Wonderful place for families with little kids to visit. Condition is definitely not the best for the animals (compared to the farm animals we saw in Perth), but I understand the costs in involved in running a farm. I am impressed this place survived for the past three years of Covid19 lockdowns. Only RM18 per adult and RM12 for kids. Money well spent. We WhatsApp the lady boss and paid for our tickets in advance using the TnG app (RM30 in deposit). The weather was good and most importantly, there were literally zero mosquitoes! We read the reviews of the restaurant so bought our own dinner from Tebrau Aeon before heading over. There was an outdoor area for us to consume our dinner. You can reach around 5.30pm like us and we spent 30 minutes for dinner and an hour at the farm feeding the goats, fishes, ducks, chickens and rabbits. There’s also a small playground with swings for the little ones. After that at 7.15pm, we wore our life vests (VERY SMELLY) and prepared for our boat ride to see the fireflies. There were so many of them! And we left at 8.15pm and we’re back at our Airbnb at KSL by 9pm. All in all a wonderful trip! Highly recommend for families for kids to try this place. Plan in advance, book your tickets early, and bring your own dinner!

Mini farm can improve by adding educational facts for each animal. What species are being shown some basic info about it. This would enhance the educational aspect of if. Food at restaurant was good and prices are rather reasonable. Firefly tour was a little disappointing because we were not allowed to take any photos or videos even if we switched off our flash. Whereas Kuala Selangor allows it. After playing the recorded narration in various languages giving information about the fireflies, it would have been good if there was silence while we observed the fireflies. Instead they played upbeat music at quite a loud volume.

Drove 30-45mins from JB city for mesmerizing and an unforgettable learning journey. Price for adult is RM18 and kids will depend on their height. If your kids are above 120cm they will have to pay adult ticket and for below 120cm the ticket is at RM12. This price is without dinner. There's also ticket price with dinner but didn't manage to ask the lady boss as she is busy. We chose the 7:30PM trip but we were there at 6.00pm. There a mini zoo and children playground. The kids were amazed by twinkling fireflies. The breeze was so fresh and we managed to see thousands of fireflies within our 30mins journey. We ended the trip with wishing lanterns.

The firefly cruise itself is amazingly beautiful and may feel short, but watching the fireflies in the mangrove make one feel like watching a riverbank of Christmas trees. Photos are not allowed not to disturb the fireflies. Adding a seafood meal before the cruise is highly commended as the food here is very good. We visited on Christmas day and had the salted egg crab which was amazing, as was the rest of the food. Tickets can only be booked via WhatsApp. When you arrive for dinner ensure to secure a place on the boat. Two departures 1930 and 2030.

Spectacular view of the fireflies filling up so many trees and blinking away in the night as we sat in a boat to admire the sight. I recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen this. The restaurant within the firefly place has really nice seafood and prices are very reasonable. We were there early to have dinner before viewing the fireflies.

DO NOT COME HERE. They have animals locked in small dirty cages (including a monkey) no need. There is another company to do the Kota Tinggi firefly tour. Director, think about it. Firefly experience is enough to earn money, that cage is no place for a monkey.

A lot of animals like chickens, rabbits and even goats to interact with. Can purchase fish food at the counter to feed the catfish. The trip is paid and covers a dinner at their small restaurant. At night the trip to look at fireflies on their small sheltered boat on the river is amazing. There are many tiny white fireflies all over the bushes and some on top of tall trees. The person driving the boat whom I think is the owner is friendly and even showed us a small British world war two ruin while he drove past it. Nothing is bad about the experience.

Food was crazy good, surpassed expectations especially with the affordability for this quality. Fireflies were beautiful at night, even had a small farm to feed and interact with animals including goats. Affordable and insta worthy

even though this is far off from the city of Kota Tinggi, this place serves you a piece of geography and good food. mini zoo: the minizoo features many varieties of animals, such as turkeys, chickens, goats, rabbits, gooses and fish. they are also let out and roam around, and you can get many close up photos too. food: we ordered the 砂煲豆腐 (claypot tofu), 虾米包菜 (shrimp cabbage), 麦片软壳蟹 (fried cereal soft shell crab) and 全鲳鱼 (whole pomfret) for our dinner. 1. the claypot tofu is good, with its hot starchy sauce, vegetables and fried tofu nicely combined. 2. the cabbage has nice flavour and texture, with the small dried shrimp for an extra punch of flavour and texture. 3. the fried cereal soft shell crab is sweet and crispy, with the fried cereal adding more texture 4. the fish was fresh and soft, with the simple soy sauce base making it a perfectly balanced dish firefly observation: a boat transported us to the firefly habitat, where fireflies roamed around the mangrove trees. they would also explain the firefly, its habitat, lifespan, and gender differences. unfortunately, we could not get pictures as the screen brightness might have disturbed the habitat of the fireflies. cost: the firefly observation was RM18 or 5SGD for each person. the food in total came out to RM110 or 32SGD. overall, the whole experience is great, with nice food, nice view and nice fireflies to see. very worth coming here to give it a try

Highly recommended for family trip. Great customer services, well scheduled trip and able to cater for ovo-lacto vegetarian dinner ( worthy yet mindful). We were allocated seat with river side view, it's splendid! Fireflies blinking like a Xmas tree, frankly speaking it's getting lesser compared 10+years ago, grab the opportunity to see it before its extinct.

the experience was unpleasant and disappointing. took the 730pm boat, which was the recommend slot and most crowded (as expected). during the river cruise, crowd control on the boat was non existent. many people were standing up and walking around, making a lot of noise and shining light from their phones at the fireflies. the operators tried to tell the passengers to stop doing so once, but throughout the rest of the trip, they ignored the commotion that the passengers were causing. i believe the noise and light will affect the fireflies and other wildlife :(

A nice adventure especially for kids. Our tour guide/boat operator gave detailed explanation of the fireflys. No photography allowed though as per our tour guide ,its the fireflies 'happy hour'. Also , he said that even professional photogs will not be able to capture the 'lights'. I would definitely recommend but a note, its a bumpy road leading to this place.

Booking in advance to avoid disappointment! Location in Waze is correct as it is required driving through a distance off road/ plantations area. Firefly viewing experience is great though it is not super exciting after you see it for awhile.

Prices for meals, mini zoo and ferry is acceptable. Our fried rice, ostrich meat and bamboo oysters tasted good and nice. Toilets are clean. The ferry trip and narrative guides are also good, nice and interesting. Everything is good and nice, except the road to reach this place is not so nice.

Great place to show your children how does fireflies live and their natural habitat. There are getting less in the wild and very soon it might extinct. Let's do our part to preserve this for our future generations!

Terrible place. Bad experience. Owner has a terrible attitude. Do not, do not eat there. You will wait for 2 hours there and end up they forget about your food and still want to fight with you. They won't admit wrong and continue to ignore and fight you if necessary. So best is don't go here. I'll not go here anymore. Go other place... Also there is no firefly here. Even if there is, no pictures allowed. So u won't have any memories.

Actually a lovely experience. The fireflies looked like sparkly Christmas trees in the dark. Food was also delicious and reasonably priced. The rabbits in the mini zoo are kinda sad but not much can be done about that sadly.

A light sprinkling of rain on the day. Boat ride was quite nice, we saw a lot more fireflies along the river than expected, some were even flying very close to the boat. The glow from the fireflies was rather dimmed however. While waiting for our boat, we played with some friendly stray cats, fire crackers and poppers, and flew a sky lantern splattered with some of our best new year wishes yet! A worthwhile visit.

You get to see goats, fish, and hedgehogs. If you want to see firefly you have to come at a specific time like around 7 or 8pm. Unfortunately I did not take the cruise because we did not want to wait 1 hour for the boat cruise. Recommend you buy tickets ahead of time if you want to see fireflies. Otherwise walk-in is about 2 ringgits.

Everything is great, but can further improve on the organising for firefly tour, it is bit in chaos and no announcement is made, you have to keep go asking the organizer.

It was a great experience for the kids and adults alike.. a break away from the urban lifestyle... drivers take note.. the drive in a gravel and may seem to take forever to arrive. ^_-

Came here for the firefly cruise but felt like the mini zoo was more interesting to see (especially for kids). They have free roaming turkeys and a duck who are all quite friendly. You can feed the duck, tortoise, fishes, goats. There are also pigeons, rabbits and a monkey. The firefly cruise was sort of disappointing maybe because it was almost full moon that night, their light was so dim on comparison, if I didn't focus my eyes I won't be able to see them. Short 15 min boat trip was quiet in the night. Their seafood restaurant was okay, personal opinion, too much batter on the mantis shrimp and the soft shell crab. If you want those high standard fresh and scrumptious seafood restaurants, go elsewhere. Disappointing thing is they took so long to serve the food, although we even ordered the dishes in advanced and they promised to serve it 6.30pm but only came at almost 7pm. Firefly cruise starts at 7.30pm, had to wolf down the chili crab and didn't feel good eating so fast.

The goat village there was RM2 only but quite sad to see the animals in their cages. Some were seen dead too.. but the main highlight was definitely their firefly boat ride. Did not expect to experience such beauty. One firefly even entered the boat. Also had dinner (not certified Halal but use halal ingredients) there and released a wish lantern with my friends for the new year. Overall good experience.

We had wonderful experiences on both the sky lantern and fireflies watching. The place also provides dinner. We had chilli crab and 奶白。The crab is fresh (perfect if the sauce is a little more spicy), and 奶白is a good match to top it off. Photo credit, my amazing wife.

All the dishes included chilly crabs were delicious. Also, it was fun to fly the sky lantern with my kid and I loved hundreds of fireflies in nature. Even if most of staffs didnot speak English, all of them were kind and helpful. Thank you for your service and kindness. However, the bathroom was quite dirty. In addition, when I crossed over to the pond bridge, the smell was really bad because of the animals.
