Cant forget this place. It was an art competition concerning the conservation of our environment, (Sheraton made me go green)in conjunction with the Jane Goodall foundation. I was among the winners of the art competition which was for the primary schools.we went on to climb the famous mountain rwenzori and did meet the bakongyo pygmies.I will never forget this experience and it all comes back when I do visit the Sheraton Kampala. Thank you Sheraton and do keep the light shinning.wondering though,do you still have such programs running? They do have an impact, say permanent impact on individuals and society.Thank you once again.

It was an awesome experience, the meals were fantastic, the staff behaviour was good and professional . Excellent service delivery. Need to also commend a security staff Eva, she does her work and checks on lodgers excellently. Her attitude will want me to always come back. As the Most Famous Twins in African Tourism, will rate the facility 5/5

I spent ten day at this hotel .Extremely fantastic and serene environment, great food and very welcoming staff right from the front desk to breakfast, lounge and rooms, Belinda and Jane are doing an amazing job at the breakfast buffet, faith was extremely caring in the lounge, very humble, Costa at the pool would go out of his way to make my son enjoy his swimming lessons with Mahad and Vincent , Margaret would do an amazing job in cleaning up our room. It felt homely . Will definitely return .

Good place for Cake lovers. Good place for photo shoots. Food definitely not the best compared to some other nearby places where you can get sumptuous meals in great ambience at pocket friendly prices. staff show attitude mostly because they are like permanent staff who had stayed there for long like furniture.

Breakfast is nice, quality of the food is great. Service in the executive lounge is outstanding, both morning and evening was super friendly and highly professional. Rooms are nice, getting slightly old but well maintained

The Sheraton Kampala is an all-in-one hotel as it has everything you need. Arriving very early in the morning I was impressed to see how friendly and welcoming the staff were at that time of the day. This was also a reflection of the staff throughout our stay. My room was beautiful, spacious and had everything I needed. I also had an excellent view of the gardens below as well as Kampala in the distance. The hotel has a mini-cafΓ© in the reception area with a pianist playing on most nights, the Equator Bar (which I have reviewed separately) as well as a restaurant, so most of your dining needs are catered for. We had breakfast (hot & cold buffet style) as well as dinner at the restaurant and all the food was very tasty. It can get very hot in Kampala so it is good to know that they have a big pool with a life guard on duty. At the pool area there are also some pool tables and table tennis tables as well as a bar, so it is the perfect place to relax and blow off some steam. They even have a modern gym as well as some shops inside the hotel. Overall I had a great experience there, except for the one evening when they had a live band at the hotel which was very loud. Luckily the music didn't keep on playing too late into the evening. If you are looking for a place to stay in Kampala, give the Sheraton a try, you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed 8 days hospitality here. Worked hard so did not exploit all the amenities, but the place was comfortable. The room always clean. The windows are not totally sound proof so road noise can affect sleep quality for light sleepers. Otherwise, the attention to detail was amazing. The kitchen is competent and efficient. Delicious meals serving after serving, generous portions. Room Service round the clock. Staff courteous and pleasant. I highly recommend it. Only draw back was the Seven Hills Restaurant. It was so drab and almost seemed as an afterthought. Doesn’t match the rest of the hotel at all! Needs an upgrade ASAP. Every other nook and cranny was top notch. Will definitely be back now for some R&R. That Spa must be visited Some Indeoendence Day Cookies on my final night made me smile

Located in the heart of Kampala, Sheraton is one of those places you go to and would not like to live in due to its scenery, good services and privacy. The Hotel offers a wide range of services and these will live you marvelled. The atmosphere is very wonderful and this is accompanied by the well-prepared continental dishes that are served in style.

Everything from the service to the food was superior. All the waiters and waitresses plus the manager at Marriott conference hall were very good to us today at my sister Faith's wedding to Ronald. Thank you guys, most especially the guy who gave us the paper bags and foil, your service was exceptional(I'm sorry I don't remember your name but you know yourself)

It is a fine establishment right in the middle of the city center. Place is quiet, calm, very serene. Very spacious.offering the perfect avenue to cool off when unable to go out of town. Excellent ambience. Good courteous staff. Very proffesional. Excellent food. Kudos to the Chef and his team. Also has lovely conference ball rooms, with adequate lighting and public address system. Has the famous Sheraton gardens, very spacious and beautiful ideal for photoshoots and wedding photography

On Easter Sunday the Sheraton Hotel organised their first kids bake off competition. It was good fun and promises to be repeated. I enjoyed the Easter brunch. I particularly liked the salad bar - and desserts - but local food was also on offer. Included in the brunch menu was a glass of sparkling wine, live music and activities for the kids such as bouncy castle, face painting and a clown. (What is it with kids and clowns? Love them or hate them? One small child ran off bawling her eyes out. Quite hilarious!) It's been a year since I visited the Sheraton and I was under the impression that they have fewer staff than before. No doubt this is because of the pandemic. All the staff were helpful and courteous however.

ALWAYS amazing and helpful staff across the property. From the security who welcome you, to amazing front desk staff, to lounge team, housekeeping, and all the dining staff I always feel appreciated and welcome here. Rooms are great and functional, a little bit dated, but no complaints. The property is secure and safe. And food is always good, especially the breakfasts, Dinah was always welcoming with a warm smile as was the rest of the team The spa has a great menu of options and had an amazing massage from Saluwa.

I've been to Sheraton a number of times and last week I was there for a 3 days conference which reminded me to give my review. I've also been there for fun events in the fresh gardens. Their service and food are great. I haven't encountered any problem while there.

On 25 December 2023, I came to Sheraton Hotel in the morning to have some nice Christmas hours. I had breakfast which was quite nice. Then I wanted to sit in a quiet place and get to work on my laptop. Unfortunately, I ended up sitting in a corner on the floor where the shops are. I asked for a chair and I still wanted to order for hot chocolate. I was promised several times that someone would come and bring a chair but unfortunately this did not happen. And as I sat there, I was increasingly disturbed by children running around and shouting, while it was so nice quiet there. Those children are not corrected at all by their parents or Sheraton staff. I find them incredibly disturbing. In the end, I left crying. I still went to the manager to ask how come nobody takes care about me. But he just stood softly mumbling his apologies and said it was a busy day that day and for the umpteenth time was told that the next time I come they will give me a better experience. While that has been said to me about a hundred times but again that did not happen today. To make matters worse, someone also came running with the bill. This always makes me feel like they think I am leaving without paying. I also just had to pay full price while this is yet another unpleasant experience at Sheraton Hotel. This really wasn't a nice Christmas for me

This property is being run by Constellation Hotel & Resorts and a franchise of Sheraton Hotels. Rooms give you a feel of really old hotel. Room didn't have a tea maker but was given when asked. Very compact washroom. Breakfast is exceptional specially because of the courteous staff. Entire staff at breakfast restaurant are so cooperative special mention to chef Emmanuel who treated us exceptionally by cooking traditional Indian stuffed parantha for us. It also has a beautiful Garden which can rejuvenate and upheal your energy.

I had a great stay. Well taken care of. The hotel has: - huge garden with grass area, perfect for picnics - several restaurants - conference center - gym - spa centre - tennis court - large pool and pool pavilion There are a view Currency exchange bureaux near the hotel. Surrounding area relatively safe as I could walk around without feeling uncomfortable. Just watch out for Boda Bodas

The best part of your stay would be courteous staff at the restaurant and bell concierge. The staff at reception needs would get a 2 .5 star from me. The property is great with its views location amenities pool restaurants etc but I had a few hiccups at the room which they should have sorted before allotting. Overall you cannot go wrong here as a business traveller

Went twice recently as was meeting someone there at the Park Sqaure Cafe in the lobby. Would not recommend it at all. The 1st time I ordered an Ice Coffee with a scoop of Ice-cream. Not sure what they served but it was utterly hopeless and not an iced coffee for sure. 2nd time I went I thought I would play it safe and I ordered a Lemon Iced Tea and they served me room temperature water infused with lemon in a pot. No ice, no tea. My associate ordered a Latte with Soy Milk which had to be returned. I rarely write such a review but this was remarkably and abnormally bad for any place let alone such an establishment. The ambience as always is great.

This place does not deserve the brand. Its service quality is below 20k local motels. The managers are scared to show up when customers call for complaints. They hide behind theirs staffs like chicken. They never show up. Not even worth one star. The food here is really……really….. just order chips if you really need to put something in your stomach. That will be the best choice.

This was not my first time going there - have been there several times. This time, we were hosting a breakfast in their Ballroom - I arrive at 6 a.m. to check and ensure everything was OK. Tried to use the toilets but found the place locked. On inquiring, I was told it is only opened at 7 a.m. ... uhmmm ... The Ballroom was set up well enough but had not been cleaned. I had to ask for someone to come and clean it. Someone did come but did not do much cleaning. Each time we would move a table to locate it better, there would be a mess under the table ... Their food was good and the gentleman assigned to help us was very friendly. The location is in the centre of town and easy to reach but can be a hustle during peak traffic hours. I did not visit the rooms.

One of the very old hotel in the centre of Kampala. It served Kampala's elite as well as a good bunch of foreigners who used to travel to and stay in Kampala for business and other administrative purposes. It also houses a large number of international conferences including Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. The facilities are adequate. Rooms are spacious. It always maintains high quality of services. The communication is very easy from the hotel to anywhere in Kampala.

The rooms are comfortable, the food is great, the Club Lounge is a very nice retreat, but most of all the staff are universally exceptional

Loved this place, the ambience , their menus. This place is amazing for dates and friendly outings. I like the quality standards they try to maintain and their prices are a little bit above average.
