend walking away with one.

Reuben was fantastic!! French Dip was great. Cinnamon roll was superb as was the Huckleberry bread pudding 🍮 Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere was very nice for us Tennessee tourists!!! 😉

Great selection of FRESH pastries, sandwiches, coffee, various types of wheat in bags, and a few gifts. Food is always delicious and you can tell its made from scratch. Pastry oferings in the morning are fully stocked and dwindle toward end of the day, but there's always something tasty to order. I had the oatmeal with blueberries & almonds and it is always delicious. Coffee is always spot on and smooth. The Farmstead sandwich is amazing. So tasty!

Used to be one of our favorite lunch spots up until recently. We ordered two farmsteads on everything bagels but received two soggy bagels with only ham on them. In the past, the sandwiches came with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and dressing. When I came back to ask for it to be remade, the girl working said, "that's what you ordered" and didn't help me further. Quite disappointing considering how helpful the staff once was and how good the food used to be.

Good food. Their big belt wrap is really really big. Thats enough fuel for a long hike. Bagel sandwich was good, I would have like my bagel lightly toasted. Very decent Coffee.

Opens early so you can pop in and grab a coffee and fresh made pastry before work. They make an assortment of breakfast, lunch and snack foods from their own flour. One of the better places to grab coffee on main street. They do call-in orders and pick up. Seating is available inside out of the cold (A blessing in winter). They offer 2 dollar bread sales once a month from their fresh made bread. They sell a variety of honey as well. I highly recommend the Rueben sandwich for lunch. For pastries, the chocolate croissant is simple and yummy. The cinnamon buns are fresh and big enough to split for two people. I recommend the one with cream cheese on top. There is a single bathroom for each gender so you may have to wait to use the rest room. The facilities are clean.

Saturday I ordered a pick up order on toast. Which it let me place the order and charge my card. When I went to go pick it up that day the restaurant was closed. I called and left a voicemail letting them know when they opened to disregard the order, gave them my name and asked them to refund my card. This morning I got an alert saying my food was ready for pick up. So I had to wait to call again on my lunch today. When I spoke with someone she told me because I never picked up they threw my food away. I asked her if they had not received my voicemail her response was to go ask her manager what to do. She put me on hold and when she came back on the phone she told me that toast tells me the hours so they are not at fault. I then asked her so what It just is what it is and I am out my money? Her response was yeah basically. The level of bad customer service I have received in the last week around here is so sad. I am never rude or ask a lot. But be respectful. I will never take my business there again.

Have hotels and send people there. Not anymore! Food was horrible. The one thing I can say is the sandwich was danm good. Stay away from anything else. The kraft Mac and cheese was sick 😫

This place is so hit or miss. The only thing that is consistent is the bakery and always great customer service. The cinnamon rolls are the best in town and so fresh! I have came here on several different occasions in the past few months to which I have been over charged every other time. On time I ordered a tuna melt and a cup of soup which the total was $17.50. Goodness that is extremely expensive for what I got. Seems employees are trained differently when it comes how to ring up a combo meal even though the prices are listed right behind them. Something to watch out for. This last time I ordered a side of Mac and cheese to find out it’s Kraft!! If your going to sell Mac and cheese and it’s Kraft, at least put it on the kids menu or specify that it’s kraft. They charge $3.50 for a side when I can get a box of Kraft for $1 at the store. Really disappointing. I have also ordered coffee on numerous occasions a simple vanilla latte. Each time the coffee tastes very different. Again just another thing to improve on for consistency. I want to love this place so badly but I never know what experience I may get.

Very cute place! Lots of cute soaps, stickers, honey etc. We got a pulled pork sandwich, a turkey sandwich, and a cinnamon bun. The turkey sandwich was good, but drenched in sauce. The pulled pork sandwich was extremely cold. The cinnamon bun was huge, but very dry. We would definitely choose another place for lunch next time.
