This is a post from personal experience, without explore vacation it would be impossible for me to travel srilanka in that particular time when I was in very need for my professional work, they helped me to get my visa for my family and guide all the things through out the travel. Ayubowan! I’m grateful to be writing another review based on our second trip organized by Pathumi at Explore Vacations. It. Was. Amazing. Again. First, we were partnered with one of our favourite human beings - Tharindu - who expertly navigated and guided us for two weeks. He ensured we soaked up as much knowledge, culture, and goodness as possible. His care and concern, kindness and generosity are incredible. Tharindu is one of a kind. Because it was our second trip to Sri Lanka in a short period, Pathumi ensured we saw incredible new sites that showcased the diversity of beautiful Sri Lanka. The hotels she recommended were unique. The locations and food second to none. The care and attention Pathumi put into the organization of our trip made it another impactful adventure. I highly recommend Explore Vacations based on the experience we had with Pathumi and Tharindu. We did not have to worry about any detail at any point during our holiday …. And outside of trip planning/execution, they are wonderful people in general 😊

From airport pick up to final drop off, I have been looked after really well. Thanks to the kindness and professionalism of my driver Shaluka, my first big solo holiday was a great success. He looked after me and was able to show me all the 'must see' sights as well as some places not normally on the itinerary. I will look forward to a return trip. Great times, great memories.

This was an amazing trip. This was made possible because our guide Sandu Fronceska was amazing. He's kind, understanding, patient and very friendly. He knows English well so there no problem with the language. If you're trying to get here, ask for Sandu.

We had a great experience with Explore vacations — Antan and Pathumi were very helpful and attentive in helping organise logistics for our trip, including train tickets and a car and driver for our trip to the tea country in and around Nuwara Eliya. Tharindu our driver was spectacular — he looked after us so well and was very knowledgable of the local surroundings, intrigues and sites — in addition to being a great and safe driver. Would definitely recommend to use Explore Vacations!

My family and I recently returned from a two week vacation to Sri Lanka with Explore Vacations. Our experience exceeded our expectations. We had visited Srilanka in May 2018 for 9 days. We had rented a Car with driver from Explore Vacations. The experience was fantastic and their Service very professional. The Price they offered was reasonable and was all inclusive (petrol, parking, toll, driver night charges all included). The car was in very good condition, and the Driver Mr. Herath was a wonderful person who took very good care of us. He was English speaking, and was well versed with the roads, he knew the local tourist attractions in every location that we visited. He was our tour guide as well ! His driving was very safe and we never had any anxious moments, the entire journey was relaxing. I will highly recommend Explore Vacations to anyone who is visiting Sri Lanka !!

On the way from airport to our hotel we stopped in Explora. In 20 minutes we had a plan how to see the most beautiful places in short time. Our driver Mr Shaluka is a good friend, very kind and patent chauffeur, still smilling. We felt very safe in heavy traffic and we learned a lot of interesting information about people and the country. The hotels they chose for us were luxurious, always in a different style for a very nice price. Every morning we had comfortable, air-conditioned car with an exact plan of travel, nothing to worry about. We saw elephants, monkeys, budha's temples, tea-trea fields with tasting tea, safari, beautiful beaches, traditional weedings, made a purchases in local markets and we met nice people and beautiful country, where we definitely want to go back, of course with best guide Shaluka and Explore vacation. 😀

we had a very nice trip around Sri Lanka with this travel agency. Everything was fine: very good contact before the trip and during the trip when needed; very good selection of hotels, tailormade (we wanted only design hotels), very good van and driver, - Mr Herath - who was always perfectly on time, very kind, ready to respond to our programme changes and knew the territory very well and was more of a guide rather than just a driver. I would recommend the agent to everybody who wants to visit Sri Lanka Hope to be back sometimes

I have just returned from holiday where we spent two weeks travelling through Sri Lanka. Being one of three girls and travelling with a lot of luggage, we decided to book a car and driver and I can honestly say it was a great decision. Our driver, Mr Herath was fantastic, really friendly and he really made our holiday special. We had already done some research before travelling so had a loose plan as to where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do, but Mr Heraths local knowledge and advice meant we were able to visit places we hadn’t even thought about going to and we ended up experiencing a lot more of Sri Lanka than we would have ended up doing if it hadn’t been for him being our guide. He was always available no matter what the time of day, whether that was to drive us where we wanted to go or just offer advice from anything from where to eat to how much tip we should leave. He was like our personal lonely planet guide and we owe him a huge thank you. If you are looking for a guide and driver in Sri Lanka then I would certainly recommend him.

I traveled around Sri Lanka with My boy-friend and Shaluka has been so available for every our requests. Professional and carefull. A good way to visit a fantastic country.
