Not sure why this place has such a high rating with do many reviews. We found the food to be very average. Maybe it's popular for non veg food. Also felt at that the place was not hygienic.

Wow that was really bad! The butter chicken tasted like sweet watered down tomato sauce. Samosas have no flavour with a lot of dough. The chicken tikka tasted like chicken with no tikka. Naan was decent. How this place has more than 4 stars is amazing. Never eating here again.

Wonderful place to have affordable (for a central part of the city) excellent quality Indian food. Pretty atmosphere. The service at peak capacity might be a bit slow, but the staff if trying their best, so it is not an issue. Definitely worth visiting if you like Indian food.

Overrated and overpriced place! Customer service is slow, and the food is below average. We tried their mango Lassi, it is not good as it should be. Also, their butter chicken is tasteless. I don't know why people rate this place as good one, probably they never tried the real Indian food

Wow! What delicious food and quick as well as gracious service! We were delighted to find paratha on the menu. It was scrumptious and crisp. The freshness with the first mouth watering bite was something to cherish. Mohammed, our soft spoken server is very professional and attentive. Rude staff. Don’t know how to attend customers. Was excited at going to a Indian restaurant in Switzerland but was highly disappointed. These people don’t know how to talk. We were 4 people. Instead of politely explaining us the minimum spend required, the waiter started crying in his monologue about how expensive Switzerland and how we should spend more, that we shouldn’t compare Switzerland to another European countries and India and that we can go to a near by Kebap place if we want. Instead of just mentioning the policy, he disrespected us by going into a lengthy monologue and wasting all our time. We could’ve taken takeaway too but didn’t because of the bad behaviour of staff. Their pathetic behaviour is visible in replies here too. We suspected the place was not being run by Indian. We were able to find a good restaurant nearby. Don’t go to this place.

Came here after a long day of hiking and the food was just what we wanted to fill us up. The chicken biryani and chicken korma were delicious. The spicy chutney was amazing. Would definitely come back!

I recently visited Indian Plaza Restaurant. It's a good place to check out, but it's not outstanding. The ambiance is welcoming, making you feel comfortable right away. However, the food didn't quite hit the mark for me. Some of the dishes were overly spicy, while others lacked the rich flavors you'd expect in Indian cuisine. The chicken curry, for instance, was just okay and didn't stand out. On the positive side, the staff at Indian Plaza was really nice. They were friendly and quick to assist, which made the experience better. In summary, Indian Plaza Restaurant is worth a visit for its ambiance and service, but the food could use some improvement to truly make it a memorable dining experience.

I would highly recommended to place!! Delicious food and great hospitality. The owner is from Bangladesh. He was such a humble person. We enjoyed the roti, veggies, fish curry and chicken. Everything tasted fresh and excellent. The owner offered us tea and that was the best milk tea I ever had. The restaurant itself was so cozy. Loved it. Hope to revisit the place next time!

A wonderful restaurant. Service was very quick and our orders were brought to us in a timely manner, we were asked about how spicy we wanted our dishes too which was nice. We ordered beef aloo and keema (minced lamb) aloo which were both fantastic alongside drinks and pulao + basmati rice. The flavours were delicious and they even had a place to keep the food warm once it was served which was a nice addition I haven’t seen in any restaurant. I definitely recommend eating here if you visit Geneva. Merci pour la nourriture délicieuse Indian Plaza !! 😊

Paid 28CHF for the driest lamb biryani I’ve ever had. Then ordered a tiny bottle of Coke Zero to try and wash it down but got charged 4.50CHF. Tiny bottle. Not worth the price - very disappointed with my meal. The 5 star reviews are very confusing and misleading. Paid way too much and almost choked.

I’m from London and tried the food from Indian Plaza and The food was the best. Everything was so perfect. If you are traveller this place offer the best Indian food in Geneva. Today is my last day and also enjoyed the food. 100% recommend it and Indian Plaza owner & staff behaviour fantastic. Price is worth it.

The quintessential Indian experience in town it seems! After having visited a couple of other Indian restaurants in the town of Geneva, whether they may have had better decor, furniture, space or what not. None have quite matched the quality of food I've eaten here at Indian Plaza. I've eaten here twice now both a few months apart and can attest to the consistency in their quality. The curries were cooked to heated, and spiced perfection. The naans are to die for and the service is impeccable. Attentive to your needs, and regularly inquiring as to the quality of the food. Simply divine Indian near Cornavin, and if there was a sole complaint it would be that its not closer to where I live in Thônex. Otherwise this is a top tier 5* restaurant for me.

Yum! yum! yum! Seriously the most refined Indian cuisine I've had since London. Multilayered flavours that devote more to artistry. Each dish has its own distinctive texture and flavour. We had the Indian mix, chicken Butter, Lamb Jalfrezi, Prawn Biryani and the best Chicken Jalfrezie I've ever had. The meat was tender and aromatic, did not have excessive spices or oil The service was extremely professional and friendly at the same time. This is the best, most relaxing spot for Indian cuisine in the Geneva area. Would absolutely return and recommend this place to my friends.

Their service was quite good, I am satisfied with their service. Now Let me discuss most important thing. They offer really mouth watering food in reasonable which will make you big fan of their food. You don't need to be worried about cost as they are much cheaper than many restaurant. But one important thing you should keep in your mind that before going there, you should check their Menu on their Facebook page, they frequently change their special item menu. From my perspective food rattling is 8 out 10 And their service rattling is 8 out 10.

We ordered Lamb Biryani, Chicken Butter & Lassy. Only Biryani was good and Lamb quality is very good 👍🏼 I found it over priced and more expensive than other Indian restaurants!

Best food I’ve had in my 4 days in Geneva. Got the Keema Naan and Biriyani and was blown away from the first bite. If you like spice I also recommend asking for the spicy sauce - it adds an unforgettable layer of flavor to the biriyani. Best part of it all was how affordable it was given the sizable portions - couldn’t recommend Indian Plaza enough!!

Outstanding experience last night. Best Indian meal we had in Geneva. Great ambiance. Fantastic and well mannered staff team. Flawless alcohol and dinner main course. Couldn't have picked a better place for dinner the other night. Shout out to the on duty managers Mr & Mrs Kazi, were tremendously kind and helpful whilst in dilemma to get a table on the busiest night, was an impeccable host who ensured our entire dinner was fun and flavorful. It was just what I needed after a long day, something to remind me of being back home. The service was excellent and it only took around 5-10 minutes for our food to start arriving. The couple who run the restaurant were hands-on and very attentive to anything you wanted, if it were some more spice in your food or more tissues. The area itself was very well decorated and spacious with a bathroom at the back, with an AC unit installed too- keeping us all cool while we enjoy the food. Anything was very appealing on the menu- which clearly labels all of the ingredients in every dish and offers a very large variety of food- I highly recommend the Keema Aloo as well as any rice on the menu. I would definitely come back a second time and I am sure that I would not be disappointed.
