My first experience with an Ethiopian food and I'd say a good one. Traditional breads were awesome and I loved the beer :) There're Ethiopian gin also, so keep it mind if you are into cocktails~ There're not so many tables inside, so be sure to make a reservation in advance. I also heard there're live music sessions every week, that might be interesting to check out also.

Great food, friendly service. They have live music during dinner time. The course set is around 3,000 yen, but the quantity of food is generous. This was my first time to have Ethiopian food, and although I cannot vouch for the authenticity, everything that was served was delicious!

We reserved this place for a team get together including 10 people. We ordered the course set of around 3000 yen per person with one vegetarian set. All the dishes served were quite delicious and seemed healthy with a vegetable mix. The vegetarian set included falafel in the starters and two dry curries: a mix beans and a spinach potato. The set dish is a combined one feeding 4 people from one. This cuisine is eaten with hands. Their specialty is the Injera, a sourdough flatbread. Our set included a pudding as the dessert along with coffee or tea.

Delicious and seems very authentic. Service is also good. I recommend the course menu. It is between 3/4000 yen but it is quite a lot of food! Course includes salad, samosa, grilled meat, main course , dessert and coffee/tea.

It was my first time to try Ethiopian cuisine, and I was not disappointed. We tried different items off the a la carte menu and it was all delicious! I can’t eat hot spicy food due to a medical condition, and the lovely lady serving us took lots of time to show me what was good for me to eat. They also cooked the chicken to order for me to make sure it wasn’t hot spicy. Overall everything was lovely and I 100% recommend this lovely little restaurant.

I'm not in the habit of reviewing restaurants so this happened a long time ago and it just occurred to me. I accidentally knocked over the water, so embarrassing, half of my body was soaked. A stuff quickly brought me a towel, helped me wipe the water, and checked whether I was injured. She was so genuine and so wonderful. Thank you very much! By the way, that thing that looks like a towel roll is very delicious. If you don't know what to order, I recommend you to order the set meal for 2 people. My friend and I spent 5000 yen for two people.

Amazing Ethiopian restaurant with beautiful African decorations and delicious food. It is better to choose a set in order to try various items , the price is reasonable compared with the quantity and quality of food served.

I never expected to find an Ethiopian restaurant in Tokyo. The food is wonderful, and the staff is very knowledgeable and makes good recommendations! They seemed to know exactly what order would be best! I recommend visiting as soon as you can!

Had dinner here on a Friday night with colleagues. We ordered the A, B, C Ethiopian stew sets and they all tasted delightful. The sets included Ethiopian coffee with rue leaves, so good. They had a live music performance as well. Really nice atmosphere.

3.5 Good cozy vibe - somewhere to go when you fancy something more exotic / different in Tokyo. Went on Fri evening as a group of 4 and the place was full (glad we booked in advance). Went with the traditional set which was <¥4,000 pp and decent amount of food. The recommended set is not as much food so choose depending on your appetite. Having had Ethiopian food before the food was ok (have had better injera/bread). That said it's good costpa for a rare cuisine in central Tokyo (there's another Ehtiopian near Jiyugaoka).

First experience in Ethiopian cuisine: Let me give you a brief overview and experience about the menu. They have three options of curries chicken based, mutton based and vegetarian curry yeah they have vegetables only curry. Let's explain the taste of Ethiopian cuisine with the flavor level of south Indian cuisine. In the vegetarian curry they have three curries on the two are lentils curry and a cabbage curry. The two lentil curries are just a less flavor version of Indian dal without tadka. Cabbage curry is just a smashed version of cabbage with turmeric. They are a spinach curry with potato. I'm a vegetarian I have not tasted non-vegetarian recipes but they are chicken and mutton curries with less flavor compared to Indian curries. They have chicken and mutton kebab but they are kebab with salt and black pepper. One good thing I liked is the fresh juice option of banana and strawberry juices. About ambience and service: The Guy in the restaurant can speak English and the ambience was good with Ethiopian culture and art and drawings. Keep in mind it's not a budget restaurant but if you want to try some Ethiopian cuisine you can try over here. One more thing, food is really healthy.

Not too bad, not really my cup of tea. Was interesting, my first time to have African food. I wasn’t really a big fan of the tortilla type thing. Otherwise it was all right, once us enough for me.

Simply put, great food! We came here on a recommendation by an African friend and oh yes, it is delicious and very authentic! Will definitely be back! Make sure to eat with your hands and not cutlery
