We thought the museum wasn't opened on Sunday as there was a cone placed at the main entrance. Once we notified the security guard that we wanted to visit the museum he allowed us to go in. Plenty of parking space as this is not a popular spot. There isn't any entrance fee for the museum. Only small collection of cars are available. Not too bad to begin with. Hopefully they can increase the collection and grow it to bigger scale.

The National Automotive Museum is a compact Museum within the Sepang Circuit area. It's free with a registration at the counter. The ground floor display the Jaguar 1954, the Alvis Firefly 1932s and etc.. The first floor display the history of Malaysia car productions. The total length of visit around 30 minutes.

Just found out there’s a cool museum in sepang petronas international circuit. The museum is free and airconditioned all the old antique cars are well taken care off and the museum is clean. There is no reason for stars less than 5. Plenty of parkings. So excited to see a bufori physically infront of us . Kids are all excited too to visit this place. The circuit is just behind this museum.

A place worth to pay a visit to know more history about Malaysian Automobile. Even though the muzeum is small with 2 floors, however they do well maintain the place. With good air conditioning and clean place to visit.

This museum is located just outside the Sepang circuit. The Sepang track can be seen from inside the Muzeum. It is a very small museum and admission is free. There's nothing around except museums, so don't expect too much

Its a small auto museum located at the Sepang International Circuit. Within the small museum are some history about the past motorsports events that had taken place in SIC such as the F1, Japanese SuperGT, MotoGP, Malaysian Super Series and etc. Also some short write up about the Malaysian National Car Project as well as a few classic cars on display. You probably spend a good 15 minutes or less to walk around the gallery. If you are in Sepang International Circuit then OK to drop by but definitely not worth the ride from the city to visit the museum.

202401 A free entrance museum and free parking too. It has no other visitors even though it is a public holiday. It showcases a lot of antique cars and the history of automobile development in Malaysia. Worth to visit, it is nearby by KLIA. It can be improved definitely. A bit run down. Both local authority and facility onwer can value added the nearby facilities. Namely, have a F&B cafe and souvenir shop. Keep it up.

The musium is clean. Cars are well maintained. But the collection is very limited. It is a fun place for kids. There is no admission fee, we just needed to write our name and address at the entrance. A lot of parking space available.

Quick visit with lil children, and they can appreciate the showcase. It's a free entry museum, but you have to fill up a visitor record book.

If you're into historical vehicles like Jaguar F-type & Bufori's, pay a visit because surely you'll be amazed at how amazing they're able to fit so many vehicles in this tiny yet glamorous museum, and the entrance is free !!

It was abit hidden but i would suggest they do abit more hands on activities that makes it worth attending again. Its like a one time type of visit. Good excuse to enter as they have good air-conditioning for Malaysia hot weather

This museum is built next to the Sepang Motor Speedway. She was destined to be a "second wife" as soon as she was born. Back then, the old horse made all the stops, and the "Emperor" gave the order to build it. . . But now, the Sepang Circuit cannot afford money-burning sports, and it no longer hosts international events. The eldest wife has become a widow, and the tragic end of the "second wife" can be imagined. 1. The building is quite large, but the exhibition hall only has two floors. The basic equipment is relatively complete and the air-conditioning is quite cold. 2. The museum mainly displays antique cars. Lao Ma wanted to present the development history of domestically produced cars in my country, but strangely, the first PROTON SAGA was not included in the exhibition list and disappeared without a trace. . . (Maybe it was so popular that it was sold out and can’t be found anymore) 3. It cannot be said that it is useless. If you follow the underground footprints and read the explanations, you can still have a general understanding of the entire process of "domestic car dream creation". 4. PROTON has been losing money for more than ten years, but Lao Ma was unwilling to stop the loss. It was not until Najib decided to sell Lao Ma’s political legacy to China that he woke up from this dream. Lao Ma then went crazy and launched an act of revenge and sent Najib to jail. (Hey, it turned out to be PROTON who took Najib to jail) 5. The above is just my bluff, not a museum explanation. 6. I think, how many people visit this "mistress" museum in a year? How much does the museum cost approximately every day in terms of management fees, maintenance fees, and staff? PROTON teaches us that stop loss is necessary, but we seem to have not learned this lesson thoroughly enough. . .

A long drive for nothing. Very disappointing. With the exception of A few, and I mean few, the display of cars are those u can see on the road. Not even the 1st Proton Saga! Yes entry is free but this is hardly a museum. Someone is not on the ball. Sigh!

Beautiful cars. Should have all the National Cars here

  • 2/5 Akmal A. 2 years ago on Google
It was very small and not enough history and vehicles, they should get funding to expand, we had such a rich and diverse automotive history. The musuem should gather cars, trucks, busses and etc that were sold, built and used here that many Malaysians remember, public transportation exhibits would be awesome! (Teksi Opel, Datsun, Penang busses)

Enjoyed my visit to this museum. It’s free entrance and there are a few suprises within. If you are a fan of automobiles you should definitely come pay this place a visit. Plenty of car park available thus no issue. Space is quite wide thus you will be able to manoeuvre a wheelchair about.

  • 4/5 Xiao L. 1 year ago on Google
It's well maintained, entrance is free, and the place itself is quite small. The museum has 2 floors. You will spend approximately 10-20 minutes.

  • 2/5 Harcharan S. 1 year ago on Google
It was kinda boring. I expected more cars, more history. Instead it just looked so dead. And despite being an F1 circuit, not a single F1 car was on display. Just pictures. They really have to make the museum something amazing and interesting. Not a boring one

You wouldn't know there is a Museum until you see a signboard. Although it's just a two storey showroom, you may find it so interesting with the collection of the vintage sport cars. The best thing is entrance is free as well as parking. Just have to mention visit to the museum at the guard house and you are safe to walk in.

A decent museum since its admission is free. It contains some vintage cars and its history/relation to Malaysia in early times, some little facts about Malaysia's known carmakers such as Proton & Perodua. However, the details given for the displayed cars are so little that it's better off to be searching on Google instead. The museum management team should put more information such as the year and model's generation of the car displayed, that would attract more people in knowing more about automotives
