Really neat movie theater 📽. Been here a couple of times and I'd for sure rate it over the metroplex branch, the video and sound quality are considerably better. Although I still think the arena mall branch is the best. Watched super Mario last time I was here. Really cool. Also, if the movie 🎬 is 3D, then USE THE 3D GLASSES, I mean its quite cheap 8k shillings, and they're reuseable so .. Buy yeah, pretty neat cinema if you ask me. They have quite a wide selection of snacks, slightly expensive but its okay really. From beers 🍺to sodas, from chips to popcorn 🍿 (the caramel popcorn is absolutely divine). Really cool place. The staff lets you choose ur seats too if you know about where to seat, they also help you pick seats if you're confused on where to seat(cool staff) Sorry about the blurry picture 🤭

Was recently there for the premiere of Ugandan film Tembele. Great ambience, I love the service, time honored, neat & clean. The fact that they embrace African films too is a huge bonus to them

This Cinema is like food, you can’t get tired of it. Everytime a new movie is released you will always find yourself running back to be the first to watch it. It’s an awesome addiction. Staff members are quite sharp, cleaning up now and then and making sure everyone gets exactly what they paid for. I will always go back 💚

Just watched spiderman no way home in cinema 3, the lighting and quality was horrendous, I could barely make out anything. Not exactly "bang for buck." Really disappointing. Nice popcorn though. Safe to say, I'll never spend another coin at this shambles of an establishment.

Great movie experience in Kampala. 3D movies also shown here. They need to STOP trying to serve old popcorn instead of popping a fresh batch. I was insulted that they served me nasty, stale popcorn and tried to convince me that it's fresh.

Still a great experience....was just there to watch the latest spiderman movie....I think the projector needs service after 2 years of closure, because the movie was I little dark. Otherwise still a good cinema

The movie experience is unrivalled. The team does a tremendous job guiding customers to their designated theatres . Ticket Prices increasing, would be nice to have some promotions and discounts.

We got to watch Barbie the movie there at 5pm on a weekday. It was a great experience, however the movie got interrupted thrice when the lights went out. All in all it was well conditioned and we enjoyed it.

It is really the only cinema left in Uganda but they have 3 branches: Acacia Mall kisementi, Metroplex Mall near Naalya roundabout and Arena Mall Nsambya. All three branches have different prices and their prices also vary according to the day of the week. They all show the same movies so you can always find a movie to watch within your price range.

The best place for movie freaks. Watching the latest movies in 2D or 3D is the best experience you can have. With very comfortable cinema halls and quality sound and graphics resolutions that give you the best experience you can have whilst enjoying your drinks and popcorn. All these at good prices.

Century cinemax is on of the best places to hangout with friends and family. Its Dolby experience is unparalleled, it gives the best theater experience and fully satisfies the movie lovers

It's a great place although when the time of the movie is like 3:30 it won't begin at 3:30 rather they show ads for like 25mins which is really annoying. But the sound is good

Late online response to bookings. Probably because cinema halls have just been re-opened. Other than that, good service.

While watching Equaliser 3, some scenes were in a foreign language, and a translation was provided in the subtitles. However, the subtitles were cut off by the lower part of the screen, making it impossible to read everything. The screen also had some strange particles all over it, which affected the image quality

It's okay Hate the ads and they are kinda poor time managers. Movie was meant to start at 7:30 but started at 8:00 after a lot of ads

It was a really comfortable experience, having to order my refreshments and have them in the cinema as the movie about to start, the sound, the adverts are all a thrilling experience

Enjoyed the movies not very populated and has nice quality.

Many things happened when I watched the little mermaid on 8 July 2023 with a friend 1. They were ‘renting’ 3D glasses in a really shady way 2. They double-booked our seats so there was confusion when we were sat 3. The *emergency* exit door was opened mid-movie and let in the outdoor light 4. Towards the end of the movie, it started freezing. Not sure how a movie licensed to theatres can freeze and rewind like a faulty DVD. It took over five minutes to be rectified. Not sure what’s going on but it’s weird.

The place is great, Dolby Atmos is decent . Not giving it 5 stars because I would love to see an Imax screen roll out soon. Other than that , no other better cinema in Uganda that I know of

Me and my friend went to watch fast x great movie by the way i would reccomend you to watch so I'm buying snacks before the movie and I give the woman 50k and I buy snacks for myself for 12 to 14k tell me why when I check my bag for the change I only have 18k so i go after the movie and ask her where is the rest of my change she said she combined me and my friends balance first of all i did not ask her to second of all my friend paid for himself and didn't get his also I enjoyed the movie but that same money for the snacks was going to be my lunch so my answer to this review is no i did not enjoy my visit to century cinemax

They should fix the cooling system. The hall I watched "No way home" 2D, needed to have a much better cooling system.

Great Atmosphere. The movies are good especially to watch on the weekend. Their prices are reasonably fair and the staff are well mannered. I highly recommend t as date destination and a place fo chill. Located inside Acacia makes it even convenient to grab something to eat before yo watch it movie!

My husband and I went to a century Cinemax movie during our honeymoon as we hadn’t seen a movie in theaters in years. It was a delightful experience and very affordable for great quality and comfort. They even had the option of Carmel corn!

It's a really great place. Located in a very calm place. Good for both adults and kids. But I'm not sure why done kids were let into the theatre when the movie was clearly a 13+ PG rated. The kids were making noise allover the theatre. That was a bit annoying.

The place was easy to find and getting tickets was a smooth transaction. Plenty of snack options (popcorn, lays, chocolates Pringles etc) at mildly affordable prices if you like to snack throughout your entire movie. The beverage options are also plenty and for adults that prefer something alittle strong and crazy, they've got you covered. Before the movie started they played alot of ads but besides that, the experience was nice. Ps: Incase you want to watch a 3D movie you might want to come prepared with your 3Dglasses (something I didn't know). But no worries if you don't have any, you can also simply rent them out while you buy your tickets.

Good place for Hollywood, Bollywood and other category movies. Sound system is average. Seats are good. But, armrests for some seats are broken, which is very bad. So, my experience is good.

Good sound and temperature at each projection room but it was not the case T the hall (very hot)

International standards. I love the movies. The ambulance, one of the best movies.
