Absolutely fantastic hotel. Beautiful views. 15 minute walk to temple of the tooth and owners could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay,good service,room is nice. Very silent,good sleep. Near city,by walking is good. Don't book hotel inside the Kandy city,noisy and traffic.

Good location and very clean small hotelthe young lady at the reception was very pleasant with a big smile. Grate value for money. The breakfast was amazing. Stayed at one of the lower ground rooms and it was grate and quiet. There is no TV which we really didn't mind.

We stayed for two nights in February. The rooms were very clean and the beds/pillows were comfortable. However we found a total lack of blankets. We had to use towels to cover us to keep warm. It was handy to have a kitchen to use to make a hot drink or to heat up food. Breakfast was served on the patio and it was most delicious. Loved watching the monkeys climbing up nearby telegraph poles.

Adequate and clean rooms. It is basically a very very nice hostel. The $5 breakfast was superb. They have someone there to cook it for you right there as you wait on the balcony enjoying the view. The staff was super friendly, accommodating and always eager to assist. This definitely exceeded our expectations.

Nice Hotel, friendly manager. Good Singhalese/western fusion style breakfast. Organized a driver for us from the airport, went smoothly. Other staff didn’t speak that much, rooms could use a little more decoration. Room was clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Lanka Kandy. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Angelo, one of their staff, gave us a lot of tips while in Kandy. He also helped us booked a tuktuk for a day at a very good deal. Breakfast is superb. Great view. Clean and cozy hostel.

Top location! A clean, spacious room with a balcony offering a stunning view over Kandy. The breakfast (omelette with three small side dishes, bread, jelly, fruit salad and joghurt plus tea and coffee) was so delicious it will be hard top. The guesthouse is run by super friendly and helpful guys. All in all this was the perfect start to our Sri Lanka trip.

We stayed in their budget room and it was more than we expected for the price. The room was clean and organized. They still provide towels for their budget room. The room was well lit and has an access to their common veranda with a great scenic view. The staff were friendly and helpful with regard to our plans. Breakfast was not included but it was affordable ($5). They have a full equipped kitchen incase you want to cook your own food. Sweet Lanka Kandy is highly recommended.

This place really is a fabulous spot and had a really great view. The air-con was nice and cold, breakfast was delicious and it was a really clean room, Overall we really enjoyed our stay here at Sweet Lanka but would not review it 5 stars for a couple of reasons. The staff were so so so so sweet but didn't speak hardly any English and I found that to be tough. In my opinion there should be at least 1 person working at the hotel that can communicate easily. We also only had our room cleaned 1 day out of the three until we had asked if the room can be clean. Besides those slight hiccups...I think you should stay at Sweet Lanka! Oh something we loved about the place was it was away from the madness of the main city, getting a tuk tuk/tax is very easy though!
