When I was in Kandy. I blindly choose a restaurant for lunch. This one had fantastic reviews. Anyways, the vibe, the music and the location, everything is fantstic. Had a very relaxing time in there, very good service. I did order a Fried Rice and a Submarine. Gotta say, i have had better in a very cheaper places. Fried Rice is actually above average. But the submarine is definitely below Average. For these prices, the owners should make sure the food served is reasonable. Maybe it's the submarine. Yet, will try them another time, and will edit this review when I do.

This cafe has a really nice ambience with a super cool tribal themed interior along with wonderful music. It also offers beautiful views towards the city of Kandy and Hanthana mountain range. We ordered their signature club sandwich and it was very authentic and delicious! The drinks were good too. Also, the staff needs to be commended as they are very friendly and attentive. This place is highly recommended. As a Kandyan myself, I feel like this is one of the best and most distinctive places in Kandy city.

Great little tiki-bar themed eatery, a little out outside of Kandy town but still relatively closeby to reach. Great food and service with a lovely view as well.

Marinate cafe is surrounded with a beautiful view of the Kandy town and the mountains. It's a calm and quite place where you can enjoy a quick snack or a brunch with your loved ones. The staff and the owner is very friendly and they provide a quick service for their customers. Food has different varieties of burgers, submarines, sandwiches, beverages, pastas, dessert as banana flinters and a range of side dishes with flavor combinations. The architecture and the seating arrangement of the place is good. But there is no parking facility available for the cafe due to the least space available, and as it is located near by the road. Highly recommend to visit the place in the night time to enjoy a different vibe with beautiful lightings of the town area, and the cafe, while enjoying a mouthful meal.

We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches one pork sub and one beef sub chicken sandwiches are well cooked and had good taste. Pork sub was well cooked and had average taste. But the problem is with the beef sub. Beef sub bun was undercooked and taste like raw bun/flour. We complaint about it to the owner. But he said it is feels like raw due to the high amount of butter they are put in when making these buns. But as you can claerly be seen in the picture it was undercooked. Finally he agreed to give us another beef sub (1st one given back to him) but second one also litte bit undercooked but better than the 1st one. Overoll not satisfied with the experience.

Nice view and tasty foods with more varieties, and unique interior design. The staff is very friendly. And you better take cash with you as no card payments are available. The night view from there is the best.

A good place to dine in with one of the best views in Kandy city. Calm environment with friendly staff will serve you best foods. We had their signature mutton sandwich well enough for two persons and a chicken salad with cheese.

A nice place to dine in kandy. Food taste really good and you get a lot for a single portion. Got a nice view of the hanthana mountain range from the restaurant. And also should mention, if you wanna try out Mexican food in Kandy, this is the place for you.

You should definitely try their signature dish if this is your first time visiting this restaurant. The food was fulfilling, satisfying and worth the price. Although the restaurant is quite small, it makes up for with a grand view of Kandy city. The view combined with the great food makes it worth your while. The Staff is delightful as well.

Great view, great food! Must try are their sandwiches (beef, mutton are my favorite, but really they have all kinds). Just a few mins on tuk from the center, and you’ll enjoy the atmosphere of nice eats. Recommended!

If you want one of the best views of Kandy and delicious, unique food, awesome decor, head to Marinate. It’s high upon a hill with a view of the whole town. I was there during the day but it would be a great place to see the sunset and city lights at night. I had the specialty Panuozzo sandwich with smoked mutton. It was delicious! Had a nice hint of coconut and was very savory. Definitely add Marinated to your dining while you are Kandy.

We ordered chicken cheese kottu, chicken kottu, beef fried rice, sea food rice. Beef fried rice and chicken kottu taste good but the sea food rice didn’t had much sea food and also chicken cheese kottu was not good at all it’s completely worthless. View and location is good. Service can be satisfied
