One of the best markets out there. And also there are sales through out the year and you can buy most of the Items you need here. So I recommend going there and buying what you need. 400th Cargills Outlet in the country . 2nd outlet in Negombo road in a span of 1km. This has a bakery of its own and vegetables area has some accharu and nuts. The parking area is huge. Unilever has its first refill machine in this outlet for detergent liquids to refill. You get a price reduction if your bring the old detergent bottle and refill here.

Cargills foodcity is a household name in sri-lanka. The place is always upto standards until you call them and find out what standards they don't even answer calls.

Worst supermarket. The lady manager is very rude to customers. May be she has some ego attitude or some family problem. Never recommend Cargils old Wattala market.

So slow at checkout. Stood for 15 minutes in the checkout line even though only 1 person was in front of me.

It is very conveniently located, and the best thing I would say is that this location has its own fuel pump. I think it's a very good initiative, especially for ppl leaving Colombo. This outlet would be very helpful. And not forgetting has almost all the goods that one could be looking for, making it the ideal place to visit.

Far better than the outlet opposite HNB. Has a large parking space. It would be nice if they get some shade in the parking lots. Has a detergent refilling machine. Something new to me. Never tried it. 4* given due to lack of staff. The only cashier looked very tired. In Katugastota where I shop often have vibrant and helpful staff. Staff attitude matters a lot in getting business.

The staff is very mean to customers. Today I saw a staff member speaking rudely and impolitely towards a customer. He was old and was not able to hear properly so this staff member was very harsh towards him. Very disappointed of this behaviour. Mannered staff members would be appreciated.

A clean super market. Also they have taken steps to reduce plastic usage through liquid refilling machines. Highly appreiated.

During these days of covid, their online service of Cargills Wattala 2 is terrible. Unavailability of Vegitables and mostly day to day essentials. Delivery of I Items takes too long some times late nextday. They have have really lost their reputation gained over the Years due their present bad service.
