A beautiful and famous waterfall in the middle of the jungle in Sri Lanka. It's in the Hortain Plains in Nuwara Eliya. Bathing is prohibited. Baker's Falls is 3 kilometres from the main entrance to Horton Plains National Park. The climb to the falls is named after the late Sir Samuel Baker, a well-known British explorer and game hunter during the British colonial period, and provides breathtaking views over Horton Plains. It is also accessible from Pattipola and the town of Ohiya. Please bring water bottles before you enter the walking trail. Because there are few taps in the hiking trail. you need to walk 3km without any water tap. Don't bring heavy bags because the hiking trail is not easy. If your water is over after the long walk, you can fill your water bottles here. The water is very clear and very Icey fresh since bathing is prohibited, and this waterfall is located at the beginning part of the Belihuloya river. There are plenty of local guides to help you along the way and provide you with all the information you may want to know. The waterfall is surrounded by a thick forest, tree ferns, and a montane shrub. The falls exude a magnetic force that attracts every visitor to be awestruck by their magnificence and charm. it is not a tall waterfall but is extremely beautiful and gives stunning views from different angles. It is a very beautiful waterfall.

Baker's Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall located in the Horton Plains National Park in Sri Lanka. The waterfall is named after British explorer and big game hunter, Sir Samuel Baker. The waterfall is about 20 meters (66 feet) high and is surrounded by lush vegetation. The water is clear and cold, and the sound of the waterfall is very relaxing. There is a short hike to the waterfall, but it is worth it. The views from the top of the waterfall are amazing. 🤩❤️ Baker's Waterfall is a popular tourist destination, but it is still possible to find peace and tranquility at the waterfall. I highly recommend visiting Baker's Waterfall if you are looking for a beautiful and refreshing place to visit in Sri Lanka. Some additional tips for visiting Baker's Waterfall..! *The best time to visit Baker's Waterfall is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. The waterfall is very crowded during the middle of the day. *Wear comfortable shoes as there is a short hike to the waterfall. *Bring a camera to capture the beauty of the waterfall. *Be respectful of the environment and do not litter. *Have fun!

One of the three main spots during World’s End Journey. During the travel, if you choose clockwise direction this falls will come after Mini and Great world’s end. If you choose anti clockwise direction it will come first among 3 places. “🚫Taking bath is not allowed 🚫 ” at this falls. You don’t need to take any separate entry ticket for visiting this Waterfall. Location of this falls in the centre of forest add extra beauty to this spot. Wonderful destination for photography. Various kinds of plants 🌱 around this area will definitely gift you a different hiking experience.

A famous waterfall in Sri Lanka, Baker’s Falls sits between the entrance and World’s End gap of Horton Plains national park. Named after the British explorer Sir Samuel Baker, it is not a tall waterfall but is extremely beautiful which gives stunning views at different angles. Located in the Nuwara Eliya district and 3 kilometres away from the main entrance of Horton Plains national park, Baker’s falls sits majestic and stunning. Named after late Sir Samuel Baker, a very famous British explorer and game hunter during the British colonial period, the hike to the falls yields stunning views of Horton Plains. The hiking trail where the falls can be witnessed is called ‘Baker’s Loop’ which is part of the circular trail trekking through Horton Plains from its entrance to World’s End. It also can be reached from Pattipola or from the town of Ohiya. From Pattipola, there is a marked footpath that leads to World’s End and loops back to Baker’s falls. There are plenty of local guides to help you along the way, and provide you with all the information you may want to know. The waterfall is surrounded by a thick forest, tree ferns and montane shrub. The falls exudes a magnetic force which attracts every visitor to be awestruck by its magnificence and charm.

A beautiful waterfall in the middle of the jungle. If your water is over after the long walk you can fill your water bottles here. The water is very clear and very icey fresh since the bathing is prohibited and this water fall located in the beginning part of the Belihuloya river. To visit the water fall you should go down using the concrete staircase. After few metres you will see the waterfall. There's no route to the top of the fall or to the tank below. But there's a stage made that you can go very near to the water fall and take your photos. Even in the rain this stage is very fit. You can also go near the water fall tank end by simple foot works. You can wash your feets or faces and fill your water bottles there. But the bathing swimming and entering to the water is very much prohibited due to the sensitivity in the nature.

About 1.8km walk from the entrance. Uf you doing it from other end through World's End then it's about 5.8km. Newly built platform provide closer look though the old route provides the better familiar view of the falls.

Located in the Horton Plains National Park. It is not difficult to reach here when you take the Right Hand Side Road from Horton Plains to the World's Ends Drop. There is a viewing platform with a beautiful view. Although not a huge waterfall, it is worth visiting.

Baker's Falls is situated inside the Horton Plains National Park. This waterfall originates from Belihul Oya. It is not a tall waterfall, but has a considerable width. An observation platform at the base of the waterfall & a stairway from the main trail have been constructed a few years ago, hence the difficulty in reaching the waterfall is now minimal.
