The modern look of this art museum is a very interesting addition to Kalmar. We went there during an ongoing renovation so we were only able to see a single exhibit but with a very generous souvenir. Hoping to see it again next time with more exhibits.

The exposition was awful, however this review is of the museum itself; confusing and maze-like access to different gallery areas and no smoking allowed in the toilets - hold on, there were no toilets or smoking - that was just part of the expo. Elevator +1 star!

Really love this museum! I could spend hours here alone in the library where they have tons of books featuring modern art from everywhere. Their exhibitions are also really provoking and interesting. Entrance is free for those 19 years and younger... So I will be coming back!

A beautiful and informative exhibit with friendly warm and welcoming staff. We visited while not many people were around and were impressed with the items on display and the entry fee was affordable.

very interesting exhibition about the sea! Good mix of old and new stuff from a few different artists. Definitely a nice place to see some local art!

Very good. Typical yet appealing postmodern musem architecture. Focus on local art, which can be great if done for the right reasons. A total gem in the region.
