Long queues at the checkouts are a thing of the past at Biedronka on Wojska Polskiego thanks to the introduction of self-service tills. Each time I've been in recently, there has always been a self-service checkout available. Also, Biedronka has its own version of Actimel, called 'actiplus'. It comes in a range of flavours and costs a fraction of the price of Actimel. I haven't seen an own brand probiotic drink anywhere else.

I bought bread by the number the lady at the cashier saw that I couldn’t speak any polish so she just wrote 10 pieces although I only got 7, I tried to tell her but she started shouting so I just left the place.
