I would say it's odd, but in the bad way. I stayed shortly during day and it's ok for that. Price is way too high around 100 eu for single room. Strange thing there is no shower in the room, but there is hairdryer. They even mention that in they general info booklet. Even this is centre of the city, road railway and bus station under your window so it's noisy. I would give that hotel 2 stars but for relativly good internet this time 3.
The solution is poor, no reception. Breakfast was great. Hotelrooms had very minimal design but very clean.
*Bad beds. *Towels smell bad on arrival. *Dirty doors in bathroom. (Have pictures) *Breakfast not good. *Lot of noise from street, not good isolation. *Cold bedroom. *nobody to assist after 16:00 *Good... location. Only because have to work close its the only reason to go there.
Depressing although within walking distance of Gamla Stan. Notuch to see or do, and the hotel is right across from the train and bus depot.
Overall a good experience. Nice, clean rooms - basic but what you need is there. Best location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. A bit inconvenient that one cannot enter the building without having a PIN code that is shared around 3pm of the arrival day, and that reception could only be reached by the phone during the daytime (although, as mentioned, personnel was responsive and ready to help).
Very good price-performance ratio. Opposite to trainstation, but it's quit enough. You get what you pay for, not bad.
