Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem. Swimming pool in 7th floor. We did not use their restaurant as there were olenty options nearby. Superb location! Just some small things could be improved like not working tv, peeling wallpaper etc.

I have stayed in this hotel for a week time as official reasons. This hotel located just about 1 KM away from the heart of the Kandy on the Main road. A decent hotel for family and friends. First 2 floors one must use staircase then an elevator there till 7th floor. So handicapped and wheelchair travellers MUST avoid this hotel. Hotel room size is nominal and clean, you must leave the key at front desk if you need to clean the room. 20+ rooms available with Queen size twin bed and King size double bed. Wash room are big and they are maintaining clean. At 7th floor there is a restaurant and limited menu available from 6.00 am to 10.30 pm. Room service also they provide, there is swimming pool at 7th level and roof top view is astonishing both hill & valley view. In overall a decent hotel within the budget. You can get : FOOD, POOL, ROOM SERVICE, SOFT DRINKS, TOILETRIES, REFRIGERATOR, AIR-CONDITIONER, SMALL LIBRARY, KETTLE & COFFEE - TEA, LAUNDRY, TRAVEL ASSISTANCE & SMOKE-FREE. You can’t get : SAFETY LOCKER, BAR, SPA, 24 HOURS FRONT DESK, 24 HOURS FOOD, ELEVATOR TILL 2nd FLOOR,

The hotel provides free filtered water - so helpful. Pool is small but perfect for a dip in the City heat, towels are provided! We would definitely stay here again.

Our deluxe twin room was stunning! Everything felt luxurious—extremely comfortable beds/pillows/bedding, a fantastic shower with endless hot water, a beautiful bathroom, and on and on. Little courtyards of plants were a nice touch and the rooftop pool had a fantastic view. Despite being on a main street, our room was silent at night; we slept so well! A quick and easy walk to the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a luxurious stay at a reasonable price!

Incredible place, rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. Food was really good and have options you can choose from. The owners and workers are extremely friendly and ready to help. Stunning view at the rooftop with an infinity pool. Location is close to kandy railway station and other main kandy attractions. Highly recommended.

Simply, a home away home. We had a wonderful time. The staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious too. We traveled with our baby, they prepared our baby's food just the way I'd prepare at home. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, with walking distance to maligawa and many other places of attraction. We also noticed how eco-friendly the hotel was; they provided sterilized glass bottles filled with filtered water to guests instead of plastic bottles, and there was a compost bin in the back lane for their kitchen waste. Highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be staying at Sevana City hotel the next time we're here.

Great location, walking distance to the main part of the city and lots of places to eat out. Rooms and clean and beds comfortable. Rooftop pool is a great spot to watch a sunset over Kandy and has an amazing view. Staff are very friendly.

We've had a pleasent time at the Sevana City hotel, located very close to the city center so you can visit Kandy simply by just walking around. The rooms are small but nice and the hotel provies a pool and a restaurant at the top pf the buolding. Overall a great experience at our stay in Kandy, would recommend to anyone who wants to be close to the city center.

We stayed at the standard queen bedroom. Bedroom was… ok. Best thing about this place was the staff, so nice and welcoming. The place itself needs more to justify the price you pay, as better cleaning (some places of the commom areas were very dirty). Some little things would make a huge different: some carpets or plants in the corridors for example, which doesn’t have life. Pool and eating areas were nice.

Pool is small cold and kind of boring, glass around it is not that clean to fully enjoy view, no drinks possible... windows inside room won't help you to get idea about daylight, furniture is quite used... but for that price ok, staff was friendly, filtered water appreciated!

Sevana City Hotel Kandy was in a great location and 5 minutes from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had my bags taken to my room when l arrived and as l went somewhere on a tour for a few days l was able to leave my bag for a few days. Breakfast was great on the rooftop with a staff member who always smiled and brought my tailored breakfast

This hotel provided the best rest during my entire Sri Lankan trip. It was clean, had strong Wi-Fi, was quiet, there was good air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The bed was comfortable and soft. There were also THREE electrical outlets in the room to help charge devices. There’s also a restaurant and swimming pool. Overall it was a great place to stay for the money. I would stay here again.

We have stay in deluxe room. The Room is clean but it doesn’t have any essential items tooth brush, tooth paste ,sugar & TV channels subscription etc. I would suggest to take food outside because of the hotel food isn’t worth for money.

More like 3.4 stars. The best part of this hotel was the customer service. Super friendly, helpful and professional. Everything from check in to check out was smooth with them, and the guy helped us with car ride reservations and more. Honestly, he is the reason I’m giving almost 4 stars, but there were some other issues I must share as part of an objective review based on my experience over the course of 2 nights. Close to the lake, shopping mall, and many restaurants by walking distance. Temperature check at the entrance and masks required inside. Smoke free hotel. Nice pool at the roof area next to the in-house restaurant offers a panoramic view of Kandy. Water a bit cold, so mostly just good until sundown. It closes at 9pm. In-house restaurant has a lot of local and western options available. We only had the club sandwich, but it was very big and tasty, served with fries and delivered with room service. They do close early, so lookout for delivery options after 8pm or have some snacks. Big, spacious rooms, but with little to no sound isolation, so you can her a lot of what’s going on outside your door. Hard to sleep in with people yelling and talking loudly in the hallways. The beds were very big and comfortable and linens smelled fresh. There was no room service performed though, so be sure to leave your room early if you want it tended. The bathroom left much to be desired, as the water came out quite cold most of the time. One bottle of shampoo and one of body wash during the hole stay. A small hairdryer available as well. No proper ventilation or window in the bathroom, so maybe buy some spray as a courtesy for your companions. Hand soap available as well as toilet paper. Elevator was modern and fast. Security surveillance of the entire building and a guard that watches over the entrance. Very safe! Wifi was so bad we just disconnected even after we tried restarting it. Can find it on booking sites. Payments accepted in cash or card.

Surprisingly what an amazing hotel in the center of the city. The markets, the lake and the tooth temple is walking distance from here. And the rates are budget friendly. Best part is, the hotel is properly designed aesthetically with a roof top clean pool, lots of plants and roof top restaurant. The staff is soooo friendly and courteous! Will definitely come back !

Very friendly, kind, helpful and courteus service personal. They got us the best driver in kandy! The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good and the location was perfect to start some trips around kandy. The pool was small, but with a very nice view. So all in all highly recommended!

Nice affordable hotel, highly recommendable. We got a budget inside facing room with AC, it was cleaned daily and towels refreshed as well. The hotel has his own electricity generator, which is highly valued due to the the long electric cuts the country is experiencing. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good as well, around 4€. Pool is nice, unfortunately the water was a bit ‘cloudy’ so we did not swim.

4 stars to give. It's nice after all. With a nice location, you can walk to the central town, to the Teeth temple or other places very easy and fast. The room is okay and big bed. Breakfast was nice too.

The best city hotel in whole of kandy. I absolutely loved every minute during my stay at this hotel, From the top notch service to the ambience everything at the hotel was perfect. I planned a this trip for my husbands birthday and called them to inform about this. They were so sweet and supportive to make his day more memorable with the bed decorated with flowers and balloons. It was so thoughtful. Very friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect goes to Kasun who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!
