We came here after hearing some good recommendation but got rather disappointed. Service was poor to an extent that I would call rude. Staff was super unfriendly. Especially the sushi chef who had little interest in making customers welcome. The tables and chairs are all old and shabby. Wasabi is dispensed from a plastic syringe! Strange... Food was average and sushi was made with a huge lump of rice to stuff you full. The whole place is school in the summer. No class.

Great Sushi restaurant. The small but beautifully decorated restaurant is highly recommended. All the dishes we tasted were delicious. The ingredients are fresh and of excellent quality. The food is well presented and fairly priced. As is common in Japan, the kitchen and chefs are placed in the restaurant in such a way that you can always see them preparing the food. It only gets 4 stars because the restaurant does not have its own parking and you have to look for parking on the main road, and also because of the opening hours. The restaurant closes also on weekend days already at 21:30, which in my opinion is too early for such a popular restaurant. The food and the atmosphere deserve 5 stars. We drive all the way here from Zurich because it's definitely worth it! Important info: You must call and make a reservation!

Good quality sushi, friendly service and fair prices. The place is a little cramped and does not have very many seats so be sure to make a reservation.

The best sushi and yakitori I have ever had in Germany. The dishes and the atmosphere in the restaurant are so authentic. I will be definitely coming back again in near future.

Here is my non experience at this establishment. My family and I were not allowed to dine in during lunchtime because we didn’t have a reservation. One of their waiters said we needed a reservation but clearly they had at least 4-5 tables that were clearly empty. I also thought the waiter was rather rude in our brief conversation. Furthermore, patrons entering in any Japanese establishment are greeted with a welcome. I guess in Europe, this place has forgotten how to say, “irrashaimase”.

Thank you Google for leading us to this brilliant place. We highly enjoyed our dinner in a cozy and calm atmosphere. The Katsu curry had a notable mix between sweet and spicy. Next time we come for sushi!

Sushibar Tatsumi can easily be called the best sushi bar in Germany. You are first greeted by the Japanese oriental design of the place. The vibe is really nice. Lots of tiny details that shows great care. After thAt, you order. They have lots of varieties and lots of Japanese plates and drinks like Kirin. I ordered the Ramen, and I instantly felt like in a Naruto movie. I ordered the 2-person sushi plate with my GF. The first thing that you notice is that the plate has a well balanced variety. However, what really sets this place apart is the quantity. I rarely go to a sushi place, and find the amount overwhelming. The plate was more than enough, and it was super tasty. The only issue you might face is that, it is a bit hard to reserve a place, especially at the weekend. Book in advance. All in all, totally worth it. 10/10!

I really liked Sushibar Tatsumi. I went today with my cousin to try their Sushis. The Sushi was good and the young waitress was kind and very polite. Her behavior made me feel like im back in Japan. Especially considerate that she wasn't japanese (i guess german). We both recommend this Restaurant... but it's a must to reserve. The Aburi-Shake (Nigiri) was very delicious!

I travel regularly from Switzerland to Germany just only to visit this restaurant. And everytime it is always worth the trip. The sushi is maybe the best around Germany and Switzerland.

Top-notch Sushi. Not so much variety, but what more can you ask for in Germany. Very friendly waiter. Small yet cozy place. High tech toilet was fun.
