Really good tour company. Some great locations and very atmospheric accommodation. Tour lead Francis was funny, helpful and very knowledgeable especially wildlife spotting. Chimpanzee and Gorilla treks were incredible. Yes it is tiring fitting it into a week but worth it. Ronald's communication and booking process was excellent throughout. Don't be afraid to book direct you'll save a small fortune. Overall a great company to holiday with.

We spent 8 wonderful days in Uganda with Kajie Safaris. The trip was perfectly prepared and carried out. We had great moments with chimpanzees and gorillas, and we also had the opportunity to observe lions and leopards. A friend and I traveled with Kajie Safaris in February to both Rwanda and Uganda. It has been my dream for a long time to visit the gorillas (and of course see a lot more), and after some shopping around, chose them to book with. I am so so happy we did. The decision was made after just a few email exchanges with Ronald. He was so responsive and accommodating of all our requests to alter the listed tour. I loved communicating with him through email so much that we knew it would be a good fit. Ronald was with us from the moment we landed until dropping us off at the airport on our last day. He put together an incredible experience for us, altering the plans many times as he got to know us better and better. The accommodation choices were better than I anticipated (we went with mid range ones). He is truly passionate about what he does and the sites he is taking people to. We were in great hands and he made it a perfect trip. Even the (necessary) long car rides were so much fun as we learned about the country, each other and took turns playing DJ while watching the stunning scenery around us. By the end it totally felt like we were traveling with a good friend. I have traveled extensively through Africa, and this was by far the best company I’ve worked with. First of all the company is very quick and professional answering all inquiries. I love the easines of being able to contact them through a chat on their webpage or just by writing a message to them on facebook. They answered my inquiry just within hours and I could sense the dedication to make all our wishes possible for a four day safari. We were hoping that we could do Kazinga Channel cruise, gorilla and chimpanzee tracking, batwa visit and a game drive in Uganda, and finalizing the safari with a visit to the genocide memorial in Kigali, Rwanda within four days - many companies told us this is too much for that period of time but Kajie Safaris seemed to have a really good knowledge about the driving times and what is realistic and what is not. They gave us an itinerary with everyrhing we wanted and more - we were able to fit in a visit to lake Bunyiony with canoeing and all. The company was also very open about the cost structure, and kept us up to date on accommodation reservation status and getting gorilla permits etc. Also the payment method they provide is reliable and secured. I felt comfortable doing business with them at all times. Our guide was very knowledgeable and super nice - it was really nice to have him at the safari with us. If I go back, I will use Kajie Safaris again and would recommend them to any traveller. The accommodation they booked for us exceeded our expectations. I felt that there is quite little variation in the prices after asking for a few quotes from different companies. Therefore price was not the driver in our decision making when we decided to pick Kajie Safaris - we chose them because of the can-do attitude, quick and professional communication and providing better visibility over the full booking process. To wrap it up - We could have not hoped for a better service.

We did a lot of research and reading of reviews before booking our Ugandan safari holiday. Kajie Safaris were always in the top reviews. Ronald was quick to respond to our emails and provided us with a very good itinerary right from the off. He was professional and honest in his answers and clearly knows his job and the Uganda safari circuit very well. We shortlisted Kajie and one other company before making our final decision. It is fair to say that they are not one of the cheaper tour operators - but to us that was a bonus. In the end we selected another company to plan our adventure but it was a very hard decision as there was little to choose between them. If I come to Uganda again, I would almost certainly get in touch with Kajie again. I wish them well - I know they will succeed with the customer service they have.

Kajie safaris gave us a great experience to sipi falls and kidepo valley national park, I enjoyed this trip so much,we told him want we so much wanted,a good road trip and an upclose with most animals during game drives since my daughter enjoys watching animals and I must say he delivered, thank you for the good work

Amazing experience from start to finish! Ronald was incredibly responsive throughout the booking process and helped to answer all of our questions. Hotels were great and unlike many other companies, Kajie organises full board which is very welcome after a long day of gorilla trekking and travelling. Thank you to the team and our guides Chris and Martin, in particular Martin’s expert handling at the Rwanda and Uganda border crossing. A once in a lifetime holiday experience!

Where do I start? We wanted to go with a local agency to avoid the rip-off that is paying an external agency a huge mark-up. We chose Kajie for the incredible reviews and they only exceeded expectations. We did a 9 day trip including 2 days of gorillas and chimps, QE national park, Murchison Falls, and Rhinos. Firstly, Ronald, the founder of Kajie, was our tour guide. He is an exceptional human being and travel partner. My partner and I had such fun sharing the nine days with him and felt such a sadness leaving him behind. He is extremely bright, sharp-witted, superbly knowledgeable, an organisation machine, with a gigantic sense of humour and a big heart. From the first day we knew we had not made a mistake! The tour itself was exceptional. Gorillas incredible (recommend more than one day) as was the area of Bwindi. Kajie organised exceptional accommodation (especially in Bwindi at Bweza and at Turaco Treetops, being the notable highlights). Chimps incredible. QE incredible. Murchison incredible. Honestly there is nothing I can fault about this trip. It was a once in a lifetime experience and it was made all the better by sharing with such a great companion and guide. As a male traveler, I was admittedly apprehensive about booking my trip as a solo tour of Rwanda and Uganda solely based on trip advisor reviews. However, it ended up being one the most best decisions of my life. I took a 6 day tour, organized by Ronald and guided by Colly to Murchsion Falls National Park, Fort Portal, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Rwanda, Lake Kivu. I was able to see the Big 4 in Murchsion Falls National Park and Gorillas in Bwindi. Colly was an amazing, understanding guide with many years of experience in the field. I always felt he had my best interest at heart and worked tirelessly to make sure I had a memorable trip. He is so good at identifying animals because I was able to see a Leopard in a tree relaxing, Lion for my first time with an antelope kill and navigating challenging roads. Furthermore, towards the end of the itinerary, it felt like I was on a road trip with a friend, rather than a guide. I’m certain he is one of the best in the business and you’d be lucky to have him as your guide. All the lodges Ronald booked were excellent quality, with good food and close to the parks. I felt very safe with Colly as my guide and I highly recommend Kajie Safaris for a memorable trip in Uganda and Rwanda!
