We, family of four including 2 children stayed here 1 night. Place was a really nice. Owners are very helpful and simple people. Food was tasty. Since it was a short stay for us, didn't get a chance to watch the surrounding day time. But night it was very quiet and calm and with a nice view.

This place is fantastic. It is run by a local kandyan family. They were very hospitable and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the food was delicious. If you're in kandy and looking for an affordable place to stay this is definitely value for money. A great family friendly guest house.

Nice clean room adjoining a communal area with a TV and seating area. The back door to the room opened up to an outside area with a beautiful view. The hotel is in a quiet residential street about 2km from the town centre and 500m from the lake. It is quite dark on the walk back at night so something to think about if you are a solo Traveller, although you could always use a tuk tuk. WiFi worked well. Can't comment on the food as we didn't try it as it was rather expensive. Staff friendly and organised a good tuk tuk driver at a good rate.

Room was good, but got rather hot without the aircon. The family that runs the guesthouse were incredibly nice and helpful, they would always be around to help. A little far from the centre of the city but a tuk tuk for 250 rupees will take you there easily.

My family enjoyed this Fantastic place, very clean, very fresh room and proprietor of imaaya residence Mr Gamini is very friendly and good person. So I recommended this place if you want to lodge about Kandy area.
