I do not Recommend this cafe becz I went there couple of times and I've noticed several things Their Prices are too unfair...if we don't buy more than 1000rs they keep coming to us and reminding again and again One day I bought a chicken kottu and when I was eating that there are few egg shells on that kottu... I Felt disgusting And the staff is very toxic I went there with my girlfriend and I saw they are somtimes secretly looking at us...So bad!!!

The hostel is about 2kms from the city centre. You can take a tuk tuk to get there through Uber or pick me. Because the city is small and easy to go around walking, i personally preferred this hostel. It's quiet and has a very good ambience. The coffee there is just fab. Clean dorms and washrooms. There's a deck where you can relax and just read a book if you don't feel like going out. They have a good restaurant on the rooftop where you can get good food at a decent price. It's a nice place where you can walk to and from town.

Amazing views and seating areas, food was a lil more expensive than we thought but the people were really friendly. Was a 10 min tuktuk ride away from most things. Would defo recommend.

Nice cozy place for casual dinner outings with friends or family... pizzas and burgers and you can expect few other items.. Kevin, the chef was nice and friendly. Tried both burger and pizza and was one of best in the area I would say. Good customer service too.

Food is ok. Over priced pizza. Few items on the menu also. Allows byob, but dont have things to go with it. Servers dont care if you get your stuff or not. Good for an experience, but not worth going back.

Staff is nice at first impression, help to carry your bag up to 4th floor. Property as described 2.5km from train station, u need to pay 200rp for tuktuk, or 25 minutes walk all the way up to hostel. No shop or restaurant around, spare some foods or pay double to house restaurant. Small fan room pretty simple and no atmosphere at night time. Booked 2 nights and decided to leave at second day with no refund.

It was really a nice stay here. The food was great and the service was lovely. I stayed here in 2019. It´s a bit ago but I just wanted to leave a comment to say thank you for the great time and nice stay. In October it was calm and relaxed to stay there. The bath and rooms are clean. :)

Basic rooms but ok. Very Friendly staff. On the roof there is a very nice bar and restaurant with an amazing view over the city. No beer available. If you want one you can bring it yourselve from the supermarket nearby.

Since the moment we arrived, we have had exceptionally friendly service. The staff were extremely helpful with advising us on how to get to Nuwara Eliya and which sites are best to see in Kandy. This has been the best stay so far in our Sri Lanka visits and the view is just stunning! Expect to see beautiful hill tops of Kandy. The rooms are very clean and well put together. The hosts really have made it a stress free visit.

Really really nice hostel. Amazing view and sooo chill atmosphere. I do have to say that the beds are thin so be aware if you are a gentle sleeper

This place is like home away from home! The boys (Eranga & Ravi) are super sweet, warn & great company ! Must must must stay u cannot miss their clean rooms, washrooms & the deck with a crazy view ! Big shoutout to the caretaker, he knows his food!!!! Way to go! 🙌🏻

Deck on the Hill is really a super nice place to stay in Kandy! The hosts are very friendly and easy going. For our trip, they gave us good tips.The terasse is the perfect place to chill out, after walking in the pretty crowded city. The view is amazing. And after all, its really near to the center and there are always tuk tuks that will bring you cheap from hostel to city and back. Just tell the drivers the street, and they know, where to go! Beds are comfy, room and bathroom was clean. Really recommend it!!

We went there only for dinner and ordered burgers that day. The portions were HUGE !! Never had so juicy and fresh patties in burgers before. (Way better than what burger king and mcdonalds have to offer IMHO). The open deck was cool at night (breezy at times) and the view was superb. The hosts (Eranga and Ravi) speak excellent English. They're very friendly without being intrusive. It is my kind of place to relax, have a nice conversation and enjoy great food.

Awesome place to hangout. But 6/10 for the food. Cheese koththu was 650+ 10% service charge and it was salty.
