Cafe Lago is a captivating cafe with a beautiful view, inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service. The scenic background of the Kandy lake adds to the charm. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their fries are irresistible, perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Their sauce is to die for with different spice levels. Would also recommend the milkshakes which are creamy and bursting with flavor. Cafe Lago offers a memorable dining experience and is a good place to vibe.

My husband and I hid here during a rain storm. We tried many of their exotic juices, including wood apple (which almost tastes like alcohol). Everyone was friendly, and we had a wonderful time watching the rain over Kandy Lake while sipping on some delicious juice.

Exceptional service and quality in food, anytime I visit Kandy I make sure to swing by. A must-see for anybody that wants an authentic Kandyan experience in dining.

Very nice and friendly staff, but when it comes to the food we ordered - a juice that was very watery as compared to anything we experienced in other Sri Lanka restaurants. - a veggie burger (same price as any other burger!), which didn’t have a burger at all!!! No vege meat, just a bread with tomato and some salad - shocking! 😱 We were asked if we can eat cheese, we replied yes, and we got “burgers” with no cheese… - a tasty but very oily samosa The prices may be competitive, but the money we spent was simply not worth for the quality of food (burger without a burger or cheese) and we certainly wouldn’t repeat it. We had delicious meals in Pure Vegetarian in Kandy for the very same price. Very disappointing.

Really enjoyed the mango lassi, best I've had. The girls serving were really great, nice smiling faces and very professional. Quick service and a good price I would certainly recommend anyone to go and try this place. Great place.

I gotta say, the snacks were top-notch, especially the Sri Lankan sweets, hamburger and falooda - those were my faves! Perfect spot to just kick back, enjoy the view, and munch on some seriously tasty treats. Definitely gonna swing by for more lake vibes and those yummy snacks!
