SOP is in place. There are 12 tables which are usually quickly occupied once the main entrance is opened. Therefore, the next batch of guests have to queue up until they have empty tables. That can take up a good half an hour. Food is delicious and not overly spicy. Therefore, we can enjoy the food. However, service wise I think can be improved. Guests should be given a list of menu so they can independently tock their orders on the list. If you are very hungry, just hang in there for a while. It's worth the wait.

The place open at 1130am till 2pm only. Managed to get inside around 115pm. All food are freshly cooked based on orders. Aaaa sedap dan murah. Cuma if you like spicy food, here is a bit mild to me. We ordered patin tempoyak, sotong dan daging masak lemak cili api, sambal udang petai. Cendol dan lassi mango. Nyumsss πŸ‘€πŸ”₯

Amazing kampung style dishes. Quite a few fish to try with different cooking styles. Cendol is amazing too. If you want to come, be there around 11am as the shop opens at 1130am and people start queueing up around 1115am. The crowd builds up crazily once the shop is open. May need to line up for half an hour if you are late. Come here if you want to taste malay kampung style dishes. Worth every penny.

Watie's Corner Highly recommended. The food is great, definitely an interesting concept of dishes. They served a fixed set of traditional malay dishes. The range is not too much but sufficiently varies. Environment is a very traditional malay vibe. Down side of it, opening time is only 11.30 am to 2.00 pm. Should open longer to the less peak our. Due to the short operating hours & during peak lunch hours, the queue is too long. I have to queue for 1 hour just to get seated. Another 30 minutes wait for the dishes to be served, as they served it hot and freshly cooked. Apart from the long waiting time, everything else is satisfying. I love their Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, nicely cooked, the fish were clean nicely and no bad smell. Their sotong goreng kunyit is also nice. The squid were well done fried but not hard at all. Price is very affordable. Drinks is only RM1-2.

(Translated by Google) The shop opens at exactly 11.30am. Not fast for a moment, not even for a moment. 😁 If you come early, please line up ready2. The food at this store is superb. Never disappoint. My favorites are lassi, fried chicken, petai shrimp sambal, soy sauce cooked squid, ulam-ulaman, kerabu and belacan sambal. Come Value, must try this store. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ (Original) Kedai ni dibuka tepat pada pukul 11.30pagi. Tak cepat sesaat, tak pula lewat sesaat. 😁 Kalau datang awal, sila beratur siap2. Makanan kat kedai ni memang superb. Tak pernah mengecewakan. Favourite saya manggo lassi, ayam kampung goreng, sambal udang petai, sotong masak kicap, ulam-ulaman, kerabu dan sambal belacan. Datang Nilai, wajib try kedai ni. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

This is real malay Negeri Sembilan food. One of the best and it is also cheap here. Tables are limited but trust me it is worth the wait. Food here is better than Aunty Aini's which serves something similar that is just down the road but Aunty Aini's is a more upscale restaurant with nice decorations and garden.

Among the best kampung style dish in Nilai that cook with love. The ingredients are flourish in every dish and the environment is clean, just nice with tree shade. Price also affordable compared the amount of dish offered. Extra rice recommended.

Hiddened gems in a secluded kampung. Not easy to find as the restaurant looks like a shade and with just a banner on the kitchen wall. Very reasonably as each set with rice and simple drinks starts from RM10 only.

Great food. Very nice masak lemak and cendol, sambal belacan, kerabu kacang botol and ikan masin... Marvelous.. Waiting time... Expected .. long waiting since I know that the food is freshly cook.. very reasonable price. Its just that the place is hot. If upgrade to air-conditioning place.. surely long queue.. even now already queue. Need to come early as 12 noon. The food finish early as 2pm.

The best kampong style Nogori family lunch dishes. Everything on the menu is sodap. I was surprised with the shop too. Though the ceiling is low but very cooling. Found out that above the roof is covered with bamboo tree leaves and other trees, so it's like eating under a canopy of trees. Also can entertain the kids with chicken and ducks next to the shop. A hidden gem, definitely worth revisiting.

Literally tepi kubur! The place is so humble, clean, comfortable & WINDY despite Negeri Sembilan is scorching hot! Haha. We ordered daging salai masak lemak, SPICY & the beef is so soft. Loved it. We also ordered sotong masak tempoyak… OH MY GOD. My jaw dropped. The gravy is thick & DELICIOUS. Definitely coming over here again. 🫢🏻

Came here with Mr. K, ENT specialist on invitation of Mr. Parasitologist, Dr. Sheikh Fadlul. makanan memang sodap. but must come early to get ur table, otherwise the queue may spoil ur gustatory experience. I had jenahak asam pedas. paired with ikan masin and sambal belacan.... wow... could have finished 3 plates of rice but rational thinking prevailed. I had only a plate of rice. phew.... ikut nafsu and selera.... dangerous worr this place. btw, i dunno how much ... my good fren Sheikh fadlul belanja. tq my fren.

Authenthic negeri sembilan food is available here. Masak Lemak Cili Api is their speciality . Sambal udang petai is excellent too. I just dont like the small stall and limited seating. Their operation time (11 to 2pm)is not my cup of tea too.

Food was great. The service however was not. The waiter wasn’t friendly. We were all too scared to even ask for ice. As usual, a bit packed since its a well-known restaurant in the area so do come earlier than peak hours.

Food: Superb! Served while still hot. Taste delicious though not spicy as expected. Negeri Sembilan dishes should be somewhat spicy.. Service: Fast food serving! At this age of cashless payment this restaurant only accept CASH.. they should have calculated the cost for each table right after we finished ordering so that it would not take a long time to do the calculation when we want to make the payment! Atmosphere: The sound of birds chirping making the feel like in a remote village even though the restaurant is just beside a main road… however, there are a lot of flies that really irritating! In addition, there is no appropriate parking spaces. Be careful if you parked under the tree in-front of the restaurant, your car will have a lot of bird droppings!

Nice hidden place for you to have masak lemak Salai at Nilai. If you don't really know where it is, then you probably won't find this restaurant. You should have someone know about this place to bring you here. Because it is really hidden in an unusual place. The landmark is two planes and a Muslim cemetery. Then you should be there. But at first you will be hesitant to go because it doesn't look like a diner. The atmosphere is quite nice where it feels like an illegal place but it isn't. You feel like eating in a village. The food is okay for me but you need to be here early as most of the food will be finished before their closing time.

Foods here are all flavourful with reasonable and affordable prices. You can either order their dishes by set, which comes with a side of ulam, sambal, ikan masin, and white rice, or ala carte. But the portion for beef was quite too small. For me, i would prefer their masak lemak instead of masak lemak tempoyak, but both did satisfy my tastebuds. The beef was very tender. The gravy was not so spicy so it's great for those who can't tolerate too spicy food. I would rate their drinks 5/10, couldn't complain much for the price i paid. The parking lots are free of charge but it's quite far. There was also some unpleasant smell when i went there. 2 drinks + daging masak lemak set + ikan patin masak lemak tempoyak set + ala carte white rice for RM27.
