Not many people here at all, in fact, it was a pretty dead place and I felt like I was the only customer. But I got good service and the range of products is very good especially when it comes to authentic batik - so it's a great place to get gifts for visiting friends.

You can get variety of premium quality Malaysian crafts here. Would recommend if you are bringing international dignitaries/friends to shop here. They are available for your own use too.

A lot of shops are hold. Various souvenir and products by local industry are sold, so we can get any items on this centralized market. it is comfortable. It is mainly characterized by handicrafts, folk arts and crafts. There are many cute accessories that can only be found here.

Wanted to buy local weaving handicraft as gift. Went to Karyaneka & found lovely weaving (anyaman) placemats. It came in many Colors & bought blue shade. However they do not have matching coasters. Karyaneka has a wide collection of local handicrafts as souvenirs. Price fr cheap to expensive collection. Staff there are very friendly & helpful. Manage to visit Textile Art Museum there too & a wonderful historical collection & info on cloth weaving & printing. Shld visit for those who love culture & art forms.

This is one of the worst and unwelcoming places to visit. Google says it closes at 6.30 pm but when we went, we casually saw kids running in and out of the main door. And then, the staff didn't let us in althought we manage to say that it was supposed to close at 6.30pm. The lady proceeds to say that it is the shop instead. Maybe as a suggestion, please provide sufficient information on the internet. Also, if you were to close, close properly, not letting kids running in and out of the door, and proceed to say it's closed. Please take note

This is a center created by the Malaysian government to help sell Malaysian cottage industry products and other handicrafts. A must place to go for foreign guest who do not have much time to pick up souvenirs. You can also see artist who produce their work over there.

Place is nice. People are friendly. Working with Batik is always a great experience for those who haven't done it before. Wish the maintenance work can be done faster. They didn't turn on the air-conditioner for the big group event when I was there. Not enough parking for the tourist busses.
