Once
a
very
good
practice.
But
now
they
shine
there
with
incompetence
or
a
lack
of
specialist
knowledge.
I
waited
9
weeks
for
the
appointment,
only
to
be
told
in
the
changing
room,
based
on
my
information
in
the
questionnaire
at
reception,
that
they
weren't
sure
whether
an
MRI
could
be
carried
out
because
I
had
a
prosthesis
(tympanoplasty)
in
my
ear
made
of
pure
titanium).
My
implant
passport
was
available,
so
the
nurse
was
able
to
read
the
manufacturer's
information
sheet,
which
was
available
in
the
practice.
Still
doubts
and
no
MRI.
I
should
ask
the
surgeon
whether
an
MRI
is
possible
or
not.
The
obligation
to
provide
information
clearly
lies
with
the
practice
and
not
with
me,
but
that's
good.
When
I
called
the
clinic
where
I
had
the
prosthesis
inserted,
I
was
met
with
a
lack
of
understanding
because
all
the
data
was
available
and
the
doctor's
office
could
act
accordingly.
The
manufacturer's
website
also
clearly
states
that
this
prosthesis
is
MRI
capable,
up
to
7
Tesla.
In
the
doctor's
office,
1.5
Tesla
is
used
for
this
MRI.
I
then
passed
on
this
information.
The
nurse
on
the
phone
first
said
that,
in
principle,
an
MRI
would
not
be
carried
out
on
a
prosthesis
in
the
ear,
whereupon
I
asked
why
that
was
the
case
if,
according
to
the
manufacturer,
there
were
no
concerns.
The
nurse
then
became
very
unfriendly
and
simply
hung
up.
So
I
called
again
and
asked
Dr.
To
speak
to
Apolle-Kaufmann
personally.
Of
course,
I
only
succeeded
after
countless
attempts.
Then
suddenly
the
nurse
says
I
have
an
appointment
and
they
have
checked
the
documents.
An
MRI
wouldn't
be
a
problem.
Nevertheless,
I
wanted
to
speak
to
the
doctor
personally.
But
she
was
in
a
conversation
and
I
should
call
again
later.
I
then
did
it
in
5
minute
intervals
and
then
they
said
the
doctor
was
now
out
of
the
house.
A
joke!
So
I
asked
that
the
doctor
please
call
me
back
when
she
got
back.
Well,
she
didn't
call
me,
but
the
nurse
did.
The
doctor
checked
the
documents
again
and
no
MRI
could
be
done.
I
am
now
being
sent
home
the
check-up
certificate,
a
list
of
other
MRI
practices
and
the
euro
I
have
already
paid
for
the
CD
and
told
to
look
for
another
practice.
You
can
clap
there.
Thanks
for
nothing!
