Sorry to say that i don't recommend this hotel anymore, went to the pool with my kids, in babies pool elders are swimming with wounds with plasters. Also speaking filthy words infront of the kids, So disgusting 🤢 no one to monitor it. Aslo at the pastry shop, motor bikes are going inside the dining area with smoke and dust.

Place is quiet good,pool is bit old but great . Ticket cost is 250/- for 2 hours.

Located at a very convenient place, the room was very clean and spacious. Hot water, AC, bath tub, balcony Only negativity is that the dialog TV channels were taking forever to load Overall I'd recommend anyone to stay the night at Devon (we did not take any food from there though fyi)

The worst food I ever had In my life. We had dinner last evening and My mom is so sick with it. She couldnt even breathe last night. Even my self. We have ordered wery special 4 biriyani without chillies and fried kankun with beef. We pay 7000.00 but we all got with chilles and the kankun with beef looks like dogs vomit it boiled till it get black and with lot of cornflour. Please dont be sick like us by eating their food. Very poor thing to do this to people. Very dissapointing. We will never let our loved once to go there! Shame on you 😡😡😡

One of the best places that allows outsiders to access the swimming pool in Kandy. Highly recommend.They charge less for 2hrs in the pool🏊🏼‍♂️♥️

Food was Okay. Organization, staff discipline and training could be improved a lot. Not a bad experience but Devon used to maintain a better quality of service than my recent visit.

Stayed for a night during a trip to Kandi. Rooms and restaurant could certainly do with an update and revamp, but the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and very kind and helpful. An enjoyable stay.

Worst service. They dont care about customers. They have many things to say but, my experience was really bad. They ruined my most important day by doing carelessly.

Food is not worth for the rate.i bought a chicken fried rice for a about 1100rs ,waiters directly say -only small amount of chicken will be added.then i bought 3 french fries 1 per about 800 rs and they said each will include about 400 gram , but 3 plates came in a small plate ,when i ask about it they said quantity have become small when frying.actually it was not French fries,just fried potatoes.devon in kandy town still maintain their standards very nicely,but the kitchen staff in ampitiya Devon.devon is a great brand in kandy , Devon ampitiya please try to maintain it.

Calm place. Only 2km for city center. Walking distance to temple of the tooth. What a experience. Highly Recommended. And very affordable

Nice place cituated ampitiya Road,walking distance to temple of tooth of relic,udawatta forest,kandy view point etc. Clean room friendly staff the foods are tasty and valuable for budget. The pool is good can enjoy both kids and adults, we enjoyed the pool and family room staying one night 31st December 2022.

I went to wedding and food was delicious and they have a beautiful pool area too.

The restaurant staff are courteous n obliging. Food is very limited for vegetarians - fried rice noodles or chop suey. The room is basic but clean - no bed bugs .. except pigeons roost outside the balcony n the water trap is caked with its poo, feathers n cockroach. Only 1 elevator. Nothing nearby - no convenience or restaurants so u are stuck if not driving but is close to Temple

We stayed in this hotel for two nights for my birthday and the staff did an amazing job in taking care of us, everything is amazing in this hotel with such courteous staff, amazing food and pool. I cant thank you guys enough and if ever we come back, we will not look anywhere else, and for anyone travelling to Kandy, this is a place to stay!

We stayed for two days. The staff was very polite and friendly. However their lift has a very foul smell, their doors did not have a lock, doorbell didn’t work, people could see through the washroom windows and bathroom was very dated and coming apart. Overall would not recommend or stay again.

We ordered a Devon special at the restaurant and it was just not edible! It was as if a whole pot of pepper was simply dumped into the pan. We couldn’t eat more than 3 spoonfuls. We then had to request then to add white rice to mix it with, but even then we couldn’t eat it. Quality is super low and not worth the price at all!!!

We organized an event in Hotel Devon, Kandy and the location is good and close to Kandy. Staff is very friendly and they helped to arrange the event. Prices of Hall charges and food were reasonable.

small but good rooms. average location since it is not on the lake and one has to walk uphill almost a kilometer to reach it. Airconditioning is good, rooms are clean though not with any view, toilets are nice. a strange thing was that they had run out of milk pouches for the kettle in the room and took 4 hours to procure them. breakfast was average to good. there is a nice bar and swimming pool. we stayed just a night and had a vehicle at our disposal so it was an ok stay.

Good hotel for accommodation for a reasonable price. Spacious clean rooms, with friendly staff. Pool was nice and clean but changing rooms need to be improved. There was no buffet and choice was minimum probably due to lack of guests due to COVID but food was tasty and we enjoyed the meals even with minimum choice.

Rooms seems OK. But it could have maintained much better. Most of the time when the occupancy is low, they do not open buffet. Unfortunately, the most of the items in the menu also unavailable.

Nice place. Happy that still maintain the standards. Prices are reasonable and good is worth to the spend. Parking amply available and hazzel free due away from town. Love to be there and I had good memories with my family.

Need a good revamp. The rooms were ok. Bathroom had a stained bath. One towel. The lift was dirty and smelly. The breakfast buffet was very ordinary and disorganised. Staff was nice and accommodating but overall need a good refurbishment.

The room was good nothing to complain, but the place needs to be renovated. The pool was also nice. Liked it.

The hotel location is good and price are reasonable but for the gym I really upset with their service bad toilets and there is no locker room. I can accept that but the trainer of the gym is the worst trainer I have ever seen. Don’t care about customers, talking like bossy and also really bad customer service and really useless trainer. I have no idea why the management teams hire like that useless person for trainer.

Not satisfied at all by their service,really careless!. When we were looking out for hotels we found out devon and looking at its outer image and the reviews we made a booking for two days.We really regretted our decision. They asked for the dinner order early itself and promised to serve at 7.30 pm but the food came in really late at around 9pm,we were all exhausted and hungry by the time we returned to the hotel also. The chicken biryani and nasigoreng had no difference at all..its the same cooked rice ..whatever was served for nasigoreng was what we found in the chicken biryani too..so sad that they didn't even know that difference. Do I even have to tell about the desert which was served.It was horrible..They didn't serve the water at start so we have to ask them and wait around 10mins for them while we're dining to bring it to the table. In one of the rooms there was no hot water supply. Rooms were fine. If I were to rate my whole experience I'd give 1/5.
