Groped by the wait staff. Seriously, it was a nice experience until one of the drag queens grabbed my crotch, and also physically wouldn't let me leave when I expressed discomfort at this behaviour. I am a regular visitor to Ni-chome. I won't be a regular visitor to Campy! No way in hell. It's only two steps up from grope to rape, and it's not acceptable behaviour from anyone, regardless of their age, gender or sexual orientation... Having discussed this with other people in Ni Chome it seems that Campy! has quite a negative reputation around this issue. Please avoid.

Drinks are quite expensive and basic. The bar is small and the interior design is colorful but not great. One should go there for the theme, it's a transvestite bar. All the staff is men wearing women clothes and way too much layers of make-up. You'll find an ambiance there that you can't find anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and willing to meet new people, both the staff and other customers could become your friends after a few drinks.

Staff friendly to me as a Japanese speaker. However one staff very pushy with drink orders, pushing menu forward every 10 minutes. 900 yen per drink plus tax and unexplained 1000 yen seating charge - which wasn’t written anywhere. Looking at other reviews others state no charge, looks like I was scammed. Two stars for hospitality.

Very rude and inattentive, at least to foreigners. I was handed a menu, which doesn't list their drinks by the way, just the base ingredients they have, and glared at until I ordered and then was pointedly ignored, even when I left.

This bar is so small. If you're lookinng for a bar to sit and chill, then this place is not for you. They only have cocktail rables. The place can get very crowded. For the drinks, avoid mojito. Their mojito was really sweet (it feels like drinking pure sugar).

Fun little bar. Not sure why it’s had so many negative reviews. There were three staff, the bartender and two drag queens, all made us feel really welcome. Had a great time here

Drinks were good, you pay upfront. Not much seating room: small bar, then couches cost 1000¥ to use. You also have to keep ordering drinks (they will push the menu at you), probably to control this seating issue. Fine for folks who can drink a lot, tough for lightweights. Wish there was audio with the k-pop music videos they were playing on the monitors. And of course, the staff all look fabulous!

Great fun and a great place to meet some Japanese people even if your straight like us. Didn't mind paying 900 yen for drinks when the atmosphere was so lively and we were so welcomed by the hosts!

I really liked it here me and the bf had a great time. The two drag queens were lovely they talked to us and made us feel welcomed. The lady bartender was also very lovely and inviting. I know they don't know much English so thank you so much for trying and communicating it made our nights!

If you are foreign they will ignore you. Don't bother even if you are dressed well. It is completely different to what it was a few years ago.

Love this place! My friend and I stumbled on this bar in Shibuya, it's at the basement of Parco! Bomba Sachiko was there and she is amazing. So fun to talk to, gets everyone talking and singing together. Met lots of really cool new people and sang karaoke with them! No cover charge like a lot of the bars in Shinjuku and free karaoke! Buy her a drink, she works long hours!
