The Whizz is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The atmosphere at The Whizz is relaxed and inviting. The interior is decorated in a modern style. The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area with a view of the city. We had the chicken cheese koththu and it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly and the taste was amazing. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. We went there at night and the night view of the city is cosy to mind. The service at The Whizz was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, we had a great experience at The Whizz and would definitely recommend it to others. ❤️✨

A good rooftop restaurant. We visited here during our stay at Kandy city stay. The food ok. The service was a bit slow as they had limited staff. They only accept cash payments. The place has good seating options. Parking might be a bit difficult when you visit as I didn't see a designated parking space.

Not so good experience to be honest. Service is the only incredible thing. View wasnt that bad. But the food is. It is not good at all. Ordered a chicken noodle. It was more like a Maggie instant noodle with lots of oil. The oily taste was awful. Orders lime juice was more like a more water with few drops of lime. Not good. Waiters are very friendly and that's all the good there.

Delicious food, good staff, reasonable price, good location with a great view. This place location on the top floor of "kandy city stay". I have been to this place several times and I won't think twice to recommend this place to anyone else. If you want to have a good meal in a peaceful surrounding this is for you. Thank God this place don't have annoying loud music.

We had to wait for a long time to get the meal. So the waiting time is much higher in lunch hours. Meal was great. We had chicken cheese koththu, Mongolian rice and blue lagoon. It was nice. Card payments are not allowed in here. Rooftop has a huge attraction for photos.

We went in on 23rd November 2021 and couldn't order anything off the menu because nothing was in stock , the manager wasn't in yet and the two staff present were the chef and the server , they explained the situation to us and informed that they will receive stock soon and we were willing to wait since the staff was upfront and honest with us, we ordered 2 milkshakes while we were waiting and after a while the manager arrived and was in a very informal attire compared to the chef and server , he straightaway asked if we had ordered only 2 milkshakes and asked us to leave without loitering if we had bought only 2 milkshakes, we promptly paid the bill and left. The manager has zero service skills while the staff who are working are beyond average service standards. Train your manager to treat your customers right or get a better manager if you want your cafe to last longer. Two stars only for the two brilliant staff.

It's on 5th floor and you can feel whole hanthana from there. Rooftop Vibe is excellent, but the main issue is that they only accept cash only. So that i almost had to go out to take cash for my bill during rain. Luckily, finally, they agreed on a bank transfer. But it is very inconvenient. I think a resaturant in 2023 must have card payment facilities rather than collecting money by cash. If it was food, food was very tasty. But the portion is not enough. Also, I their service is slower. Finally again I wanna say vibe is excellent.

An exceptional experience at Whizz Restaurant and Cafe! We indulged in the Whizz Special Kottu and Chicken Submarine, paired with delightful Mint Lemonade and Blackcurrant Mojito. The food surpassed expectations in taste and hygiene standards, taking it to the next level. Adding to the experience was the superb location with an incredible view. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

Situated on top of the metropolitan M center building. Bit of an annoying climb to reach the restaurant.I recommend you to go here after 5-6 p.m. The atmosphere is dope in the evening. They don't allow you to bring Alcoholic beverages mainly because there are guests (families) in the rooms below. Smoking is also prohibited. Had the Cheese Bacon burger. It was delicious. Hot Brownie was also top notch. The space is quite small to be honest so if you're going there on a crowded day the atmosphere wouldn't be that great. I've heard from my friends that their kottu is not that great. So I avoided ordering Kottu.

better experience. rooftop in kandy city. nice view and clam place. have quality foods. recommended for dinner out. friendly staff and also respecteble. can recommend small party's like birthdays, anniversary celebration or any other situation celebration. foods quality suppurb. i experience chicken rice and cheese chicken kottu. i'm very happy this. have lots of beverages. it's supperb experience. unfortunately blemed for there is not have card payment facilities. i think should be add card payment facilitate like these places. so. finally i can recommend these places. lovers, families, friends and others. The overall experience was good. The serving is bit late but its not a problem as we can order and go upstairs to watch the beautiful view of the area and it’s stunning. I think it was a good experience and the upstairs is also good we can have a sit there and take some perfect captures. The food is also good nothing to complain. Finally i recommends this place.

One of the best restaurants around Kandy. Staff was very friendly and their prices are soo affordable. We went there few weeks ago n we had a wonderful time with soothing view on the roof top. I would give 9/10 for their black current mojito. It was super tasty but its better to increase the portion 🥺 and their nasi goreng was yummy 🥵💖 and browny shake was lit ❤️‍🔥 I would definitely come back and highly recommend.

I'm European tourist, been to many restaurants here already and can state that this is the BEST cafe in Kandy. Very tasty food (just ask to make not spicy), very attentive service and prices below average. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the Nasi Goreng, Chili cheese fries, whizz special rice, brownie. Also, the rooftop view is amazing.

Not Worth for Money. Poor customer service. Lot of menu items ot available at most of times. They added 10% as service charges. But no service :-) sometimes need to request three times for Water. No proper Covid-19 precautions. No parking facilities.

We went there seeing all the good Google reviews. This was a very disappointing affair. Half the items mentioned in the menu were not available, no burgers, no pasta, Very limited selection of juices. We ordered a Chicken sandwich, a beef submarine, a cream of chicken soup, a lime soda and sunshine( mix of orange and pineapple). Beef submarine was horrible, beef was rubbery. Chicken sandwich was just OK, chicken soup tasted of excess milk, sunrise turned bitter very fast. The city view was nothing to write home about. The only items which tasted like it was supposed to were ketchup and garlic bread served with soup. Based on my experience, I would say avoid this hotel. This is only suitable for couples who seek privacy and don't mind the food.

Such a nice place. Def could recommend this place for good food and ambiance. Their food is def worth for money and good portion. Taste is superb and this is always my go to place for a quick catch-up with friends. The staff and the ambiance is great It actually makes our lives easy. Has been many times to this place since 2019 and it never failed to make the moment awesome. It might have a luxury look and feel but trust me it is not a pricy place. So could recommend to anyone.

I dined at this restaurant on the 5th floor, and I have mixed feelings about it. The view is decent, and the food is good, but there are some downsides. First, the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, so you have to climb two flights of stairs, which might not be ideal for everyone. Also, the seating is limited, and you might end up eating on a sofa, which can be uncomfortable. Considering these factors, I feel this place might be a bit overrated, and there are better options available.

The foods here are absolutely amazing. We shared a four person whizz special rice which was mouth watering. Deserts that followed were equally as good. Definitely be going back to this wonderful place. Great for couples or a big group

Happened to bump into this amazing place while searching for a place to eat after being exhausted with shopping. The food arrived within the 10 minutes we were settling and looking around. There was an excellent table service. I've to say that I found the prices reasonable compared to other places from my previous visits. We ordered a Mongolian rice and a Mojito where both were so excellent. What's more important is that I stepped out as a happy customer..!
