My
recent
stay
at
Lewella
House
was
nothing
short
of
exceptional
in
every
conceivable
way.
From
the
moment
I
arrived,
I
experienced
an
atmosphere
of
tranquility
and
elegance
that
exceeded
all
expectations
of
a
place
so
close
to
Kandy
Town.
First,
the
cleanliness
of
the
house
left
an
indelible
impression.
The
impeccably
maintained
large
toilets
with
an
efficient
hot
water
supply
set
the
tone
for
the
entire
property,
showcasing
a
commitment
to
hygiene
that
was
evident
throughout
my
stay.
It
was
evident
that
the
staff
takes
great
pride
in
maintaining
the
property
to
the
highest
standards.
The
room
was
beautifully
decorated,
combining
modern
luxury
with
a
touch
of
local
charm.
The
panoramic
view
of
the
lush
paddy
fields
next
to
the
room
was
a
breathtaking
scenery
that
we
enjoyed
every
morning.
Tasteful
furniture
adorned
every
corner
of
the
house.
From
the
elegantly
laid-out
dining
area
to
the
cozy
living
room,
every
piece
of
furniture
seemed
to
have
been
carefully
chosen
to
enhance
the
overall
aesthetic.
The
well-kept
gardens
surrounding
the
property
were
a
true
marvel.
Manicured
to
perfection,
they
provided
a
serene
space
to
unwind.
Strolling
through
the
verandah
with
well-placed
seating
areas
allowed
for
moments
of
quiet
contemplation.
I
was
impressed
with
the
well-equipped
and
methodically
arranged
kitchen
and
pantry.
Whether
I
needed
to
prepare
a
quick
snack
or
a
full
meal,
everything
I
needed
was
readily
available,
making
my
stay
even
more
convenient
and
enjoyable.
If
you
wish
to
enjoy
a
meal
outside
there
are
good
quality
restaurants
and
bakeries
within
walking
distance.
One
of
the
standout
features
of
this
property
is
its
ideal
location.
It
is
easily
reachable
from
Kandy
town,
ensuring
that
you
are
never
too
far
from
the
city's
attractions,
yet
it
is
secluded
enough
to
offer
a
peaceful
escape
from
the
hustle
and
bustle.
The
displayed
pedigree
of
the
owners
of
Lewella
House
was
a
surprise,
as
it
reminded
me
of
the
book
I
read
recently
-
Betwixt
Isles
by
Raja
Bandaranayake,
which
describe
the
life
story
of
Ehelapola
Maha
Nilame
who
was
banished
to
Mauritius
by
the
British.
In
conclusion,
this
Kandy
house
stay
deserves
nothing
less
than
a
five-star
rating.
As
it
epitomizes
the
very
essence
of
luxury
and
comfort,
while
also
providing
a
genuine
connection
to
the
natural
beauty
of
the
surrounding
paddy
fields
and
gardens.
I
wholeheartedly
recommend
this
property
to
anyone
seeking
a
first-class
experience
in
Kandy.
My
stay
was
an
unforgettable
journey
into
the
lap
of
luxury,
and
I
cannot
wait
to
return.
