Once a nice hotel I'm sure, now past its best. Check in was good, but our room has no windows (only deluxe room gets a view of any sort), bed linen was marked, no towels in the room and 2 lights not working. Window aside, these were sorted by the staff, but shouldn't have happened in the first place. The location however is first class and a great base of explore the city from. If the room had been properly cleaned and maintained in the first place, it would probably have got a higher rating. For the money, there are better budget hotels, but not necessarily with such a good location.

Good quality budget hotel. Comfortable air conditioned rooms. Great location in China town so plenty of amazing food options on its doorstep. Only 20 min walk to the KL tower. Although we overlooked the market the rooms didn't let in any outside noise. Simple and clean hotel with friendly staff.

Only bonus is that it very close to Chinatown with a back entrance that makes going to the transit easier. However: breakfast is lack luster, room service is poor (they seem to not do anything for you), wifi patchy and constantly being told it will be fixed, room cleaners will not clean room adequately and wake you up even if the sign on the door says not to open. Though cleaner than some of the other accommodations around it there are definitely better options around as well.

Very friendly staff. The room is very clean. The only downside is the bed is not as comfortable. Fairly hard bed and feels like sleeping on a box spring. The breakfast option is fairly decent. Asian and Western food. It's located in the heart of Chinatown. Two entrances. One main entrance on Jalan Sultan. The other entrance on the back takes you in the middle of night market and Chinatown.

Very mixed review. The location is excellent and the hotel offers very affordable rooms. It is quiet, the beds are good. They should improve on cleanliness. The swaths of hair that were lying around the room where disgusting. Housekeeping shoved it haphazardly under the bed after asking for a thorough vacuuming of the room. 4* if room was free of hair.

Swiss Inn was pretty standard. The staff was super nice and the location is ideal. However, even though my room was non smoking, it had a heavy smoke/tobacco smell because of the room across the way had a smoker, according to the bellman. 😐 I liked/thought it was funny that my room had the illusion of a window with the curtains. I would probably stay again if I come back to KL again. You really can't beat $20 a night.

A great hotel in the heart of China Town KL. We have stayed in a few in this area but this hotel was uber clean and modern. The hotel was under renovation while we were here so it will be even better by the time you stay here. It felt like a time capsule to be safe and sound inside the modern room and then stepping out into the madness of China Town. Rooms are spacious, bathroom excellent with great shower.. plenty of power outlets.. what more does a traveler need?

The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay. It is a non smoking hotel. But don't expect the tenants will heed that. We had our room changed due to the strong cigarette smell in our room and the corridor.

Smallish but convenient rooms, perfect location for a city trip with decent wifi. Lots of places for food nearby so the hotel restaurant is easily avoided. Biggest issue here is the cleanliness. Can someone please give the staff a new vacuum cleaner?! Although carpets in the hallway were clearly attempted to be vacuumed they remained dusty. Would have been four stars if the room floor had actually been decently cleaned upon request.

The worst hotel and staffs I have ever experienced in my life. For my business trip I booked this hotel, I stayed here for more than a week. 1) The Air condition(A/C) of the rooms are not at all working, too hot rooms. 2) The wifi is always fluctuating, can't depend of wifi. 3) Complained regarding A/C many times no response received from hotel staff. 4) Sometimes only hot water supply no cold, and some times only cold. 5) wash basin leakage. In short the rooms are OK, but no service, no maintenance, no care. Booking this hotel was a huge mistake. I am writing this review from this hotel room now and the room in too hot A/C not working.

Hotel attendance are considered friendly and helpful. Facilities and cleanliness may need to improve. Water heater not functioning well, room's key card couldn't access the door entrance and even own room, went to reception twice in the midnight. Btw love their decoration ideas.

Friendly staff and since the room was just renovated, the smell of paint was quite strong on the 1st day. Showerhead was peeing streams of water and gotta call the reception to send their technician to check it out. It was fixed. Another issue was the kettle was rusty on the inside.. So gotta request for a change as well.. Otherwise, basic needs standards are met. Bed is clean and room is clean. Would recommend for visitors to check this few items that I mentioned to ensure enjoyable stay. Breakfast is provided at the cafe. Not bad for non fussy eater..

Very friendly staff but the room is more 2 star than 3 I would say however perhaps I'm used to 3 star accommodation in fully developed countries. I have included some pictures from my visit but if none of it puts you off then it's just me. Overall, nothing bad to say about the stay apart from a few stains on the towels and pillows which they changed out for me.
