When they say the meals are BIG, they mean it! My current favourite dish is the chipotle chicken salad: grilled chicken, lime flavoured rice, sweet corn, avocado on a bed of lettuce. Served with bread rolls and butter. Almost couldn't get a table at 7:00 p.m. on a Friday during Ramadan. Wow people were eating! Carrot cake is best I've eaten in Kampala. I nearly had tears after being away almost six years, and what better place to enjoy my first breakfast after such a long time with my son and niece but Café Javas. The breakfast was awesome. Though I am Muslim, I wasn't even worried that I didn't ask if it was Halal. The staff were all great serving me with such professionalism and above all friendly and all with a mile wide smile. I couldn't have asked for me.

Traveled to Kampala last summer for 2 weeks and we went to Cava Javas twice! The food was amazing. I’m gluten intolerant in the states but for some reason I can eat all the gluten in Uganda. And that I did! Everything I tried here was so good. The restaurant is great at accommodating large groups and has excellent service. There is also a terrace that overlooks a beautiful park.

First things first. This place obeys the curfew time. Their service is great and the food is nice. I like the pizzas, however, the pizza sizes are smaller than usual. Medium pizza is actually a small Pizza. The prices are high-end too. The steak was just tin slices of beef, not sure if I'll call that steak but it tasted nice. I would say the steak combo is not worth it for the price. You can get lots of food options and drinks here too

They have a beautiful nature green garden where one can sit and relax. It's available for photoshoots at no cost. Newly wed can use this venue to take pictures for long memories

The workers are so kind and nice. The room is wide enough both outside and inside, and it has a lot of tables and chairs. The dishes are nice, especially the pizzas. Also they offer breakfast. They are only 25,000 UGX. It is so close to Acacia Mall. I like the location as well.

They have these kids customised menus with puzzles.... keeps the child busy while you wait on your order, very nice touch. I also found the service turnaround time very fast, the meals well made and an overall great dinning experience.

I don't like potatoes with skin. After communicating with the manager, they refused to change them Each time the potato was completely abandoned I hope can make a reasonable exchange

After my lunch at Meza,we decided to take the cake at Cafe Javas,it's located down the street. The service was friendly and approachable,the place was full but we managed to get a seat for two because the waiters were in communication with each other...we had the Oreos milkshake ..it was the icing on the cake 💞🥰 I will most def go for more Thank you Cafe Javas kamwokya

Normally, the food gets 5 stars. But the pizza doesn't meet the pizza standards I've tried in the States or in other countries. The service was great, from the greeters to the server. However, management seems to avoid interacting with the guests. They don't look at the guests, don't speak to the guests. The managers should be more friendly when compared to staff. Management is the business. As management goes, so does this business. Despite the great server service, management knocked off a star.

Have always loved their food . However , yesterday my order had “issues” and was replaced immediately I raised the concern . Thank you. A few months ago ,I reached out on phone to make an order for a birthday cake and the lady picked my calls twice and hanging up on me . I decided to use the WhatsApp line where I reported my concern before I could even talk about my order and she immediately called back apologizing. I felt that was so unprofessional and such persons such be oriented on how to handle clients.

Guys, boiling pasta in tap water is disgusting. I had a feeling of eating all the elements of Mendeleev table while consuming the product. Moreover it is so harmful for health. And where is al dente? It has to be cooked in the correct way. Nice atmosphere, but how about nice food?

Great place in Kampala where you can have a good meal. Served rapidly. You are also given tokens to use for the free internet browsing. It's very crowded in the evening. All the nationalities can be found there. The food is very good especially in terms of quantities.

The location is a very good one. The staff are somewhat friendly, and they’re definitely helpful. They could use a little bit more customer care training. Thankfully, none was rude as some people tend to be—oblivious that they’re running a business. The food is good, but seems to be overpriced. Nonetheless, my friends and I had a lovely brunch.

It's okay. I think they cut down on the waiters since it takes a while to get one to a table. But they are respectable and food comes almost immediately after you place your order.

Hello there. I ordered for a caramel milkshake but got a vanilla milkshake without any caramel.

Great customer care by the attendants/waiters. Great food. Average juice. Something weird is that less than a year ago their juice was a 7. Now? It's fallen to a 2. My opinion. Great milkshakes. Great cake. When it rained, the rain was reaching where we were seated. Waiters tried to help us but there was nothing much they could do. Generally though, with all my past experiences, it's a 4 star or 5 star experience on good days.
