This beach has spectacular views. Also this place is clean and comforting to be here most of the times. In the mid day, when the sun is high and shining, this beach is not that easy to be here as very hot. Also the beach sand become very hot and kinda hard. But in the morning and also in the evenings, this beach is a place to be. Sea breeze is comforting. Good place to bring little kids here. Kids collect sea shells too. Some colorful coral available here, and that color is amazing. Security is available as Sri Lankan Navy and Police forces are here. Some reefs also available, they slow downs the sea waves, and kinda protection available. A good place to hangout with kids and even pets. One thing, don't put things of your's in here and take things from here.

There's small around 75m long rock guarded area for safe bathing. Still the surrounding sea is very rough. Should be very cautious if entering the water. Can clearly see the colombo city from here

Besama/ Uswatakeiyawa beach is a beautiful beach. It has these natural pools which are great to have a swim. But be careful of the sea urchins. It used have so much biodiversity, but after the disaster caused by the ship Pearl, there's none left anymore. Anyway it's a great place to see the sunset.

Nice beach and tourist attraction, there is a bathing spot called "Besama" safe place, with lot of Sri Lankan people coming on weekends. Paid Parking facilities, junk food stalls, available. 2 minutes away you can find fish selling place called "Lellama" for fresh fish direct from the boats, in the morning hours. Except Sunday. Cheap prices and very fresh.....

There is a house next to the shop near by they let you shower in their shower for a little money (LKR40- 2022 july ). Don't go too far away from beach waves are rough.
