Great show, very interesting to watch. Were at the show on Wednesday, it was dedicated to the dances of different regions of Uganda. Not sure if it's about modern ugandan music, but it is absolutely about peace and cooperation. Excellent work of the presenter, humor and work with the audience. The show starts at 7pm and runs until 10pm. The cost for foreigners is 90 thousand Ugandan shillings, for local citizens 45 thousand, a children's ticket costs 25 thousand. There are two breaks in the middle of the show. The first one offers dinner for 50 thousand, the food is varied and tasty (chicken, goat meat, a lot of vegetables and local dishes). Be careful, there are often traffic jams on the roads in the evening, come early. There are shops with souvenirs and paintings. Highly recommend. And get ready to dance.

I have a meeting at this place and its my first time. Love the African theme of the place. Its very quiet and good for business meetings. They have a conference hall where meetings can be held. A Restaurant that serves both breafast and lunch. Cave Arena stage for their performances.

The Ndere Center is serene, filled with lush greenery and immediately one enters the premises a sense of ease washes over them. The meals served are excellently cooked and given in extravagant portions. I had the cocktail juice(Mango, pineapple and watermelon)The juice was thick to my liking with no added sugar. I enjoyed the atmosphere; very helpful staff.

Hand down the best cultural performance in East Africa. If you visit Uganda you must come to Kampala and see this show and hear awesome drum performances! The buffet dinner is very filling and a full cash bar is available with drinks! Not only is it a great evening out, you are supporting a great cause when you attend; furthering these talented children’s educations!

Where do I even start. If you're ever in Kampala, this is a MUST to go to place. You actually learn alot about the Ugandan culture. Don't even get me started on the show. The performance was top notch and very entertaining. The ladies can shake their waste as if they have no bones. The staff are very friendly. They have a buffet with a wide variety of Ugandan meals.

Good architecture... Traditional design with a lot of simplicity. Ample space for parking. Also provides a variety of plant spices with many different colors that provide a relaxing atmosphere as the sound of traditional drams and other traditional instrument sounds are being played with in the area. The service here though is very slow. It needs to be checked and everything will be mzuri sana

Located on a 9 acre piece of land, the biggest within the city and the only one populated with indigenous forest tree enjoying ample tree shades, ample parking space and unique cultural performances 3 times a week. They have a great kitchen ad restaurant, a bar, cafe, huge open gardens for weddings and other parties. The performance theatres are very big and elegant for your social gathering. Be there

A great experience with entertainment and food. It was great for the the whole family. Everyone from 5 year old to adult enjoyed the show. Just be prepared drinks are not included in price. The MC was funny but would be nice to tell more things about uganda to understand more about the dancing.

I visited Friday 23rd/2/2024, Great ambience, staff are welcoming, ample parking space. This is a great place to enjoy and experience the rich, diverse & colourful cultural dances of Uganda. It is prudent to ask and clarify how much entrance fees cost as prices vary for different people. I found food and drink prices a little steep, so I settled for snacks, which surprisingly were served warm.

A fusion of dance, poetry and art delivered in the most masterful way by the most experienced team. Mr. Rwangyezi has mastered the art of delivering his masterpieces, crafted from many years of studying and being immersed in the Ugandan culture. This was most definitely a night to remember. The team and I had a great night. You don't have to take my word for it. Come see for yourself.

I lack words to describe this show. FYI, I'm not even white 😂 The Burundi drums are so majestic, these other tribes' performance are even better. I loved the Ankole performance; there's a guy who sorts of raps better than Busta Rhymes. Oh, did I say the buffet was great? And VERY cheap.

Amazing preformance of cultural instruments, music and dance and specific parts of Uganda. 3 hr long show so he prepared but the dances and drumming is incredible. Price is a bit steep at 80,000 Shillings for Foreigners with the option of adding dinner for another 40,000. But the preformances was incredible so it was great to watch.

This is a gem under construction and the place to appreciate the rich culture of Buganda. I loved the detail and art exposed there. We went to relax and have a good meal. 6 adults 2 kids. Simple order too almost 2 hours, and to make it worse the pan fried pork dish was chewy and inedible. The rest to food was quite tasteless save for the nice chapati. Zero apologies but very quick with the bill! Next time, we will probably eat out and only attend the cultural show.

If you are into dram’s & traditional dance and music, the Ndere Troupe at Ndere Centre is a must visit place in Kampala. It showcases dances from many of Uganda’s tribal groups with high-energy. It is an out side seat amphitheater. You should go there for only the cultural show not for the food.

It's worth paying a visit to see the traditional items from the Ugandan tribes for instance the pots, kalabash, chairs to mention but a few. At the entrance your greeted 😃 by the security guards who are happy to guide you to the reception area. It has a garden for events including weddings, graduation and birthday 🎂 🥳 celebrations. Make it a point to visit 🤸🤸

Very Nice show!🤩 The show was a mix between cultur and comedy. The host of the show includes the audience and asked where we were from and told story’s about your home-countries. He was very funny and the dancing and singing was very beautiful. Overall a very nice place, the only negative thing I can say of the place is the price, 80.000 for foreigners, but I will 100% recommend it.

Daytime visit. The gardens, painting exhibits and pathways are very beautiful and well kept. Interesting was that its huge covering several hundred meters but there are tables and chairs everywhere. I saw four widely separated groups of 2-4 people having business meetings out in the fresh air. Despite the long distance from the cafe the staff were serving drinks and snacks over the vast outdoor areas.

  • 5/5 Aceasinace 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful stage. World renowned dance troup showcasing incredible music, costumes, tribal culture, instruments and dances from around Uganda with a hint of Burundi. The talent is just beyond. Very inclusive show, you don't feel like (just) some tourist sitting in your seat at an exposé. Prepate to be asked up on stage in the end😁Food is worth the money with a lot of healthy and vegetarian options. My only complaint would be the host taking a little too much of the show - he could change his routine up a little.

We've been there for a show representing different peoples of Uganda. It was fun. Tables stay on the amphitheater like levels. Drinks and dinner are offered. The scene is round with a beautiful tree in the center. Very nice example of harmony between nature and art space. A line to buy tickets before the show was quite long.

Waw , wonderful, you cannot visit Kampala without visiting Ndere cultural center, traditional cérémonies, dances from all regions of Uganda, you can travel in time and space over the whole country. Good food during the dinner also. I really enjoyed.

Located right at the kisaasi Ntinda northern bypass, easily accessible, has ample parking though the service is really terrible! If you are not a patient person, don't eat their food, however, the food is not bad. The scenery is good and the place is quiet for a peaceful hangout. It is where Rotary and Rotaract club of Kampala Naalya fellowship from on Tuesdays from 6 - 8pm.
