We saw Peppers cafe on a Paolo from Tokyo video about Tsukiji Market. Being American, there is pizza everywhere, so one might not think of getting it Japan. The pizza was handmade, able to be customized and was delicious! We also ordered the peppers cola drink and it was insanely good and a new experience for us. The owner lived in the US for a bit, so we were able to chat for a while. The atmosphere, the owners and the food they severe is awesome!! We even bought pepper to take home, I can’t wait to try it in so many things. Thank you for the great food, conversation and your passion shows in the food you create!

Hidden gem in an alley way, this cafe is still famous amongst those who know them and is crowded when we went there. ☕️ coffee was okay, across our drinks nothing really stood out (tried both hot and cold and mocha too) 🫑 the pepper that he let us tried was good, but we couldn’t find any use for it so we opted not go buy packets of them for ourselves Friendly owner and a good spot to have a morning coffee to start your day with!

Watched Paolo on youtube introducing this place before our trip to Japan. My boyfriend found it when we strolling tsukiji market. The owner, Otetsu-san is very humble and used to living abroad so he is fluent in english. We tried their coffee, it was good but we were too full to try their pappers pizza. We got so lucky he let us try their papper. We will definitely come back next time to try their pizza and cola~

This place is a hidden gem and could be easily missed if you get lost in the crowds of Tsukiji. I'm glad I remembered to go back and try to find it when it wasn't so crowded - just look for the signs, and you'll find your way easily. Unfortunately did not have enough room for food, but I was most interested in their handmade cola. It was so good, with all the right spices! I liked it so much, I bought their syrup to make it at home. The owners were super friendly and easy to connect with. I enjoyed the chat we had while warming up from the cold. Definitely would like to visit again, this time for the food.

Wondering around Tsukiji market we followed signs for Pepper’s Cafe and got the chance to enjoy some good food and laughs. The owners welcomed us in and we had the chance to experience the amazing food they have to offer. Don’t miss a chance to stop by here, you won’t regret any minute of it. The owner’s expertise is using peppers to compliment any food item you choose from his menu. Michael and I decided we wanted to order some pizza’s. Any combination you choose to create your pizza ends up coming out delicious. There’s so much more I want to say, but you have to come by and experience this wonderful local spot for yourself. Put it on the itinerary!

For all travellers that is super jetlegged - Tsukiji is great since everything starts to open 7am. And if you would like something a bit different than the rest of the shops that sells seafood - try Peppers Cafe. The owners are condiment sellers turned cafe owners. They still do sell condiments but the cafe business is additive due to the fact that people can now try and buy. The standout is 100% their fresh pepper that is marinated in salt. They use it in the pizza and some of the drinks they serve. We had a great pizza and 3 amazing drinks. Highly recommend.

Tsukiji Peppers Cafe is a hidden gem in a bustling market. We wanted to visit after seeing them on Paolo’s YouTube video. The owner made us feel right at home with a warm and comforting atmosphere. We loved how personal the experience felt and enjoyed talking to Tetsu. It was nice that we were able to practice our Japanese although they do speak English as well. We recommend also grabbing some peppers to take home after getting to sample the fresh kosho.

Found this cafe while planning my morning trip to Tsukiji Market, and what an excellent find it was! The owners are super friendly, the cafe itself is charming, and the breakfast set was a steal. I got an americano and the cheesy egg toast for just ¥600. I don’t know if I’ve had a smoother americano! And the toast was delicious—especially with the raw pepper on it (that you can also purchase a pack of!). Definitely stop by Tsukiji Peppers Cafe. It is well worth your time :)

Excellent egg and cheese on toast. One of the best I've ever had, if not the best. With a coffee it is 600-650 yen, which is stunningly good value and you won't have to wait in line like some of the other stalls. The cafe is tucked away in an alleyway but well worth searching for.

The owner is super helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to enjoy delicious drink and food pairings that is unique to this cafe. Looking forward to trying the other dishes and drinks that pair with or use pepper.

My wife and I thought this was the best pizza or near the best that we have ever eaten. The place is tucked away from the main walkway in the Tsukiji market which meant there was no line when we arrived. I don’t know how long it will stay a secret. We had the pizza with the mayonnaise sauce and it was superb. The Tsukiji lemonades are purple and delicious.
