customer
and
I
import
and
export
products
almost
daily
through
UPS,
DHL,
FEDEX
and
EMS.
UPS
is
a
company
that
I
trust
unfortunately
due
to
its
massive
size,
the
services
through
3rd
party
service
providers
are
going
to
the
dogs!!!!

I
shipped
a
package
from
Vienna
Austria
to
Kampala
Uganda.
Fantastic
job,
it
arrived
at
Entebbe
airport
(
Uganda)
within
3
days
and
the
recipient
was
contacted
about
customs
payment,
she
immediately
shared
her
tax
number,
waiting
for
the
assessment
to
pay
customs.
This
didn’t
come
for
the
next
3
days
although
she
always
contacted
the
UPS
employee
who
contacted
her
on
a
daily
basis.
She
was
always
told
to
be
patient.
On
the
4th
day
(
totally
7
days
since
shipping
was
initiated
in
Vienna)
we
tracked
the
package
and
read
that
it
had
been
disposed
off!!!!
We
immediately
contacted
the
customs
office
in
Entebbe
who
located
the
package
having
been
released
from
the
customs
without
paying
duties
and
the
value
attached
to
the
items
deleted!!!!!
After
3
weeks
of
calling
any
contacts
we
knew
at
the
customs
office,
the
recipient
was
paid
the
duties
+
handling
fees
and
got
the
package
herself.
To
our
annoyance,
for
the
last
2
weeks,
the
package
tracking
read
failure
to
deliver
and
disposed
off
but
after
the
recipient
worked
her
way
into
stopping
her
package
to
be
STOLEN
by
the
UPS
employee
called
Raymond
in
Uganda,
she
got
it
by
herself
from
the
airport
yesterday,
now
the
tracking
has
sent
me
an
update
reporting
the
package
to
have
been
delivered
today!!!!!
I
have
been
calling
and
emailing
customer
service
offices
for
UPS
Austria,
Uganda
and
USA
without
any
support
or
refund.
Delayed
success
only
came
due
to
our
contacts
in
the
revenue
authorities/
customs
office.
Otherwise,
Raymond
was
determined
to
steal
the
package!
